Nearly 2 years ago, I was able to do a free consultation/evaluation with Dr. Hook. The price was reasonable-about $ 5k. My mom’s insurance covered $ 1k and I put down $ 1300 and payed $ 135 monthly. They worked with me and what I could afford to pay monthly. Very reasonable. The office is small and kept clean and organized. My only two complaints– I was quoted to wear the braces for 18 months, but it’s been 2 years(November will be 2 years). This is because they had not foreseen that I would need to extract one of my teeth on my bottom row to correct my bite until about 16 or so months into wearing my braces. My boyfriend went elsewhere years and years ago, and the office had him extract 4 of his teeth right off the bat before putting on braces! Lastly, one of the receptionists is kind of unfriendly. On a scale of 1 – 10, I’d rate her a 2. Maybe a 3 on her good days :/ She’s an older woman, and her name starts with an «A», as not to completely give her away. If you choose to get your teeth straightened here, you’ll know her when you see her. I would’ve given them 4 stars if it weren’t for her.

Dr. Hook is a very knowlegdable orthodontist! He is currently overseeing my daughter’s braces. Him and his staff are extremely friendly and patient. They answered all of our many questions. They accept interest free payment plans or you can pay in full for a 5% discount. They are even in network with Metlife military insurance. I highly recommend Dr. Hook for any braces needs! A+ service.
