Great please just a little off the beaten path from crazy South Beach Ocean Drive. Great service, great homemade pasta, and authentic pizza oven. Very cool décor inside especially the way they store the wine bottles. Must check out the sinks right outside the bathrooms. Great service and everything about our meal was A+!

Perfect experience in all ways. First, the food is outstanding. But the service is also fantastic. So many places in Miami and South Beach have good food, but not great people. However, Cibo clearly hires great people. We got to celebrate our anniversary by seeing the two story wine area and hanging out with the person who flies around on a harness getting the wine. Totally cool gesture by the restaurant. Come here for great Italian food and an awesome experience! Must do in Miami/SoBe

I had gone to the Cibo in Gables & was hoping SOBE’s would be better but it wasn’t any better. We had a large group and they did not inform us upon making the reservation about the 5 card policy that they have for large parties(that they cannot split the bill and can only divide it with 5 cards.) The service was terrible even though we had two waitresses, and one waitress yelled at us twice address us as ‘guys’ in order to get our attention to serve us cheese on our meals. The music was too loud and the room was extremely hot. The group of 16 of us are absolutely appalled and disappointed with our faulty experience this evening.

We went to the Fort Lauderdale location and the service & food was amazing! So we thought we would try the south beach location… We were very disappointed! The service was horrible, we had to call every other person to get a drink or extra silverware because we never saw our waitress! When we didn’t order alcoholic drinks we felt the service turned bad and were not treated as other tables. BEWARE!!! This week we saw our credit card statement and the waitress added extra funds for her tip that she did not deserve and that we did not authorize!!! We are calling American Express and that is fraud!!!

This place is amazing. Wonderful staff and they where so open and welcoming to having my small dog inside! My little dog was very well behaved and stayed inside his carrier right next to my seat(not on the floor) and everyone was so nice and sweet about having a dog inside a restaurant. My dog and I will definitely be dining at this high class establishment again. Ned gives this two laws up!

Had my mother’s 90th birthday celebration here. Excellent service. There were 15 in total from Paris, Switzerland, California, NYC and South Beach. Everyone loved it. We had a private room, receiving excellent service. Menu is so large that everyone can find something they like. In fact the problem is choosing! At the end of the evening we were treated to the wine angel, a perfect ending for a wonderful evening. Thank you Cibo. I will not hesitate to have another party here!

This is a beautiful and spacious restaurant decked out in earth tones and exposed structure. The booth seating is also super comfy. On to the food… We tried the grilled octopus salad 4⁄5 Americano pizza 4⁄5 White wine sangria 4⁄5 — delightfully refreshing and crisp Ceasar salad 3⁄5 — left a lot to be desired. Maybe change up the dressing Tiger shrimp 3⁄5 was just okay Cannolis — 3⁄5 nothing special I’d definitely come here again if in the MIA area.

I loved loved this place in Miami! Went with a group of friends and the restaurant is spacious and has very modern décor. Our waiter was so helpful and kind — he helped us with our wine selection and when we were deciding between entrees. The pasta and pizza is homemade and was absolutely delicious. The wine is all in the center of the restaurant and you can watch an employee go up and down on a rope getting the wine which was. interesting? Service and food were great! Highly recommend if you’re in Miami.

I live in the neighborhood and I’ve been here 3 – 4 times. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious and rooftop lounge area is pretty Kool. The wine angel thing is somewhat cheesy but whatever. Food is mediocre. Nothing really blows your mind. Except the bread… Delicious. However, they do have an awesome wine list by the glass and bottle. That’s the only reason I go there. The bar seats are ridiculous. Go see for yourself, whoever thought of that should never design anything for a restaurant again. Now the service. If you can even call it that. So so so bad. You sit at the bar and they either intentionally ignore you, or glance at you and then ignore you again. So you pretty much have to waive your bartender down. I’ve never had an occasion where I have been offered a wine list or a menu. They just kind of stare at you until you ask. Aren’t you a wine bar?! Give the damn thing to every guest. Then you pick your wine and have to wait again until they come back which usually takes a good amount of time. So in about 20 mins you have your glass of wine. I get it, it’s Miami and service sucks almost everywhere. Greeting your guest, making eye contact, and offering a wine and food menu is pretty basic. Get it together because it’s annoying. Two stars for ambience and wine list.

Great food. Amazing TV’s in bar area. This place is trendy. Don’t show up in beach attire. Music is playing over speakers in background. Neat restrooms that are upstairs. Nice outside seating too.

Beautiful location south of 5th street on SoBe. Small outdoor dining area, large inside dining area. I went for the Easter Sunday Buffet, it was large and had more than enough options. The Bartender was quick, friendly, and attentive and it just needs to be said: the staff are all attractive. It must be a job requirement ;0) I say go!

I had visited the Cibo location in Coral Gables, but I must say Sobe is def much more impressive. The hanging lights, the massive wine cellar, high ceilings and unique décor makes this place pleasant to the eye and a good conversation starter. Unfortunately, we couldn’t visit the rooftop bar area since it was closed for a private party but will keep in mind for next time. During this visit we tried the bruschetta, grilled octopus salad and calzone. Dishes were well executed and the service was top notch. Be sure to check out the swinging girl inside the wine cellar… cool lil attraction. I think u can pay to go inside the wine cellar and have your picture taken. Cibo is a cool spot, away from the Sobe Madness, intimate and cool vibe.

Once again, great food. Must try the seafood ravioli! Usually ravioli isn’t high on my list because it’s rarely stuffed well enough, but Cibo has perfected their ravioli!

Beautiful décor is what strikes you first at any Cibo location and the South Beach does not fail. There is outdoor seating not just in front of restaurant but there’s a great rooftop lounge area for some cocktails. The indoor seating area has a bar and high top on the lower level and main dining room has beautiful chandelier décor. Came here for brunch, apparently there is a hot groupon for this brunch so making reservations was absolutely necessary as I heard the hostess say no walk ins were acceptable. That being said Saturday was surely busy for brunch. The brunch ranges from a large selection of anti pasta of breads, cheeses oysters and cold cuts. They have several fruit platters to choose from ranging for different type of melons and mixed berries. There is a dessert selection from tiramisu to cakes and pies and little shot glasses of dessert if you are able to fill your tummy in more in the end. I do love this brunch because it has more lunch items then the typical fried breakfast foods you get. There is a omelette station and they have bacon and sausage by there in silver storage area so don’t miss it. The fingerling potatoes were by far the best I had in a long time next to the breakfast station. No to far there is a salad bar and some pasta you may try also chicken and a carving station as well. Top it off with a personal pizza made in the brick fire oven this place rocks for brunch. Bottom line this place is great brunch despite that it does not offer bottomless mimosas. They do offer half off bottle of select wines and prosecco for $ 18 bucks to get that mid afternoon buzz! My best advice take a stroll along South Pointe Park after you indulge in some gluttony at Cibo.

One of the best brunches I’ve been to in Miami. They have different stations offering omelettes, cheese and salami, meats, desserts and fruits. The omelette station is a must, the guy behind the station is hilarious and friendly. You don’t have to awkwardly stare at him as he makes your omelette because he’ll have you cracking up the whole time. I was not a big fan of the meat station. The meat didn’t have much flavor but since it’s brunch and not dinner, I’ll forgive them. Don’t forget to save room for dessert! The dessert station was my favorite and also a must stop if you have a sweet tooth like me. They have a variety of sweets but my favorite one was the chocolate cake. The waiters are quick to refill mimosas as well and clear out any plates from the table. I did get the chance to go back for Lobster Tuesday but I was not really impressed(hence the missing fifth star). I would say if you want to go to Cibo, brunch would be your best bet.

I recently attended my bf’s company holiday party at Cibo. I really liked it and would love to come back! Ambiance: Cibo is a LARGE venue with an airy modern ambiance. It’s 3 floors with elevators and an awesome roof deck. The ceilings are lofty and there is a large bar area downstairs. Cibo also boasts a large wine list, with the wine bottles displayed all the way up from the first to the third floor. The bartender gets on an aerial harness to get the bottles down. Food: I tried many of the appetizers and passed entrees. It was delicious! Here are some of the stand outs: Pizza– amazing wood oven pizza! I especially liked the veggie pizza which came with peppers, olives and tomatoes Penne pasta with a light tomato sauce Seared ahi tuna Braised short rib with polenta Bruschetta Cibo is located in the South of 5th neighborhood in Miami Beach. I’ve heard they have a great brunch and would love to go back to try it!

Our group of 8 girls came here on a rainy Sunday night and we got completely pampered in carbs, meat and and booze. It was such a wonderful shift from the weekend experiences of very small plates, slow service and $$$$. Dining in large groups, it’s hard to tell how many appetizers to order. Too small and the group of hungry girls become half drunk vultures waving knives around and it’s not pretty. Too big and we get too full before our entrée and stop drinking. ;) Cibo’s appetizers were absolutely huge. You could stop here, order a great bottle of wine, and be able to start a fun night properly fueled but not too full. The octopus salad(a popular item), the proscuitto and buratta(face-planting in buratta is my favorite pastime), the cured meat boards were all ample and absolutely delicious. Could definitely feed a crowd. The pasta dishes were also large enough to feed two(or bring home to eat later cold from the fridge). The gnocci was some of the softest, freshest I’ve ever had(maybe I’ve only had it frozen from Trader Joe’s, don’t judge me). I had the crudo and it was citrusy and fresh. I can’t comment on the pasta but those who could enjoyed it very much. The icing on the Italian cake(panforte? We were a bit nutty) was the ~wine angel~ who, attached to the ceiling by her hips, plucked our wine from the ceiling with the greatest of ease and toasted our guest of honor with prosecco with her toes in the air. Confused by this paragraph? It’s worth checking out to see what I mean. Along with the ample portions, wine angel, great wine list and helpful service, the place alone deserves it’s own mention. The bathroom sinks are worth a mention, along with it’s walls of canned goods and the blending of a cozy yet modern space with private booths. Definitely try when interested in Italian at the very end of South Beach!

BRUNCHREVIEW: Valet parking available, which eliminates parking hassle, $ 10. Arrived with a reservation and was greeted and seated promptly, hostess was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, my pictures don’t do it justice. My 4 year old just loved the fixtures hanging from the ceiling. Our waitress was prompt and knowledgable. We were given a brief overview of brunch station layout, as well as discounted pricing on drinks(50%off special). Considering that I am expecting, and my husband was driving, we opted for just regular water. General manager also introduced himself, and was very hands on. Welcoming everyone, attending to tables, checking on food display, etc. FOOD: My favorite was the omelette station! The gentleman working there was very nice, and interactive. Reviewed today’s special, and told us we could also«build our own». I had the veggie and husband went with special(all meats) we both loved them! Aside from omelette station, they had a choose your pasta and sauce station, salad station, a build your pizza station, several cuts of meats and cheeses, breads, fruits, raw seafood, a lots and lots of desserts. I am sad about not being able to eat the raw seafood, which is always my favorite. Husband did enjoy all there was, and was very pleased. His favorite: beef with mushroom Few notes: the cooked seafood near pasta could have been a bit more fresh. I think it’s location takes away from it, as most don’t realize it’s inside the chafer. Perhaps setting it elsewhere or having the chefs behind pasta counter bring it up, would be helpful. Also, for flow purposes, I would place dessert lastly, vs between cuts and cheeses. All in all, great experience! Will be returning!
