Husband & I visited IHOP 6÷25÷16 around 3 am, after a night at the Blue Chip Casino. The waitress was prompt & friendly. The bacon was far from crisp. The Banana Nut Pancakes were gooey in the center and had dark spots throughout. I showed the waitress and asked her what these were. She wasn’t sure but suggested it may be the bananas. Hubby immediately wanted to leave and said just the thought of eating rotten bananas made his stomach upset. Although he is fine, it’s obvious we won’t be eating at IHOP again. Coffee is $ 2.39, our total bill was over $ 25.00.

Great food! Great service! Best IHOP I have been to! I recommend this place to who ever like great pancakes! I also recommend the Chocolate Chocolate Pancake! :)

My wife and I Went there on Memorial Day. We were seated after a short wait (less than 2 minutes) we were given menus, and never got served. They seated other people around us and the waitress came and took their orders. We didn’t even get drinks. They weren’t busy and there seems to have been plenty of waitress’s on duty. Needless to say with so many other good restaurants in Michigan City we won’t be back.
We went to Memo’s on E. Hwy 20. Seated immediately, service was fast, the food was as ordered and great!
So IHOP can suck it!

Great food & service! I went here for dinner with my mother & we were not disappointed! As we walked in, we were seated immediately. Our waitress was super attentive, really nice, & checked on us regularly. I ordered the chocolate chocolate chip pancakes & my mother ordered the pork. Very happy with our visit. Usually when Michigan city we head to olive gardens, but during our past couple visits we had to wait a long time. Great ihop

The people where very nice. I ordered the bleu cheese and bacon burger with fries. I was so looking forward to a simple burger but the patty tasted like it came out of a box. I could have used the fries for a writing instrument but I ran out of ketchup. I realized I should have stayed with breakfast but it was worth a shot …
Specialty is always key don’t go out of the realm.

Go here once in a while, mostly when we get a room at the Blue Chip. Really like this place overall. My wife orders her crepes and I always get their sampler. More meat on the sampler than any other dish. The service is fantastic and they even gave use a discount because they determined that we waited too long for our food. We love the bottomless coffee pot, reminds us of Lums and Perkins. I know this is a chain but it’s one our favorite places for breakfast.

Food was really good. The only thing keeping this place from five stars is the room temp. Came here twice, still sitting here writing this, and it has to be 60 degrees max. It’s hot out, so I’m in shorts. Freezing! But at least the meal was tasty, and the waitress staff both times were very friendly and helpful. Bring a sweater and you’ll have a great breakfast!

First time at this location… The place was not too crowded (a Friday evening). It was a clean restaurant with a friendly staff. Our waitress was accommodating to our needs & the small encounters we had with others were pleasant.
I ordered the steak & eggs meal. It was really good except the steak was chewy. The eggs were cooked just as I asked, delicious hash browns, & a side of wheat toast (I could have gotten pancakes, but opted for the toast). My daughter got eggs, hash browns, bacon, & pancakes. She loved everything. The portions were plentiful & the price was what we expected for what we ordered.
I would definitely return.

Great food great prices. The wait staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and well kept. It isn’t overly noisy even when they are really busy. Never had a waitress that didn’t carry a smile.

The wait is just way too long, i was order a breakfast sampler and it take almost half hour to get to my table and the most important thing is there only three tables in the whole restaurant. But other than that, the food is great and the staff were nice.

We love ihop. So we specifically got off the road to get some dinner. Was sat at a booth far from the others and not like they were busy. Waited for about 10 minutes and still nobody came to serve us. So we walked out. There was definitely enough servers. Even the guy who sat us down went to every other table to do something but never looked to see we had nothing. Horrible service.
