JC Penny

My review below from more than 4 years ago still stands. Most recently I was passing through this store and decided to browse and did find a few items to buy. While their selection is still pretty poor in general (aside from «branded» T-​shirts from Adidas, Nike, DC Shoes, etc. they didn’t have any novelty or generic sloganed Ts. How’s that possible?)
One thing I appreciated was the amount of associates they had at the checkout counters. When I got to the checkout, 2 employees were busy helping people, and there was one woman in front of me. A 3^rd associate came quickly to help the woman in front of me, while a few seconds later, a 4^th associate came along with a handheld checkout device that could be used for credit card purchases, she scanned my items, swiped my card, bagged my items and printed my receipt at one of the regular registers and I was good to go!
Nice to see that Penney’s does have proper sales back once again. The last guy who was in charge of this company (and nearly destroyed it), had the idea that they should just lower prices and knock off sales. He’s obviously an idiot, as people look forward to certain times of the year when they can count on sale prices being in full swing!

If you are out shopping for the Holidays, keep in mind the retailmenot has a coupon $ 10 off on $ 25 dollar purchase. I was able to us it today with my wife on a gift.

I’ve had some pretty good experiences here. I mostly always find what I’m looking for because there is just soooo much. So instead of hoping from little store to little store looking for something, I just get what I need quickly.
Nancy from the underwear section is soooo nice. Today I was completely out of it, I felt really bad and was really slow. She took care of everything for me. I had my coupons and didn’t even know how to use them but she helped me sort everything out. I would have taken forever and she was really nice and understanding. I did have a bad experience here with another lady though, she was an American blond older lady, can’t remember her name. She asked my mother to open her bag when leaving the dressing room. They are not allowed to do that, don’t let them do that to you. Upstairs at the home department area, an Asian lady, I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name, she is so nice and helpful. There was an Asian guy though that works there that followed us everywhere and I mean everywhere. The nice Asian lady was already attending us so why was this guy stalking us throughout the store? I mean a lot of people work there and I’m sure people have had different experiences but I speak of my own experience. The manager of the bottom part is nice and understanding.
A great place to find clothing, not too pricey, not too cheap. I do recommend this place.

JCP is well, JCP. Am I expecting any more than what it always has been? NO! That’s why I like it.
Of course they offer everything from clothing to furniture to candles to shoes and y’kno what? Their dress selection isn’t half bad. Why pay over $ 200 for a dress you will only wear once? I see no reason.
They also offer Moissanite diamonds which are the equivalent to diamonds out of the earth but friendly because they are MAN MADE. Divine and affordable I always stop by to see what they have. Hey, a girl loves some sparkle doesn’t she?
All in all JCP is a solid place to find some good deals. I like it and I am not ashamed to say so!
