The great thing about this place is that they have kept their prices low(starting at 5 bucks ) that said, when many others raised theirs. 35 plates of tasty combinations and then sushi that many will wait the extra 15 minutes to prepare the fresh ingredients. I like the fact that you can shop groceries nearby, Starbucks, pet needs, dry cleaning, fine bakery, retirement financials, packages to be shipped or mailed, banking across the parking lot. All in the same area without crossing the busy traffic, not bad! And a few more businesses there too.

I’ve been coming here for years, and Tokyo Garden was the first place I’ve ever eaten Teriyaki. I went late in the morning yesterday, and it was the first time I’ve had less then a perfect experience. The food was great, cheaper then their competitors, and with little wait. The only detractions to this experience was First, I saw the chef pull what looked like a box of commercially made Gyoza/Potstickers/Eggrolls out of a freezer for another customer’s meal. I understand they probably don’t have the space to handmake those items, it was a little disappointing. And second, they opened about 12 to 15 minutes late. Since I ride buses, a delay like that could keep me from eating there. Aside from that, I still find it a great place to eat and prefer it to their nearby competitors.

We got takeout. I would say 3 ½ stars but I will round up to four. I got spicy chicken with egg-roll The chicken was very spicy and tasted good. Egg Roll was OK. I also got gyoza which was pretty decent. Stepmother got a Bento box which she enjoyed. My daughter got shrimp tempura and a California roll which she found to be rather tasty. I cannot now remember exactly what dad got. I do know he enjoyed it. All in all a satisfactory experience. Not overwhelmingly wow, but it wasn’t bad. It was very enjoyable.

Really good teriyaki and not too pricey at all. Their spicy chicken teriyaki and they beef fried rice is what I usually get and they never disappoint. Portions are awesome. Service and hospitality is great. I just wish this place was open on Sundays because thats when I usually crave teriyaki but sadly, not many teriyaki places are open on Sundays. Give this place a try, you’ll like it.

Food was subpar. We had the spicy tuna roll and some the yakishoba noodles with shrimp. The tuna roll was ok but the noodles were greasy. Looks like we should have gone for the teriyaki as that’s what everyone is raving about.

Best spicy chicken teriyaki and yaki udon hands down! The spicy chicken is actually spicy not salty. Very addicting! And the yaki udon is amaaazing(has lots of veggies and you can get order it with chicken too).

Been coming here for years. This is one of the best teriyaki joints in the Mill Creek area. Great selection of teriyaki dishes and sushi, Chinese food and other sides. They have good daily specials, a stamp card, free tea and water, and the owners Sunny and Gene are very kind people. It’s always clean and never too crowded. Great for lunch or dinner!

We order from there quite often. My only complaint is the gyoza can be too crunchy often. But the quality & and the amount of the servings are more than sufficient. Not much seating. Family business and they work hard to please. Very friendly. The place is small. Could use new seats and update of everything but, hey, it is a fast food place not a restaurant, really. No complaints. Give them a try. Sure glad that we did.

The portions were small but other than that the teriyaki here was alright. I ordered the special that was supposed to come with beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki and gyoza(only available on Tuesday) but I ended up with chicken teriyaki an eggroll and gyoza for $ 8. My sister loves the beef teriyaki there so I was a little disappointed. I could care less about an eggroll. Okay teriyaki, burger stop teriyaki will always be my favorite

I love this place. I come here all the time. I love that my food is never burnt or dry. They are always super friendly and helpful. They can get busy around lunch time but if you’re looking for great food and service in the area I definitely suggest Tokyo Garden!

I was starving and wanted take-out teriyaki so bad! They were quick, inexpensive, and the food was good! I ordered the chicken teriyaki. Plain and simple. And simply delicious! Service was good and parking is easy in the lot in front of QFC.

First time here. Service was great… very friendly. Food was ready quick. hot and fresh. The spicy chicken is actually spicy! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered spicy chicken from a place and can’t really tell the difference between it and teriyaki. Fair prices and good size portions.

I don’t know how you give this place less than a 5. Let’s just say that Tokyo Garden has been more than a restaurant for me, my friends, and family… it’s a religion. There is not ONE average item on the menu. Everything is made incredibly well and fresh, and most importantly, it is Consistent. Also, what’s really big for me at teriyaki restaurants is that you can freely grab as much sauce, water, napkins, etc as needed. Tokyo Garden does a great job of this by opening their restaurant up to every customer. The little things really go a far way here. I moved to Tennessee 4 months ago after living in Mill Creek my whole life. The hardest thing to cope with is not having Tokyo down the road…

This is the best terriyaki and sushi place I have found in Washington. I have lived all over Seattle(7 districts) and neighboring areas(4 suburbs) and originally reign from the East Coast(countless towns). Needless to say, I am experienced in the wiley ways of the terriyaki. Out of all the places I have tried, hoping, wishing, praying with an open heart that I would find«The One,» I’ve been disappointed again and again. That is, until I tried Tokyo Garden. I’ve ordered: — Chicken Terriyaki — Mongolian Beef — Beef Terriyaki — California Roll — Gyozas — Mushroom Chicken — Bim Bim Bap(wasn’t a fan) — Udon And some of those, multiple times. With the exception of the Bim Bim Bop, their food is addictive. I find that I crave it. The sweet family who runs the restaurant know exactly what they are doing! My husband and I come here so often now that we are in here once every 2 weeks, if not more. I cannot say enough good things about it!

— update — amped up to 4 stars. So I came here again to get another take out. Friday special. They were super nice. I didn’t want the miso soup or the salad, and they offered to give me more rice at no extra charge. The total came to 8.94 or something and the lady asked if I had any change. I said no, but she still gave me $ 11!(change of $ 20) Order was out by the time I arrived, which was about 7 minutes. They were just placing my meal in the bag as I walked in. Friendly people, and wish them a good business. I still stand by the expense of the food. But it’s definitely delicious, for a person who doesn’t like teriyaki too much. Gyoza is crunchy on the outside, soft and mushy on the inside. Original review: … Hm. Their«specials» aren’t worth it. You pay $ 7.36 for half the portion you’d receive paying for full price on similar menu items. Seriously. Otherwise, the photos on their menus are sadly exaggerated. We ordered the teriyaki, egg roll, and California roll special to go. Wow — I’ve never seen smaller portions, especially for a TOGO order. You get a mini chunk of teriyaki… Not even half a cup. The California rolls are big, but that’s about it. The egg roll is twice the average size of an egg roll served at places. The rice is perhaps a tiny scoop as well. Note: I got this for my little brother. He pretty much wolfed it down and said he was still hungry. I’m pretty annoyed that he whined to eat here and didn’t even finish full. Anyway… I’ve been to other teriyaki places, especially for a to go order and their teriyaki is literally piled on top of the rice… I usually can’t finish it! Why serve such meager servings… For a really small business resting next to QFC… it’s not something I would like to return to. The prices aren’t decent enough for people to «stop and go». It’s quite expensive for a place that doesn’t stand out. Which is probably why it was empty when I arrived… The other review was right; the place is «eh…». The menu is filled with revisions on prices and whatnot. It doesn’t really look«attracting». Disappointed :/
