Great boutique experience. Affordable prices and the service was amazing. The two sales people both spoke prefect English and went out of their way to help me find the perfect guayabera.

If you know that you want a good quality Cuban guyabera, this is an easy choice. Quick and straightforward. The owner was quite pleasant too.

Recently I found myself in South Florida attending a conference with my wife. There was to be a «formal-​ish» evening party with an all-​white clothing theme. I hate dress shirts and ties, I wear them all day. My 1^st generation Cuban-​American wife made the perfect suggestion– a white guayabera. Guayaberas can be formal AND comfortable. So being from out of town I did a quick Unilocal search and found The Guayabera Lady. During a break in the conference my wife and I drove the 45 minutes into Miami to the store. It was my intention to quickly buy a shirt and leave. I’m not saying I would particularly agree with the stereotypical differences arguing that men «buy» and women «shop», but it’s true enough for me. I was about to become completely surprised by what was one of my most pleasant buying/​shopping experiences.
My wife and I walked into the store and were instantly impressed with the atmosphere. I can’t describe it other than to say it was elegant, but not pretentious, and very comfortable. Berta Bravo, the proprietress, quickly greeted us with all her Cuban warmth. We tried on several shirts until we found just the right size and fit. In no time at all she helped me find two fine linen quayaberas that made me look far better than I normally look. As we purchased the two guayaberas, we chatted with several men in the other room who were filming a piece on the history of the guayabera. They were bantering amongst themselves, and they too made us feel welcome as they joked.
Berta ended our purchase giving me and my wife a hug, and telling me that all Cuban gentleman should have a cigar in their pocket. When I got back to my hotel and unwrapped my guayabera I found a Carlos Tarano Exodus 1959 cigar in the left breast pocket.
This lady is a class act, this store is a class business. Even though I live over 600 miles away, I will be buying more guayaberas from Berta Bravo, The Guayabera Lady.

Wonderful experience very personable family owned business. They educated us on the different styles of guayaberas. Will definitely go back! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this business especially at a time where big chains are taking over, it is wonderful to experience a very personal relqtionship where you leave feeling like family. Price was extremely affordable for guayaberas $ 34-​$ 79, both men and women.

Wow, I had by far the best shopping experience here. I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by Berta. She asked me my size, I am 6′ 7″ 320 lbs, I usually wear a XXL tall and she had a wide variety of options for me. I bought two shirts, my brother bought another, and my sister-​in-​law bought a shirt as well.
While perusing the clothing we were offered a cup of Cuban coffee, we agreed to try some. The best coffee I have ever had. We also were given a cigar to sample, a great cigar by the way. As were leaving to continue are vacation, Beta hugged all of us and wished us a great trip to the Keys. Beta and her family are some of the nicest people I have ever meet in my life. I have never laughed and smiled so much while buying a shirt. I recommend this place to everyone. The neighborhood is nice, by the by.
