We ordered food and we were told it would be about an hour before it was delivered. We called when it had been and hour and half and they said that they were on the way. We waited another 15 minutes and they said they were at our house but we didn’t answer. This was obviously not true since we were looking out the window every 5 minutes. The driver called us and said he came to our house but saw two bulldogs outside so he «took off». This was also not true. He said he was nearby, but we waited 5 more minutes and cancelled. We ordered out because we had a lot of work and wanted something easy… Not happy.

The food is good, one of the better places I’ve tried in Milwaukee. However, i will not be ordering from them again because their delivery driver was so rude and harassed me about his tip not being enough. Beware of this guy.

«Revvin’ up your engine Listen to her howlin’ roar Metal under tension Beggin’ you to touch and go Highway to the Wok Zone Ride into the Wok Zone» *slicks back hair* *puts on aviators* *puts on fingerless typing gloves on* *boom* I am the Maverick of MKE Unilocal and you all know it, but call me Captain. You can stand at parade rest because I am about to review this divey little take out/delivery place. I gave the AA Wok Zone five stars. Let’s put my rating in perspective, is their really a gourmet chinese food restaurant in Milwaukee? Iceman says your ice cold if you are looking. Frankly, I am not interested in looking. I only have a few requests. My sunglasses have to be aviators. My work outfit has to be a onesie. And my hot and sour soup better not taste like cigarettes. Let’s cut to the chase, there is an problem with the hot and soup in the Milwaukee area. It is not getting better and it is not getting worse. It just is. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, delivery(cost), and quality of their hot and sour soup. It was the first thing I looked for. The brothy egg drop what-have-ya is fresh. Cabbage has crunch and it has some heat. I don’t know whose butt you have to kiss around this town to find a good bowl of hot and sour soup but you can pretend that you just kissed mine. You are welcome MKE. I hope that you enjoy this deep cut. Thank you Wok Zone!

Decent Chinese in Milwaukee. The delivery is faster than it says on GrubHub and always arrives hot. The pineapple chicken was better than the kung Pao chicken, which was not spicy. Their crab rangoons are ok, not the best, but not the worst. Not sure why everyone makes such a big deal about them…

My last review a few years back was silly and reflected on a technological issue rather than the restaurant itself. I should have given it another chance much, much sooner. Since moving to the East Side, this has become my go-to Chinese delivery place. They’re quick and the food is consistently good and of decent economic value; I can easily get two meals out of one dinner combo. All in all, good place.

Great food, good service. I come here once a week and it’s consistently solid. I recommend the lo mein or chow mein fun.

This is our go to for Chinese Food delivery, mostly because it is one of the few places that delivery to us, but it’s also not too bad. The food is not outstanding but not horrible, it’s your typical Americanized Chinese food. I’ve tried quite a bit of the items on the menu and my favorites are the king pao shrimp and their chicken egg rolls. The pepper beef is sometimes good but I’ve had it when it was not so great either. Delivery is pretty fast and the owners are nice.

I thought it was pretty good. You can’t find much good Chinese around here, this place was better than average. Takeout/delivery only. Price was average. Food was great, if i remember correctly I got the Mongolian beef. Meat was good & veggies too. It did not seem to be loaded with sodium & msg like most. Good size portions, piping hott! Will order again for lunch.

Ordered my chicken dish without veggies and placed instructions to call my cell upon arrival. The delivery driver was rude and yelled at me for not answering my buzzer. To which i explained that i didnt have a buzzer conected in my apartment, and that’s why i put to call my cell in the instructions. But he still insisted i was to blame for his frustration. When i opened the order they gave me the small portion instead of the large, which i had paid for, and it had veggies in it after asking for no veggies. When i called the manager was rude and refused to remake the order, or offer a rufund. I wont be giving them any business after today.

I’ve ordered from here a few times and the food is always delicious. However, I had the rudest delivery driver of Feb. 14th and I refuse to order from there again. He literally yelled at me for not tipping him enough, saying that out of all the orders I tipped the least. He said that next time I ordered food he would deliver my food last. News flash, you get good tips from good costumer service, not from being a huge dick to a teenaged girl who’s home alone.

Food came quickly, fresh, & hot. Everything was really great, appetizers especially, food was moderately priced, delivery driver was polite, my new go to for Chinese on the east side.

A co-worker’s coupon made me do it, and it wasn’t all that bad. I’m usually not one for quickie Chinese, but a colleague had a BOGO coupon and persuaded me to go halfsies with her on a takeout order. So the Chicken Fried Rice/Chicken Wing plate pictured cost about $ 4. The wings were rather meaty and had a great Asian flavor. Notes of Chinese Five Spice permeated every bite. The rice was just okay, it was a bit crispy and dry as if it was fried on more than one occasion. There was a surprising amount of well seasoned chicken pieces, albeit dark meat. Not much veg in the rice either. For the money it was well worth it, but I’d think twice about paying full fare for food like this.

I like ordering takeout from AA Wok Zone. First of all, they have gotten cleanliness awards from WTMJ. As one of their competitors in my neighborhood smells bad when you walk in, this is important to me. Secondly, they are always friendly and efficient. The woman who takes my order remembers me and greets me which I like. Its the food they deliver at a great value that I like best at AA Wok Zone. I will usually order two meals with tax and tip for under $ 20. I like their appetizers, especially the crab rangoon and fried wonton. When I’m trying to eat healthier I will choose the steamed dumplings and edamame. High protein, low carb. Finally I also like ordering the fried rice, lo mein and meat with mixed vegetables. If you are looking for good quality value priced Chinese that is delivered reliably and efficiently with friendly service, make sure to plug AA Wok Zone in your contact list.

Stopped in for some hot n sour soup to help with my cold. You can a a quart for $ 3.95 and it tastes good, too! I also ordered Curry Beef dinner which included pork fried rice, an egg roll, and a crab rangoon($ 7.50 I believe). I wasn’t overwhelmed, but the flavors were solid and I think the value is spot on. I definitely feel that I got my money’s worth and then some. I would go back again.

This place is great. The food reminds me of the Chinese restaurant from my home town. Don’t go here if you’re looking for authentic, straight-from-China food. This is the type of food that satiates the special craving I get once in a while. The price is right, the portions are generous, and they deliver! Dandy all around.

I give my rating based upon all the other Chinese restaurants in the downtown and east side area of Milwaukee — not based on Chinese food as a whole. I moved to Milwaukee 7 years ago and there was an immediate void in my life: I could not find good hot n’ sour soup or Mongolian chicken/beef that wasn’t atrocious anywhere. My coworker recently introduced me to Wok Zone and it is by far the best Chinese I’ve had in this city. Traditionally, I think Mongolian Chicken or Beef just has the protein, green onion, and the little white rice doodads. This doesn’t have the white doodads(I’m very description, I know) and they add in normal onion and snow peas. It is still delicious! The sauce is light and sweet with a little kick to it, just as it should be. I’ve ordered Mongolian chicken elsewhere in this city and they serve it with gravy — gross. The best part of Wok Zone is their hot n’ sour soup. First of all, for around $ 4 you get a great big quart. It is delicious — full of fungi, tofu, and well-flavored broth. I’m a creature of habit and always get the same thing. However, I’ve also tasted the sesame chicken, broccoli with garlic sauce, chicken lo mein, shrimp fried rice, and crab ragoons from friends or coworkers. I think my favorite thing is that your meal is usually not greasy at Wok Zone — a rare occurrence with cheap Chinese.

It’s good eats for a cheap price. They partner with«Eat Street» to offer student deals, several different options for 5.99. Delivery could be faster but for 6 bucks, I can wait! Quality is good and very good portion size!

When I lived in NY, I used to call the cheap Chinese restaurant on my block while I was still on the subway on the way home to place my order, and it would be ready for me(piping hot) as soon as I got off the train. Wok Zone, I love that you are my new pretend-I’m-in-NYC Chinese take out place. I don’t order crazy weird things(so chicken & broccoli, beef with garlic sauce, spring rolls, etc). Everything I have had has been above average and CHEAP. The lady at the counter is always friendly too. Yesterday, I ordered all of the above(large versions) and it came in at $ 20! Only bummer: no brown rice.

Descriptive phrase: less than mediocre Chinese. I recently moved to Milwaukee and was looking to find a good Chinese delivery nearby, for now and future use. I looked up on Unilocal to find New Number 1 which had good reviews, but they had closed and now pointed customers to AA Wok Zone instead. I wish they hadn’t. Trying to order online was nearly impossible. And if you’re doing so on a smartphone, don’t even bother. The only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the lady took my credit card over the phone. I called in and ordered my go-to; General Tso’s. The General Tso’s dinner plate($ 7.45) includes chicken, fried rice, an egg roll, and crab rangoon. Sounded like a deal. Well with tax and the added delivery charge, that got bumped up to $ 9.50. Add a tip and you’re over $ 10. For cheap Chinese, this better be good. It wasn’t. They said a 45 minute wait, which ended up actually being a little over an hour. There was less of the main course than I expected, but I suppose the roll and rangoon are to make up for that. The egg roll was very good, just about the only thing that was. I didn’t try the crab rangoon because I’m not a fan in general. The chicken was just okay. It had no taste to it, though I’ll give a plus to using more white meat than dark. The chicken fried rice was bleh. Again, nothing to it. Overall, not worth it. I’m not going to wait over an hour and pay sit-down meal prices for food not even good enough to be in a mall food court. On to the next joint.

I was hungry. I needed food. Cooking would have meant having to do dishes, prep all my ingredients, and slave over a hot stove for who knows how long. All things considered, delivery seemed like a great idea. I didn’t want pizza. The next thing on the list was Chinese, and I had received a menu from Wok Zone in the mail the other day. I thought I would give it a try. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and quick to answer my questions. The order came in just less than the 40 minutes the nice lady who said it would. It arrived hot and fresh. It was pretty standard Americanized Chinese fare, better than many carry-out Chinese places I have tried. The beef teriyaki came on skewers, and the pieces of beef were much larger than those I have had at nearly any other Chinese fast food restaurant. They were tasty too, as was the egg roll which was not nearly as greasy as I have had at other places. The only disappointment was the crab rangoon which was pretty close to crab-free. The Sesame Chicken wasn’t as sweet as it was at some other places which is likely a good thing, and the fried rice had a good flavor. I will be back.
