The spot is still my go-to favorite for mani-pedi pampering and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. I’ve been a faithful client for one year straight(coming every two weeks) and though I’ve switched from acrylic to gel manicures, Vicky is hands down(!!!) the best manicurist in Marin(and possibly the Bay Area). I’m regularly complimented on my hands and I know it’s because of Vicky’s care and stellar work. My feet have never looked better thanks to Nancy’s amazing pedicures and I nearly drool when she’s massaging my feet. It’s truly the most relaxing aspect of my bi-weekly weekend routine. I’ve sent friends and family to Pro Nails Mill Valley and this year and they’ve been so pleased with their experience here. I plan to give out gift certificates as thank yous so I can share the pampering! The prices are very reasonable and the quality of Vicky and Nancy’s work is exceptional. The location in Mill Valley cannot be beat and there’s always ample parking. I highly recommend you call ahead and if possible, make an appointment ahead of time. Whole Foods is very nearby if you want to grab a coffee or green juice before or after your treatment. I love stopping in at the adjacent consignment(Diamonds in the Rough) and thrift shop next door to search for treasures afterwards. It’s the perfect way to kick off a weekend!

This is a small nail salon. The ladies here are friendly and do a lovely job. I will be coming back.

I love this small, understated salon. No frills, but none of that high pitched chitter chatter either. They do an amazing job and are always accommodating. My little secret in Mill Valley. Cash only.

This review is for acrylic nails. I really like the way Vicky did my acrylic nails(she has 20 years experience!!!). I like my acrylics long and thin… NOT bulky. And she did them just right. The price was AMAZING. So inexpensive, especially for this area. Plus, Vicky was very efficient. I had my old acrylics soaked off and an entire new set put on, plus gel polish, in no time. I left very pleased. Some Unilocalers are critical of the ambiance in this place and they’re right that the décor leaves something to be desired BUT at least they are playing beautiful classical music instead of blaring TVs playing offensive talk show drama. I call the ambiance cozy and humble. Keep in mind CASHONLY. There were two customers in there whilst I was there and they both had to run to get cash. I found the place on Unilocal so I was prepared in advance with my cash. You can stop at Whole Foods, right next door, and get your cash back before you get your nails done.

First time here after living in MV for several years. Super friendly, clean and reasonably priced… especially for MV! I’ll definitely be back… so excited I found a local place! Hidden gem for sure.

I just have to reiterate what a great place this is. I’ve always been into my pedicures and now that I’ve been going to Pro Nails for awhile, I can say that my feet have never looked this«pretty». When I arrived early the other day, I went into a nearby shop before my appointment. When I was asked whether I was looking for anything in particular, I said that I was just wasting a little time before my appointment at Pro Nails. There was another customer in the shop who is also one of their regulars and we had a Pro Nails fan bonding moment. The owner of the shop said that they hear raves, too. And when one of my own clients started talking about her great pedicures — it turned out that she is another Pro Nails customer. They definitely have a well-deserved cult following. Don’t be put off by the décor — or better put, the lack thereof. It is the best place to get your toes done in Marin and I can say that having been to a couple dozen different places over the years.

I went here based on the reviews, and was disappointed. I got a pink & white set, and they were so thin and flimsy, I was afraid to touch anything. She shaped them well, but they didn’t look good. And instead of a real pink, it was more of an off white. Was not cheap either, and I could tell she didn’t want to be doing it. To top it off, they lasted less than a week. I’m not going back.

went for my first time today(i just moved to MV from SF)…and here’s my scoop(FYI — i got pedis every 2 weeks from a couple places in the city that did a FAB job): manicure: awesome. maybe the best i’ve ever had in terms of getting the shape and length totally perfect right out of the gate(note — i always get my nails buffed — i’m a goof with polish on the fngers) pedicure: also pretty darn good — i just am not sure i like the color i picked! massage: the massage for both the mani and the pedi were much longer than the usual(for a cheapy walk-in place). i was impressed. i even started dozing off — felt so good! chairs: whatever you do — try to avoid the pedi chair against the wall. the massage buttons are totally screwed up and i ended up with all these totally annoying knobbies poking uncomfortably into my back. thank god they had a pillow for me! the place is kinda old-school and the décor is shameful — but for $ 28 and a great result — i’ll be back for sure.

I gave three stars because the price list is really reasonnable(cheapest I have ever seen) and they executed fast. Otherwise, the salon is outdated, small, messy, and I am not even sure that it is clean. If I have to spend 1 hour ½ in a salon, I want to enjoy it and relax, well, I couldn’t wait to get out! I am willing to pay $ 10 or $ 15 more to get a real salon experience.

This is my all-time favorite nail salon. I have been going here for 6 years now and have never been disappointed with a mani or pedi here. There are only 2 stations for manicures and 2 chairs for pedicures, so it’s a good idea to make an appointment. They are open Monday-Saturday, from 10am to 7pm(I think) and the head technician is a very sweet woman. The prices are really good and they have a huge selection of polish colors from OPI and Chanel, as well as other«professional» brands. They also offer a wide variety of nail art and have a large«menu» if you will to choose from. From acrylics to white and pink to regular mani/pedi, Pro Nails is the best. There is already a large number of regulars so I hesitate to share them with the world, but they are too good not to be bragged about :)
