Staff is friendly. Donut and coffee good. BUT… it’s pretty filthy in here. Tables haven’t been wiped off for what looks like weeks. Coffee, creamer and sugar spilled all over the counter. Floor is disgusting. The chairs are questionable like a hotel comforter. And the two employees have been leaning behind the counter chitchatting non-stop, except to help the occasional customer. I was in here 10 minutes after they opened. This mess is not from this morning. Gross. I was going to hang out and read until the library opens… but I think I’ll move on.

I really like how this coffee shop is open well before the library is open. It really sucks to show up five minutes before the library opens and have to wait in that crowded entrée way, so I usually head in to Dunn Bros and grab something to drink or eat. The staff is pretty friendly and there is plenty of seating. I really like their banana chocolate chip muffins. Not as good as my mom’s homemade ones, but they are a decent substitute.

Nice little coffee shop attached to the library. The drinks are your usual Dunns so nothing amazing there. What is nice is that you can take your coffee into the library just remember to put the top on. The only thing I don’t like is the IKEA chairs. The one I had at home broke while I was enjoying a nice cup of Earl Grey. Theres no way I’m going to sit on them. I’ve had enough beverage related chair breakages for one lifetime. Fortunately there’s some more stable chairs I can use.

I don’t think I ever would have considered a coffee place to be a family place, but after seeing that little girl with her cup of Dunn Bros, I’d have to rethink all of that. It’s a pretty standard coffee place. The location just makes it a little better.
