Everyone knows we love Gordon Biersch! But sad, sad, sad news, this place is closing. This was the best GB we had ever went to. It was Very nicely laid out! Shilalia was an awesome bartender as well, she made us feel so comfortable! The manager, and another bartender were great to us! I wish all of them the best!

Regretfully one of the worst food experiences we gave had in Miami. Food quality very poor. There were 5 of us and three meals were sent back. Beer was great. Avoid this place if you are hungry.

Great place for a late night happy hour. We loved the seafood artichoke dip but I wasn’t impressed with the southwest egg rolls. I got the Georgia Peach Martini which was tasteful and my boyfriend loved the chocolate cake for dessert!

Awesome happy hour daily!!! Came here on a Saturday to watch the UCF game. Place was pretty empty. Got a appetizer sampler with BBQ pork sliders(3) southwestern egg rolls(4) and a cup of garlic fries for $ 11 happy hour special! The beers are $ 1 off, signature cocktails are $ 5, and glasses of wine are $ 2 off! The happy hour runs 4 – 7:30 every single day! Rare to find a happy hour on the weekends!!! The food is very good, service was nice, and they played my game on their nice flat screens! Too bad I was the only knights fan there… I found some other fellow UCF grads at brother Jimmy’s! Definitely would come back! Just wish it was a little busier. Otherwise everything was fantastic!

Came here because of a really horrible experience with the Burger, Beer, and BBQ Bash. Hoping for the best based on Unilocalers reviews.

My girlfriend & I are both fanatics of the Original Cuban Mojitos, but it was our anniversary so we wanted to keep it classy and have a champagne toast. To our surprise, we found the perfect combination on their menu… a Champagne Mojito with crushed grapes! When we received our drinks we said a toast to us, shared & kiss and sipped away. This drink is fabulous!

Stopped in here on Tuesday for lunch. All Gordon Biersch tap beer was $ 2.50 a pint. Woo Hoo !!! Started with the special Filet Sliders($ 7). Was disappointed as there were only two. Tasty though. I has the Stuffed And Baked Chicken($ 15.95) and my other half had the Mediterranean Chicken($ 12.95). I found mine to be quite tasty, but my other half said her chicken was on the bland side. All in all, $ 2.50 Tuesday’s lunch was good stuff.

Disclaimer: It’s a brewery, I didn’t have any beer. It might have been a game changer. I did however eat the baja tacos, and ordered an appetizer from their seasonal share menu. The shrimp peach salsa was a miss. Frozen shrimp that were thawed a long time ago, stale chips, and barely enough actual ‘salsa’ to cover them with. It was cheap, so I didn’t complain. The steak baja tacos were really good though, I liked the spicy kick too! The housemade root beer was decent. Service was ok. If I was serving the table I would want to know why all the shrimp was left behind(the best part?!). We ate on the patio so we could bring our puppy along, so that part was nice and convenient.

Good food, good location as we were staying at the Four Seasons and wanted to watch some Chicago Hockey!(Don’t talk mess, we have the trophy.) We were technically in the bar service area and the server was great, check my tip on Foursquare for names. They kindly changed the tv channel for us, and granted an insane food request for me. I have been on this fresh mozzarella kick and noticed they offered it on a flatbread option and asked for just a side of it. This is obviously a bit crazy, and I was drinking so clearly(they hope) I was not having some weird pregnancy craving. The manager came out to verify to make sure I got exactly what I wanted as they had fresh chunks and also shredded. He was great. I highly recommend eating/drinking/catching the game here!

LOVE this place!!! Everything I’ve ever had from here is really good. My fiancé ordered steak frites … Meat was tender fries were crispy sauce had some kick. I got chicken & shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. Shrimp was OUTSTANDING! Garlic mashed was really tasty. Not a big fan of the sauce on the chicken but if you’re a fan of sweet sauce you’d love it. The service was PHENOMENAL! Especially our server Victoria. Keep doing what you’re doing Gordon Biersch! Only negative, parking SUCKS!!!

Blahhh!!! I walked to Gordon Bierch from my hotel for takeout and was incredibly disappointed. First, I had to wait to be greeted. I think they were hostessless for the evening. I had to order at the bar and was surrounded by a few overly intoxicated guys watching the basketball tournament. I ordered a veggie platter(4 sides) which I realize may not be their specialty but my food was TERRIBLE! My grilled asparagus was way overcooked and dry, the kale quineoa was awful. It tasted more like warm chewy coldslaw. I would recommend this place.

Ok, so I’ve heard about Gordon’s for some time now. Driven by quite a few of them but finally decided to give this place a try. The service was just okay and the food the same. We waited quite a while just to even be acknowledged. Luckily the place had quite a few tv’s to keep us entertained. I do give the craft beers two thumbs up though. Maybe I’ll come back for some apps and more of their craft beer to watch a game. Wait a sec, with all of the places right around the corner in Brickell, probably not.

I have simply decided this place is just not worth the time anymore. After the last experience my friends and I had at the location in Atlanta, I thought I’d give it one more shot. Stopping in this Miami location for a quick bite before hopping on a three-day cruise, I actually ordered the very same thing I did last month in Atlanta. Why I did that I’ll never know, because the food this time was just as bland. I ordered the taco appetizer dish, which despite being an appetizer really is filling at four tacos. While being enough to make me feel full, the meat is dry and not very flavorful. The concept is good but doesn’t anywhere near stand up to what it promises on the menu. It’s a shame — the presentation on both the menu and the plate are good, but in my opinion the quality of food/taste just doesn’t deliver. I stand firm on the position that I’ll never patron this place again. Boo…

Food and service were very good. The beer sampler is good. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgable. Very large selection on the menu. We both had seafood which was very good. Portions aren’t huge which these days is a good thing.

Could I put 0 star? Planned on having dinner there but FAIL. Bad welcome, restaurant is almost empty with a light sound in the background from all the different TVs on, a few people are talking loudly, it’s dark and gloomy and it looks a dirty dinner with booths and decoration from the 50s. They sat us a some kind of weird booth at a corner, while tons of other were available but the host didn’t want us to seat at one of them. We were right by the cashier where the waiters were kind of flirting and joking with each other. Lame. We took off. Wrong atmosphere, wrong setting, wrong idea to come there. Total fail and I really don’t feel like trying it again.

Saturday night: EMPTY. The fact that they close at midnight probably has something to do with it. A Brickell restaurant closing at midnight is kind of disappointing. A better quality Denny’s, this restaurant saves itself with the fact that it’s a brewery. I enjoyed the sampler. I also sampled two of their desserts. Very average and cold. Like right out of the freezer, finally seeing the light of day. I didn’t try the food and I was glad for that once I saw everyone’s plates come in — -they looked like MacCaulay Culkin’s brother… ie. a ghost of the real thing. The plates look vacant. I almost spotted tumbleweed run across them. Overall, not impressed. But if you for some reason absolutely need to come here, sit outside.

IF I LIKEDBEER, or burgers, or sports, I’d probably like Gordon Biersch much better, but I don’t, so for me it’s just okay. My friend got a beer, I got a margarita, and we shared artichoke hearts, a hummus and goat cheese salad, and an order of garlic fries. The beer was a huge hit and the garlic fries were amazing. We ate every last one. The artichoke hearts were fried, so after the first couple of bites they quickly cooled off and got yucky and soggy. The hummus salad was not appealing at all: a handful of greens, with a big loose spoonful of hummus slapped on it. It looked gross, and it was obvious that Gordon Biersch is not about the health food. Here’s what I like about Gordon Biersch: the booths with high sides. You can see the TVs mounted high on the walls, and you can have a relatively private conversation with the people at your table, and even though lots of people are being loud and having fun, you still have a sense of intimacy. Why is it that places with healthy, fresh food generally have tables in bare, sparse surroundings and places with cozy, comfy seating have heavy, greasy food? I want good food in a fun place, please.

Herr Gordon warum hasst du mich? It’s the start of a new month, so I will start with the positive. I caught up with friends here for a welcome happy hour. The sesame seed chicken wings were still awesome(I’ll be adventurous one of these days and try something else). The bbq sauce that came with the fries was hot, spicy hot that I actually sweat a little bit. My after dinner cappuccino was yummy as well, right down to the whip cream frosting. BUT… My mojito tasted like something was missing, such as alcohol. It was a little too watered down. Not only that, I was saddled with the 18% automatic tip. Come on guys, don’t go that same route. You’re just proving my theory about how automatic tip is inversely proportional to service and quality of drinks. Just because of that I have to give you two stars — because I’VEEXPERIENCEDBETTER!
