Looks good but the fried rice has a lot of pepper orange chicken is bland. It’s decent food but not at the high end cost of teriyaki and I didn’t get the usual free salad with the meal. But the orange chicken tastes like a banquet brand bag that you make yourself in the oven

The food has changed in the past 6 months. Less flavor, smaller portions. The teriyaki is still good, but the fried rice is lacking. I’m fine with 2.50 more fore fried rice, but it better be yummy. Maybe they are cutting back to save on costs? Either way, we are now opting for a new favorite place to save my family from«What’s for dinner» dilemmas.

Went here for lunch. Got beef teriyaki and gyoza. The gyoza were just nasty. No flavor, and the veg inside was not all the way cooked. The teriyaki beef was ok, but nothing special.

I love this place! Been coming here for 10 years. The food is consistently great! I live a few cities away, but if I am around, I will always stop in! Our favorite dishes are spicy garlic chicken, and chicken teriyaki and tempura combo.

Good teriyaki, nothing special, we eat here probably once a month and it is consistent and tasty.

WORST spring rolls and peanut sauce EVER… ALL rice noodle, a thin strip cuke, a thin strip of imitation crab… really? a piece lettuce and a little piece of shrimp. felt like chewing bland rubber… Then the peanut sauce was vinegar. I don’t care if she did make it fresh… Worse. No reason to go back if they cant even make simple basics. oh and the price 4.50 higher than they’re advertised price and I think anywhere else also

This is a local place we have not tried until tonight — not sure why except it is small and sort of hidden amount the buildings. Sweet and sour sauce is great and the egg rolls are delicious for a Teriyaki place. The ambiance is nothing to brag about. The workers — I believe the owner — were what I call Asian Friendly. They were polite and helpful but did not make us feel welcome nor glad you came in and hope you will come back. I will have to try it again but first experience was good.

Love Gikan Teriyaki… I eat at Gikan a couple times a month. My usual used to be chicken and noodles however recently I switched to the kung pao. I needed a change of pace. Both dishes are excellent. I will continue to visit for my teriyaki fix.

Gikan Teriyaki calls it like they see it. Their dish«Spicy Chicken and Mushroom» is exactly that. For those of you who have already mentally checked out for the day, let me explain: It is nothing but chicken pieces, mushrooms, and spicy sauce. None of that crap some other competing teriyaki joints might put in the dish as fillers, like water chestnuts. Water chestnuts in a teriyaki dish are like croutons in a salad — cheap, tasteless, and utterly useless. Not at Gikan #7. Friendly service and good food.
