First and last time. I chose East Calhoun Cleaners because of the proximity to my condo. My problem with this place is twofold. First, I was given a shirt that wasn’t mine, understandable, mistakes happen. What really is irritating though is the response I received regarding my misplaced/lost shirt. I was accused of mistakenly dropping off the wrong shirt. Which is absurd in and of itself because not only did they lose my shirt but then they placed the blame on me? Not once did she take my side, she never asked me what kind of shirt I had. Excuse after excuse poured over me. Furthermore, I followed up the next day and the associate told me she spoke with the owner and called around and couldn’t find my shirt. I asked what happened and the answer was«I don’t have an explanation.» That was enough for me. I told her I will be finding another location. I was told that the owner was willing to give me a credit for $ 10 but the associate seemed detached and unwilling to sympathize, I stood in front of her waiting for a firm resolution, I received none. For the record, lost things happen, the follow up and customer service that followed lead me to find a new cleaner. Customer service will forever be the driving force behind a successful and growing business.

quick– clean– super friendly service! I brought my favorite winter coat in that I had to save up to get, and I didn’t catch that it said DONOTDRYCLEAN. the girl at the desk caught that and flagged my coat so that they would only launder it! so sweet!
