Although some locations are better than others, this one is a disappointment. It’s not well organized. The clothes are everywhere and the store itself needs some remodeling.

I remember, long time ago, when one could actually find decent stuff at a Ross. Some locations are better than others but this one keeps disappointing.

I’ll start off by saying that my mother is really into bargain hunting. It amazes me how she knows where are the cheaper fruits to where you can find great prices on clothes. Ross is one of those places that if you look hard enough, you can come out with fashionable pieces for a great price. We went here looking for stuff for our trip and didn’t want to spend much and though I found shoes that were comfortable to walk in for long periods of time, when we got to our trip destination and after a day of wearing it– they were both different colors! They put two different shoes with similar shades together and I fell for it! Now I can’t return the shoes as they have been used and there goes $ 15…thank goodness it was so cheap. Lesson to learn: be careful and look twice when shopping here or at any Ross. Their best location is in the Gables just FYI

Let me preface this review by pointing out that I was raised to be thrifty so I am one to always appreciate a good value and generally, I actively seek out opportunities for savings. Some bargain hunters(my better half being one of them) do seem to think that the undeniably attractive deals on certain items is worth the inevitable aggravation that comes with the territory of shopping at this particular store. To shop at this Ross, one should be prepared to spend entirely too much time sifting through the unsettling and rather disastrous mess of the store in an attempt to distinguish the handful of good stuff from the mostly useless junk. And if you are the kind of person who expects customer service representatives to actually provide you with useful service of any kind, you are likely to be sorely disappointed at this store. But the worst part about visiting this particular Ross is the indescribable madness you can expect to experience by actually trying to pay for the hard-earned goods that you may have scored. The lines are almost always unbearably long, not so much because of the crowds(although it certainly does get crowded) but mostly due to the fact that there are never enough registers open or employees on duty and apparently the manager has gone through a lot of trouble to ensure that those limited open registers are staffed by the slowest people they could possibly find. The last time that I reluctantly agreed to come here in search of a good deal on pricey exercise equipment, I remembered every detail about why I hate this place so much and why I cringe every time my partner suggests that we check out what they have. Though we did find what we were looking for at an amazing price(more than half off what I expected to pay), the agonizing 60 minutes spent waiting in line and suffering through the revolting smell of human vomit that was ignored by the Ross staff was more than I could stand. A little girl, whose mom was a few people ahead of us in line, became sick and suddenly threw up all over the floor next to the line. The mom alerted employees immediately and used what napkins she had in her purse to try and clean up the mess but it was of little help. It took them more than forty minutes to even put a slippery warning sign near the area(and approximately 4 people nearly had a big spill as they slid on chunks of partially digested food when walking by) but I never saw any of the employees even attempt to clean it up while I was there. While I did get a great deal on the exercise equipment I was looking for, I’m not convinced that the savings was worth the headache and aggravation that came with it so the next time my partner insists on going to Ross, you can bet that this particular location is officially out of the question. I would rather drive a bit further to visit other locations than repeat history all over again at this one. The most tolerable Ross store that I know of is the one on Miracle Mile in the Gables so I guess that’s where I’ll be heading to if there happens to be a next time at all.

I come here with my daughters bargain hunting at times. You can find decent deals here from time to time but the checkout line to pay is usually a killer and deal breaker for me. I’ve just walked out empty handed several times for this reason alone.

Ok so I know these discount stores aren’t meant to look & feel like Neiman Marcus butt this place is ridiculous! It looks like a hurricane hit here & no one poked up the debris! I walked in here one day to see if there are any good savings & had to leave after 5 minutes because it was horribly disorganized. I recommend going a few blocks east and go to Marshalls. At least they are a tad bit more organized.

I agree with lourdes this ross is really messy and it does seem as if everything is not where its supposed to be. But, on the other hand if you go late at night around 8ish on a weekday the store is less packed and one can find many steal bargains. for instance, i had a job interview and i had gone to many stores already and in the end just bought a shirt from the gap at 60 bucks and then i really didn’t like it so, i returned it and went to ross and ended up buying with the 60 bucks a shirt for the interview that i liked, a bra to push up the puppies, black heals for the interview, an elmo dvd for my daughter, and a 3 piece outfit for my son and it all came up to 52 bucks including tax. its close to my house, so for me its a good store to shop at if you have patience and are willing to look through all the racks and mess of clothes.
