Flirt

Ok, so I’ve shopped at Flirt for about a year b/​c I work right around the corner. Been somewhat happy with the style of clothing, but the quality I found in their jewelry and clothing… NOT SO GOOD. I bought 4 or 5 of their under-​clothing tank tops *very cute, but fell apart within a couple washings. Well, the last straw for me was today. I went in to return/​exchange a pair of earings I bought a couple months ago. One of the stones had fallen out the first time I wore them. Hadn’t had a chance to get back into Flirt till today. The lady who was working there told me they were «too old» to return. Wow, I said «I can’t even exchange them?» …NO. Ok, they just lost my business and the girls I work with will be hearing about this as well. Hey, their loss, I guess.

I was meeting a friend for lunch at Café Benelux and he was running late, which gave me a chance to do some shopping in an area I don’t frequent all that often. After running out of Anthropologie with a stinging case of sticker shock, I made my way into Flirt.
I immediately fell in love with a really great Buddha charm necklace, and was equally in love with the $ 20.00 price tag. I also found an identical David Yurman knock-​off braclet, also for $ 20.00. LOVE.
I browsed the clothes and thought they had a really diverse selection of different brands at all different prices. I ended up with a cute t-​shirt too.
I will be stopping back next time I’m in the neighborhood, mostly because my mom is now coveting my Buddha necklace and she’s going to steal it from me one of these days…

Cute, affordable boutique right down the street from Anthropologie in the Third Ward. A nice compliment to the area because prices are pretty reasonable compared to some of the stuff at other area stores.
Clothing is fairly trendy and seems to be contemporary sizing (can run a little small), but there are lots of options to check out. I typically find at least a few things worth trying on.
There’s also really cute, affordable jewelry that is well edited.
I like the space and the décor. Nice roomy, well-​lit dressing rooms. A cute seating area with mirror to show off stuff to friends.
Staff is always super friendly.
