I’ve been a loyal customer of Launder It for years(15yrs+?) since even before they moved to their current location. We used them for years with nothing but totally glowing reviews, even sending our friends there. The nice lady Gwen at the counter knew us by name etc… It really had the«old school» personal vibe and they did a great job on everything. Since it has had new owners, I’ve had repeated trouble — collars not clean on white shirts even with a special request, ruined a shirt with bleach on a very dark gray shirt(bleach?), a couple of times with re-dos of smelly dry cleaning(a sign their using dirty fluid) when you get it home. The last encounter was a brand new nice, dress worn once, dry cleaned for $ 12.75(wow) that smelled horrible when we got it home. It was much stinkier than before, the reason you get them cleaned, right? The owner would not give us our money back, got very snotty and cynical, shaking my hand and wishing me well at my new cleaners. Really? Lose a loyal customer over that. I guess their new motto is «The customer is always wrong.» I used to be able to recommend it.

This is no longer a laundromat. They do laundry by the pound for you — current price is $ 1.50/lb; you can find 1.10/lb elsewhere in town.

Most of the machines were not working at all and the ones that were working were completely filthy. I felt that my clothing was going to get diertier if I dared to used the available washing machines.
