Great little diner right across from the Outlet Mall. Stopped in for breakfast from Blue Chip with several of my friends. Great food (we had skillets, pancakes eggs, etc.) and never a empty coffee cup. All dishes were cooked exactly to order (quickly, hot & FRESH) The place is as clean & neat as it gets. Bright cheery interior and GREAT service (Lucy our server laughed at all our old jokes!). Put it on your ‘go-​to’ list for whenever you’re in the area.

The food tasted it came from soup kitchen that runs off expired food. When we walked in, our waiter said «let’s get you guys in and out of here» he threw partially frozen butter at our table when he forgot it. The bathroom was one step above a sewage drain. The best part about this diner was leaving it.

We stopped here for lunch and really liked the restaurant. The place is clean, the staff friendly, and the food great. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich and it was huge. Three layers with real turkey, not deli slices.
Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Not a bald place to eat. My family and I come up here every year and always stop here for a quick meal before and after shopping. Food quality isn’t bad at all. Not spectacular, but not bad. Friendly workers and s good family atmosphere

Decided to go here for a change, and boy was it worth it. Food was fast, big portions, and delicious! Hubby didn’t care for pancakes batter good but they weren’t fluffy. But the biscuits and gravy are to die for. Reasonably priced as well, will return again with kids.

Breakfast was delish! Our perky server was delightful. The omelette was nice and fluffy and flavorful. Hubby’s house scramble was equally flavorful. Fun, lively breakfast place. Reasonable pricing. We will be back.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way home (Chicago). It wasn’t easy finding a good breakfast place, but we did.
I highly recommend the Lighthouse omelet. Cooked to the right consistency and just enough add ins. The side of hash browns were tasty, crispy and cooked correctly (which tends to be a problem at some breakfast places). The coffee was very good.
Service was great, even though they got quite busy. And they keep the place clean, which is a big deal to me.

«Dirty restaurant; the floor had trash all over. Wait staff were friendly. We enjoyed our Gyros and the boys liked the silver dollar pancakes. We’ll look at other Unilocal rated restaurants next time we’re in Michigan City.»
