I’ve used this free commuter parking lot several times when hiking the Dipsea Trail. We leave one car in the lot, hike, and then take the bus back to the lot. Shuttle drivers are polite. There are clean portable toilets near the shuttle boarding area. Try not to park near the water though, as the lot often floods during high tide.

Big parking lot for Golden Gate Transit buses. You also catch the Marin Airporter here. Signs say no overnight parking but Ive seen cars here all times of day. There is a small shelter for when it rains. On the downside, a lot of garbage piles up here making this place smelly and slimy at times. Also at King Tides(super high tides) parts of the parking lot can be under water. So beware and bring a life jacket just in case. ;-)
