Tool department is excellent here. Was looking for a certain hand tool and the staff was courteous enough to go to the back and find what I needed. Drove all the way from homestead as the the Sears employees in Cutler Ridge were too lazy to look past their computers. Very happy with my experience here.

Just came to buy glasses after a 8 store search. They had the cheapest and perfect fit for my face. Can’t say much about it other than, DON“T take the elevator… Smells like teen spifart.

Mediocrity is what comes to mind when you go to this store. Just not what you expect from Sears — And when it comes to service, it is simply appalling — the cashiers are not trained at all in customer service, no attempt is made to make eye contact or acknowledge the customer. Last time I was there, I come up to the register with 4 out of town guests, none of them spoke Spanish, but the cashier insisted on speaking Spanish to them, it may be that English is not required to work in this store in the United States. It was a cash transaction, the cashier took the 20 bill and put it on the register, rang up the item and made change, but she didn’t bother to hand the change to the customer, rather, just threw it down on the counter– Maybe it is me, but I find this attitude and behavior, completely inappropriate and borderline offensive. One might be tempted to dismiss this incident as an isolated fluke, but no, it is a clear reflection of how this store is run, it is not a coincidence that after several reviews, they average 2 stars. No wonder why this store is half empty all the time.

Meh. I don’t so much mind Sears stores, but have never really been impressed much by the selection here at this one. In fact, the only reason I’ve actually bought anything here is because I had a gift card that I had to use. As far as men’s clothing, the selection is limited and even when I do find something I like, they rarely have it in anything smaller than an XL. I did buy a few dress shirts here once that were clearly marked«wrinkle-free», but they still need to be ironed and after about an hour of wearing them it looks like I slept in them the night before. In general, you’ll also find some very long checkout lines at the cash registers. I’m surprised they haven’t simply added more cashiers, as there never seem to be enough, especially on the weekends. Sears in general also loses credibility because, when I checked out here last time, they gave me a slip of paper that explained that I could review the purchase I just made for a chance at $ 2,500. As it turns out, after you go onto their site, spend several minutes searching for the product you bought, then spend the time to review it, you are then taken to a screen where they ask you to register and give them your address, e-mail and phone number. So in other words, they try and lure you in with a contest to win a $ 2,500 gift card, and what they’re really trying to do is get your personal information so they can start bombarding you with advertisements and offers. No thanks!

Two stars for overall selection and quality of service at this store — yes, I’ve experienced much better. However, it may be worth a look if you know exactly what you want. While looking for athletic shoes last week, I discovered that they had bunch of running shoes on sale — prices as low as $ 35 on models that were going for $ 90 — $ 135 in other stores and on the internet. Some customers who were there while I was looking found shoes that they ended up buying. Unfortunately, the store didn’t have any of the models I wanted in my size. And there was only one sales agent on duty for both the athletics shoes section and the regular shoes section around the corner, so the wait to be served and then for the sales agent to return after she brought out each pair of shoes to try was painfully long.

I personally, do not like Sears at all but, I needed bags for my vacuum cleaner and I can only buy them there. So we went during our lunch hour and we go in and look for them. This lady walks up to me to ask me if I need help and I say that I just need some bags and I ask her if the ones I picked are the correct ones for my vacuum cleaner. She looks at me, then looks at the bag and says«yes they are all the same» turns around and goes to talk to other employees who are standing around waiting for something to do… okay, I guess that, since she realized I’m not bying anything important, it’s not worth it to take care of me… w/e! I grab my stuff and ask her where I can pay. Without moving from her spot, she points at someone else and says«he can help you»…okay! w/e again… this very nice gentleman, Iry(yes, I ckd the spelling) took care of my purchase very corteously without caring of how small it was. Then hubby had a question about a wine cooler and he gladly went to answer him. Because of this type of employee, the lady not Iry, is one of the reasons I refuse to go to Sears.

Jeez… OK. yes, I do speak Spanish but c’mon! EVENTHEANNOUNCEMENTS are in Spanish! This is a pet peeve of mine. A huge one. So fine lets get over the serious lack of English. Place is disorganized, staff overworked, or unhelpful. The guy who rang me up was the only one who even tried. Thanks! Its Sears, the selection is cheap & abundant, yes. Great for fillers. You know, those pieces you wear with your expensive staples? I found a cute blouse for work at $ 19. Will I come back? Of course. I do still have very fond memories growing up when Sears was THE place for the family to shop! I will come back when the pain in my jaw subsides from grinding my teeth due to the issues above.
