Their burgers are big and tasty. I like that they have peanuts that you can take to your table for free too, and the fries are great. They even tell you which farm the potatoes that make the fries came from. Rockin’!

I don’t get the buzz about this place either. It’s a slightly above average-fast food experience. Prices are very high for burgers and fries so I ordered the smaller cheeseburger and smaller fries and smaller coke. The smaller versions were filling enough for lunch, the bill came to about $ 10. You can get tons of toppings so that’s a plus. They were training a girl so the order taking was a bit slow but very courteous. The place looks very clean and orderly although they had large sacks of potatoes or grain on the floor as part of the décor. The overall ambience is very plain if you plan to eat there. The food prep area is nice and clean and orderly too and you can see them making your food. It took a little time to get my food made but it was nicely packaged. The workers all seemed like they knew what they were doing and busy, tho not as fast moving as you see at kopps. The food was pretty good, closer to 3.5 stars but I had to round down. It was a good piece of meat and the fries were very good too. Not the best but far above Mcds and slightly below Culvers. I just don’t get why it’s so expensive? If it was slightly cheaper, i might consider going back

I don’t get the love for this place. Really at this price point, you might as well go to a casual eatery for some burgers. I’ve had the double cheeseburger and fries when I went back home. Nothing special that stood out. Dare I say, Burger King’s whoppers were almost on par?! The fries do save it though. They are pretty crisp and«fresh». Noodles next door or Chipotle is much better than this glorified hamburger place. Please In and Out come to Wisconsin!

Burgers on the brain this week, huh Rach? Guess so. What’s worse is that my knee’s all messed up so I can’t eat said burgers and then go feel better about myself after working them off. Sigh. Enough bitching and whining… REVIEWCOMMENCE! Five Guys: They’re the same across the board, and across the board they are. That, however, does not make them«bad» or «evil» or whatever. I mean, it may, but not necessarily. I honestly can’t tell you how Five Guys sources their beef or veggies, and I’m not going to take the time to research it right exactly now.(Ain’t nobody got time for that shit!) Insofar as fast food and burgers go, you can definitely do worse. It’s convenient, it’s cute/kitschy, and everything’s made fresh. No frills, signage that lets you know what to expect… they’re not pretending to be anything they aren’t, and for that, they earn points. I think I may prefer local-ish chain Culvers’ burgers to Five Guys’, but it’s nice to know that when traveling, or when in a pinch, that there are fresh, solid(albeit unhealthy) options available should I need to employ ‘em. What’s up with the peanuts everywhere, though?

I think that we have to remember that this is a burger chain and not your usual mom and pop place that would have you raving about it. To me Five Guys is more about convenience at lunch. Order online and you are in and out of there in 5 minute or less for carry orders. Everything is made fresh — burgers, hot dogs, fries and you can get unlimited toppings with a choice of it being light, regular or heavy on the toppings. The only suspect is the bacon at times. It is a bit pricey for a burger chain which is why I gave it 3 starts but would your rather pay 6 dollars for a below average burger at Mickey D’s or BK or $ 10 for a fresh burger and some of the best tasting fresh cut fries around? If you are looking for something quick and decent Five Guys is your place. Otherwise go venture out in your neighborhoods and find gems like Oscar’s, Mazo’s, Sobelman’s, Solly’s etc.

Yeah. We didn’t need to leave Chicago to try a 5 Guys joint. But it was very convenient to where we were driving and unlike many other places, it was open on Sunday. This one in beer city resides in one leg of the East Pointe Market Place at E. Ogden and N. Van Buren. A really huge space inside, completely empty this day at 2PM. If you’ve never been inside a 5 Guys(our first time), a word of caution about their menu items: They can be massive! What the menu lists as a «Little Hamburger» is actually a standard single-pattie hamburger, while the«Hamburger» is two patties. So gauge what you can handle. Then you can order any of about a dozen toppings, your standard veggie stuff, but no hot pepers or guacamole. The burgers appear to be freshly ground, not frozen, but couldn’t find any statement about that here. They are cooked up to order on a griddle in full view of customers. While they post a sign stating, «We cook all our meat juicy and well-done,» obviously you have to chose one and they’ve chosen the former, since our burgers were medium(with a hint of pink) instead of well done. Delicious though. You know the fries are more than just the second item on the menu when you see a chalk board showing the origins of the potatoes they are using for fries that day. Of course, there are those 50-lb. sacks of spuds that form the low walls around the restaurant. The fries are freshly cut and deep-fred with their skins on, generously salted. What is called a «regular» order came out as about 2-pounds of fries leaving oily stains through a large kraft paper bag(along with foiled –wrapped burgers). They make a half-hearted attempt to contain the fries inside a large drink cup inside, but it’s mostly scattered in the bag. Oddly enough, none of their drink cup lids fit this special one for the fries. Although you walk up to order at the register, a person brings your order to you at your table(a number of bar-height chairs and tables surround the larger corral of standard-height 4-to-a-table seating). But forget about tipping. All in all, a simple menu like at the big chains, but a better product and service for the money. And free salted peanuts in-the-shell.

Good burgers, free peanuts, and a crazy amount of fries with every order. I’d say get the small fires since they are always overflowing out of the cups and all over the bottom of your bag. This is not some amazing sit-down burger joint but it is a great and tastier alternative to a processed fast-food burger. You can actually watch them make it all in front of you so you know everything is fresh.

Delicious burgers. Get the small fries. They pile it on regardless what size you get

The most overrated food in the world. As your waiting for 15 minutes for your overpriced burger that comes with unmelted cheese you read all the amazing articles about how good the food is only to be extremely underwhelmed. I personally think the fries are disgusting and the burger isn’t worth the wait /price. The staff is friendly however which is why it gets two stars.

It’s your standard Five Guys. I was surprised at how empty it was when I went. I went with my usual the bacon double cheeseburger with extra mayo and barbeque sauce. I’m not really a fan of the fries. They were great the first time I had them but anytime I’ve had them since they haven’t been the same. Very fast and efficient though. I’d visit again if I’m in the area and want something quick to eat.

Pretty good in a pinch, but I like the Culver’s butter burgers and fries MUCH better. I guess I find the bun bland, the burger OK, toppings fresh, fries hot but too many and too salty.

This review is about the service and the Fries ONLY! I stopped in Five guys one day to see what the fan fare was about. If i ate beef i would be pissed off at the prices of the burgers. Once i saw the sizes of the Burgers i would have been double pissed off at the prices! I ordered both versions of the fries to see which ones tasted better. The verdict… neither! i payed nearly 10 $ for 2 fries and a lemonade! The fries were tolerable at best. The seasoned fries tasted like there was rosemary or hay in the seasoning, dry and bland even as i dropped packet after packet of salt on them! The service was great the staff were smiling and seemed pleasant. If you want to make a statement of how much money you have to spend stroll in 5guys and grab you a severely overpriced meal.

I’m not big into reviewing chains, since most people know what you get with them. I’m making an exception here as this is my first Dukedom in all of Milwaukee. Five Guys is what it is and it won’t be changing for you if you don’t like that. Fresh burgers, awesome fries and zero nonsense to go with it. Well… except for the music, that’s some nonsense. If I wanted Winger blasted at me while I eat a burger I’d… I’m not actually sure what I’d do, I guess I’d just sit and eat a burger, because having terrible music blasted at me while I eat seems to happen every time I go to Five Guys. Terrible music aside, Five Guys is probably the best fast food burger you can get, but you will pay for it. Price is my biggest struggle with Five Guys. For a burger, fries and drink it’s 10 bucks. 95% of the time I think it’s worth it, but sometimes I feel like it’s just a bit too pricey for what you get. Then I get my order and it comes with two scoops of fries(when one scoop is all a cup will hold) and I am reminded at why I keep coming back. Very good, albeit a little plain, burgers and heavenly fresh cut fries. There’s not much to complain about, really. This location is the newest in Milwaukee at the time of posting this and it’s in a great spot for me. Service has been friendly and fast. I’ll be back here often, keeping everyone I can off of my throne as the Duke of Five Guys at East Pointe.

ok… so blockbuster is gone and some new stores moved in, most notable being Five Guys burgers and Fries. Nice store well set up with easy parking. If your looking for popularized deep fried fries that have that wonderful crunch this is not the place for you. Their fries are more like salted slices of baked potato. The Burger was Great perfectly done right there in open view on their spotless, fry grill. Its nice to know Im not going to find a finger in my food… still what I don’t know won’t hurt me, soylent burger yum. Give me an option for crunchy fries and this would be my favorite burger spot, as it is the fries really ruin it for me(check out the pictures)…

Being able to go somewhere and not have to search for a parking spot is always a plus. Being able to go somewhere close and get a decent meal which is a step above most fast food burger joints is also another plus. There’s nothing fancy about Five Guys. You enter and immediately have a sense of what your experience will be like. There are more quotes and reviews of the quality of there product than any establishment I’ve ever frequented. Sort of nice to see. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and took full advantage of the free toppings they ordered. Not every day you can order a burger from a fast food joint and have fresh jalapeño slices and steak sauce on it. I was pretty happy about that. Burger was cooked to perfection. No complaints at all. The french fries were also pretty tasty. Cooked in peanut oil. Lightly salted. I wish I would’ve dined in and splashed some malt vinegar on them, but there’s always next time. All in all a decent experience. I will definitely return.
