I don’t know what dark magic they use to make the French toast, but it was powerful. Spectacular!

Was highly recommended but what a disappointment. Will never go back. The worst service. I don’t if the waitress forgot to place the order but our food took over 45 minutes. Not once did she come to see if we needed anything else. The food wasn’t even hot. TERRIBLE On top of that the tip was added to check so obviously they don’t have to work for their tip. Can’t find words to express my disappointment!!!

Very nice new French/Latin hybrid taking over the former Karlo bakery space on Coral Way. Really happy to see this place open. Very high quality pastries, breakfasts and coffees offered here in an upscale atmosphere. My server actually spoke English too which is a huge plus as I have found this to not be the case at the other La Boulangerie location on Key Biscayne. Close enough to Brickell with plenty of parking around to make this a go to spot for me.

We found this gem via Unilocal, and came in for brunch. The food is exceptional, the staff is courteous, kind, and efficient. I loved the décor and the ambiance, and if I lived in the area, I would absolutely be a regular.

I recently moved into the neighborhood and wanted to try this place out. It was more than what I had expected… It was GREAT! Everything looked amazing! All the breads, fresh squeezed oj, coffee, scrambled eggs, etc. The servers were always asking us if we needed anything else. The tequeños and the nutella croissant were to die for! I will be coming to this place very often :)

Love Love Love this place! We went one Sunday afternoon for lunch. We started out with some tequenos that were absolutely delicious. For lunch we had the California sandwich, and the New Orleans sandwich. Oh my, both were to die. The french bread was so soft and so fresh. That is what french bread must taste like in heaven. For dessert I had an almond croissant with a Nutella as a side. It’s safe to say I rolled out of there one happy camper. Not usually a fan that gratuity was included but the service was great so we didn’t mind. Very happy to have found this spot. Will definitely be back here! So good!

The automatic gratuity at the end of my brunch check put a damper on what was a tasty brunch, and I have to drop my star rating accordingly. I was in the area this morning for brunch, and stopped by what was the Old Karlo Bakery space. As you walk in, the counter is still full of delicious and nicely presented pastries. I ordered my usual Eggs Benedict, and liked what I had. In addition to the eggs and hollandaise, they served it with an asparagus spear and fresh, plump tomato garnished with I believe was basil. The veggies were an original touch! They were out of my first choice of mango mousse, so I ordered the strawberry one. It was sweet and creamy, with some coconut shavings. Like I mentioned, no complaints about the food. Service was very quick for a packed Saturday house. I saw the 15% automatic gratuity when I got my check. I would have tipped more but you know my position on automatic tips, especially as a solo diner. Two of my favorite restaurants in town don’t charge this, and their service is spectacular. Here’s hoping Boulangerie does the same soon.

My new favorite bakery! I sometimes stop here before I run into work. It’s refreshing to eat here. I always order the spinach, ham and cheese, or tomato basil empanada and the prices are great! The ambience is great for those who want to have called small get together and is very fun and refreshing. The girls who work there are nice and detailed. Perfect for those who are on the go.

Quality! If you are looking for a quality breakfast experience, this is the place. Stopped in late Sunday morning, and while the place is busy, the wait was short… and what would you expect is you are getting great breakfast Definitely fits all palates

Glad this place finally popped up! This weekend I was able to enjoy their coffee selection and pastries! Plus each time the place was packed! I love what they have done with their interior. It’s the kind of place that need to occupy this unique corner of Coral Way. Today I tried the dulce de leche pastry and cream cheese stick! They warm up the pastries for you and they are perfectly flaky and sweet. I would have ordered more pastries but I had to exercise will power. Everything behind the glass case looks amazing. I also had the mochachino which was very good as well as the American coffee. Though American coffee is simple, I have had places mess it up. But the coffee at La Boulangerie had some great coffee. I will definitely go back for brunch and lunch!

Hmm… I didn’t absolutely love breakfast here on my first visit. It was more like A-OK, but the mochaccino definitely made up for it. The coffee was delicious and beautiful to look at. Now, why did I set high expectations for their Nutella(banana and rum) croissant? The croissant was tasty, but the banana flavor was stronger than the Nutella(clearly I was hoping for it to be the other way around). We ordered the Croque Madame and two other empanadas – ham & cheese, and the tomato one. Overall, the plates were a little messy to eat. My eggs and ham kept slipping out of the baguette so I had to resort to utensils. It was not how I envisioned it(again… expectations). The tomato juice was squirting out of the empanada; it was yummy, but not cute. The service was pretty great; we were seated outside and still received good table service. Out waitress was attentive and made no mistakes with our order. I had asked for half the sandwich with brie and the other half with Gruyère cheese – she got it just right! Like other reviews state, the gratuity is included in the bill. That’s a bit strange, but alright. Would I come back? Probably just for the mochaccino and the outdoor seating.

3.5 stars. I pass this spot often and have been curious to try. After Sunday brunch plans fell through yesterday, we were in need of food stat and decided to head here. First impression? It was packed! We had to wait until a family left in order to be seated. While we waited, I perused the bakery cases. One side is stocked with empanadas ranging from organic spinach and mozzarella and chicken to banana, Nutella and rum, and Spanish chorizo and cheese. The other side is stocked with sweet treats like cakes and tarts, along with croissants, tequeños, and pan de bono… They really have a little bit of everything! We were ravenous so asked for a Nutella croissant to start, and then ordered one Eggs Benedictine and one Croque Madame. I LOVED the Nutella croissant. It was served warmed and stuffed with a good amount of the sweet stuff. Each of the main breakfast platters comes with a small glass of fresh OJ and a regular coffee. I asked for a cortadito instead and ended up being charged extra so keep that in mind. The eggs Benedict was served with an asparagus stalk and roasted tomato. I found the eggs to be cooked perfectly and enjoyed the hollandaise. Overall, it was a good standard Benedict. The Croque Madame was served open face on a baguette. I think it lacked in bechamel which left it pretty dry but my boyfriend still ate it all. Total, our meal came out to around $ 20 for each person. The space is quite hollow so if it’s as full as it was this morning(lots of kiddies included), it can be quite loud and hard to have a conversation. I’ll be back soon to see if it’s always like this. If not, it could be a good spot to get work done. Apart from that, I’d probably come back just to grab some pastries or empanadas to go. The service was alright. A little slow at times and I didn’t love that gratuity was included in the check. Hopefully as they settle into the neighborhood, the little kinks will get worked out.

Ordered a «café con leche» and toast. They charged me for a Combo(café americano, orange juice & toast) plus the latte. The server wasn’t able to give me options or suggestions. I told another lady, and she said that wasn’t right but they still charged me $ 4.15 for toast baguette with butter on the side, not even jam(this is like buying 2 baguettes) !!! Plus the latte for $ 3.95 plus tax plus service charge. Are they crazy or what !!!
