Hunter’s Chase Apartments

I live out-​of-​state and have an apartment here as i have been transferred (government employee) to Richmond, for the past 11 months. Everyone has been great, management listens to concerns and does a good job communicating, i called on maintenance only on a couple of minor things and they took care of it the same day. I really like this place, great location, with everything close-​by. The outside walls could use a coat of paint, and I am told it’s been scheduled. They are flexible with their lease terms, and really care about making it work within a tight family budget.

Yeah, its been pretty fair, and Paige and the maintenance staff are great. I just wish we didn’t have to pay $ 20 for parking every month.

I have been very pleased with my experience here at Hunters Chase!

I am a 23 year old male VCU student living with my 23 year old fiancée.
Alright, So I moved here as my first place away from my parents with my girlfriend. Everything was good and we loved our apartment, But as soon as we decided to move to a bigger apartment in the same complex… stuff started hitting the fan. To start me and my fiancée do not smoke and have never smoked, when we moved out they have charged us for «Burns in the carpet» and «bleach stains in the carpet» also when we moved out we were DIRECTLY told not to try to repair any holes in the walls as the guys would fix that when we moved out. The total charges eliminated all of my deposit (which im sure is exactly how they figure out the“cost” of your damages) So just under stand that your deposit isnt really a «deposit…thats just your move in fee you will never see it again.
Also to add as of recently we have now had 3 incidences where police had to be called at around midnight-​3am for domestic violence/​Drunken idiots. just in our building. 2 of which resulted in cops smashing on my door at midnight or later asking questions.
On the bright side…
The maintenance guys will be your best friends. They have 100% never let me down and always arrive on time and fix my problem in minutes.
There are no rats… just lots of feral cats.
