When my Dining Companion is out of town, i often engage in a guilty pleasure — KFC. Three piece dinner, original recipe, dark meat with mashed potatoes (great gravy!) and cole slaw.
They now charge $ 7.91 for this, including a soft drink I don’t get because I take it home to have with a beer or wine (remember: red is with pizza, white is with KFC).
Anyway, there’s no chance that any Unilocaler will consider this review before choosing a KFC, but in case national management checks these things on web, I want to say that my last two outings here have been disappointing. One visit they said they were out of dark meat ???
The second time, I got a mac and cheese side inside of my cole slaw. Mac-​and-​cheese with mashed potatoes as the other side is not my idea of a gourmet fast food treat.

I came in for lunch and ordered two famous bowls. The woman at the front was nice and helpful. She told me the morning crew is better than the afternoon crew. They had our food out surprisingly quickly, and it was hot and good! It wasn’t busy at all so I don’t know ow they handle things when it is, but as for me, my experience was better than at many other KFCs! Thanks.
