I was in the area for a few hours and wanted to stop by one of the dozen thrift stores, so I turned to Unilocal. After reading some reviews I decided to check out this place. They have everything and in very large quantities so if you are looking for anything in particular, and have the patience to look through piled up goods or color coded clothes/shoes, definitely check out this place!

Love, love, love this place. I go here once or twice a week.sometimes. find stuff that I’m not sure where they got the high price from but most of the time I get great deals. They sometimes have coupons in the mail and they’re frequent shopper cards which you can’t beat. Most of the workers are very friendly.

Came here recently to continue to feed into my wife’s thrifting addiction. Great selection of clothing, household goods, nicknacks, and toys. Not so much for books, though I did manage to pickup 10 for $ 2. They have mystery toy packages cheap, as in they stuff a box full of toys and slap a price on it. Note: do not believe the signs for the clothing, as I am assuming the staff puts the clothes out in rotation but do not bother to change the signs. Either that or «shorts» now means«winter coats».

My last visit certainly warrants an update and an upgrade! Their home items are still pretty bad, but I recently discovered their rack in the middle of the store just for«oldies and vintage» items! Umm, yes please! I mean – I know part of the fun of thrifting is rifling through the racks, but when you’re Value World and you have millions of clothing items, I appreciated the cultivation. I found an authentic, thick-knit Irish sweater and, get this, a vintage Oscar de la Renta blouse! It wasn’t my size, but I scooped it anyway to pass along to a friend. Who could pass that up for $ 5.50?! My second reason for an upgrade would have to be their frequent buyers card. For every $ 5 you spend, you get a stamp. Fill the card and come back for 50% off your entire purchase(certain days only… Sunday for sure, but I can’t remember what the other day was…) Well, well – Value World. I’m a fan. Also, one last little tip: remove your hangers from your clothing items before you get to the register, or the little old ladies ringing you up will make a storewide announcement to do so… right in front of you.

Tons of clothing, not much of anything else. Get ready to wash your hands promptly afterwards. Whole place needs a good deep cleaning and I spend 5 – 20 hours a week thrifting as a second job… it’s difficult to gross me out. I avoid this place at almost all costs.

Great shop. I always find some thing good. Tons of clothes, books and housewares. Good prices. The staff isn’t annoyingly loud and useless like most thrift shops.

I love this store ! You never know what you might find but its so much fun to explore! Its also the most organized and well laid out thrift store I’ve ever shopped in and I’ve been a thrift store devotee since high school . On my last trip I found 3 ties for $ 5. From Barneys New York, Brooks Brothers and the third was something Italian and fabulous.

Not a bad thrift store. I like how large the place is, I don’t really feel like I’m up in anyone’s space. However, the musty, dirty water smell is definitely potent. I usually dart straight for the hooides. I almost always find like a long sleeve tshirt or a hoodie when I go for around $ 1. Not bad place, just have to have an idea of what you are looking for.

Value World is awesome The items here range from clothes, to electronics, to antiques, to simply generally useful stuff! Some is gently used, some hardly use and some used hard. All priced appropiately. Brand Name/Top name items selling for under $ 5! I am not a millionaire, so I cant shop at brand stores and buy things new all the time, but I can go to Value World any day and find amazing bargains everytime! They also have great 50% off coupons if you know where to look and it makes you feel like a king walking out of there with $ 1000.00 + new items for under $ 75! its amazing. youve got to see it to believe it!

I always love finding thrifts that are in the middle of strip malls in the older suburbs. Lots of good stuff from people downsizing for retirement, which means great vintage stuff. My great find here was a 1950’s mirror with a pink flamingo on it. All the home goods looked pretty retro and fun.

This Value World has moved to the tops of my thrift stores in Cleveland. I was there last night searching for either a wedding dress, or 1980’s career woman-type outfit.(Both are part of Halloween costumes). I was extremely impressed with their selection of off-the-wall outfits and vintage attire. They were not picked over when it comes to trendy vintage goods that you could either pay an arm or a leg for new at Urban Outfitters, or used. This was a welcomed sight as my usual haunts have become picked over and over priced.
