My first year living at Walkway(2014), my bf and I lived in the alcove model– 536 sq ft, rent was 1400 before –parking, cable, utilities etc –bringing the total near $ 1600. While the space was cramped, the building was incredibly charming and personable. Clark GASSEN the first owner, managed the place beautifully. The place had a great vibe and staff of 6 people(including handyman and cleaner) professional, got things done and didn’t reek of the corporate phony baloney you usually deal with. We re-signed for another year and moved into a larger unit 744 sq @ $ 2190.00. Gorgeous, no complaints besides the bathroom not having a tub.(4 units in the entire building have a bath and shower). Sadly, the good vibes were short lived. 2 weeks after signing the new lease we received notice that the building was bought by Lincoln Properties(corporate as they come). Naturally, within no time the charm was sucked out of the place. New rules, new staff replaced by incompetent, irritatingly corporate types who didn’t know your name and never followed through with requests. My parking fab didn’t work for almost two weeks, something the old management sorted within the hour and at most 1 day. Basically, this building is insanely overpriced for what you get. DON’T waste your money, so many better places to live. This place was legit for 1 year and now it’s like anywhere else… and costs a fortune. I put money on Walkway being 75% empty within a year. Everyone is moving out, especially with the building going up in place of cheapo(target store/8 story apartment building above).

Excellent party pad! Pool bar is amazing. Good time. Good pizza for late night munchies.
