I have just walked into a small café in the countryside somewhere in South America. The staff and the patrons are all loudly gabbing in Spanish. On a cold and or rainy day this is the perfect place to come have a big bowl of hot soup and some lemon infused french fries. The best deal is a $ 10 special. The other items are going to run you around $ 13 to $ 17, but it is well worth it. Why would you visit this restaurant? I think you would visit here because you want to eat Lebanese food or tacos or lasagna or any of the pork dishes, especially the Jamaican pork dishes. Everything is clearly home made and if you look in the back you can see abuela cooking in the kitchen. The owners of the restaurant went to great lengths to make sure that attention was paid to every little detail and the decorations. The lampshades are cheese graters and keys hang from the curtains. I have eaten here twice this week and I will be back next week. I hope to see you here, too!

Great food, I had the prime steak cooked medium, with sautéed vegetables and white rice during afternoon. It was awesome. The only downside is there is a lack of parking, but you can park at the win dixie nearby.

So I bought a groupon after seeing the amazing reviews on here and this place didn’t disappoint one bit. The food is literally FAMAZING. we got yuca fries, signature French fries with the pork and egg on top(god damn best fries I’ve ever tasted!), chicken sandwich, and quesadilla. This food blew my mind. It was so delicious! I highly recommend this place. It’s such a cute place too! You can eat inside or outside but we ate inside. The service is great. Waitress was so attentive. The only thing I don’t like is finding parking. Go on a weekday! Coral gables is the worst for parking!

Stopped in just to try it out since we drove by everyday while they were prepping to open. Wow! Been there several times and I’ve only had one meal where I was on the fence(chicken sandwich. and that’s cause they put shredded carrots on it, not a fan) but the onion steak sandwich is to die for and their tacos will leave you wanting more. Parking is a challenge, but worth the trip!

Decided to look up a place close to home and came upon this little place. A 5 star rating always gets my attention so I decided to give it a shot and it certainly did not disappoint. The breakfast was delicious. I went with the pancakes and Aussie toast. It was amazing. Love that this place is family owned and run! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back and try their lunch/dinner!

I figured I’d celebrate my Elite of the Week by expanding my culinary horizons beyond Hialeah and Miami Lakes and taking advantage of a meeting in the Coral Way area. Caserito had been sitting in my bookmarks since they opened, but I hadn’t had a chance to venture south. It is definitely worth the trip(though Coral Way isn’t that far :) Besides the heavy rotation of Don Sinatra on the soundtrack, Caserito stands out due to its original combinations of flavors and fresh food preparation. The way they blend savory and sweet is awesome. First, I was greeted by a cup of mariquitas(green plantain chips) with the spicy kick of piquillo peppers. Thanks to my Unilocal check-in, I enjoyed yuca fries with with shredded cheese and Mexican crema. Next up was my main course of Jerk Chicken sandwich with orange marmalade. This too was a hybrid, since the sandwich was originally served with mayo(great service in customizing my order!) The sweet and heat played nicely off each other on my sandwich. The lemon oil on my fries cut the grease and made the fries taste even better. I closed it with the original dessert of Prunes and Cream cheese. It was actually smooth and sweet! Besides customizing my sandiwch, Caserito also gets customer service points in letting me in when they were about to close and the Chef had left. They let me place my order, called him back and didn’t rush me out. Oh, and while I was eating I heard them talking about what to shop and preparing the coming menu. I liked their fresh cuisine.

I had such a pleasant lunch here, it’s such an unexpectedly cute and well decorated restaurant on Coral Way. Between the Gables and Brickell there aren’t many places like this. Stopped in here on a whim for lunch and I’m glad I did. They have a $ 9.99 lunch special. Today the lunch special included a carrot soup and entrée. The carrot soup was light and creamy, with a few bits of parsley in it. It was a perfect starter. The lunch entrée was a jerk chicken breast, with black beans, and fried yuca… now this sounds ordinary but the flavor was bursting off of the plate. The black beans were delicious. When the dish first came I thought it was odd to JUST have black beans but they were amazing, and I have had all kinds of black beans! The jerk chicken was moist and well seasoned. And as with all great Venezuelan yuca dishes, the fried yuca had shredded white cheese and natilla spread over the top. The lunch was excellent, and the value was perfect. They have a great variety of dishes on their menu as well as fresh juices! I would be curious to try their brunch here! Based on the other reviews it seems like they do a great job of that too! And to make it even better they have a little Unilocal deal going right $ 5 for $ 10 worth of food, which is a nice little perk!

Came here today for breakfast and experienced the best meal I’ve had in ages! I ordered the Aussie Toast —(fresh baked) whole wheat toast topped with Avocado, roasted red skin potatoes, green beans, bacon, blueberries and a fried egg. Sounds odd right? But the flavors worked magically together. Every single bite was delicious! Seriously, you gotta try this. The chef came over to ask how everything was and when I told him I loved it, that the flavors were so unique, he explained that breakfast is the same everywhere — eggs, bacon, cheese. The flavors don’t change, so true! He wants to bring something new and exciting to the table. He definitely achieved that with this dish. We also had fresh squeezed orange juice(I mean, I saw the waitress squeeze the oranges). My boyfriend ordered the omelette and loved that as well — very fresh, served with toast and homemade jam with mint leaves. So good! Very cute restaurant overall — amazing service, delicious food with super fresh ingredients, cute home-y décor, and a chef that cares. 5 stars all the way! Will definitely be back — again and again.

Brand new place on coral way is a must-try. The restaurant is Venezuelan but not the Venezuelan you are use to seeing in and around the area. So if you are looking for arepas, head a block north to Doggis. No, this would be more like Venezuelan comfort food but elevated. My friends and I went in for brunch. The menu has a great variety and something for everyone. While My friend and I were ready for brunch, my husband was in the mood for a steak and even though it was not on the brunch menu, Caserito was very accommodating and made the picanha off their regular menu. The food was great and really delivers what the name promises, homegrown/made delicious food. The restaurant is small and intimate with an open kitchen concept. The décor is very cute and creative(I mean cheese grater lampshade?! Genius). Bonus: I took a look at their full menu and it promises«pastelitos andinos»(similar to a turnover but way more amazing) so of course I have to come back. Definitely recommend.
