Came in for lunch today. I liked Mistral a bit but was excited a new venue opened across from my office. The waitress (maybe even owner) was nice. however the service was lacking. To the point where we would have empty glasses of water and she would fill the waters of other tables but skip us. I had to wave her down and she apologized and said that her waitress was out sick so I can understand but as a owner, she shld know how to wait on her customers. The place looks just as mistral did but now with more luscious plants which was a nice touch. The food was ok. I had the lasagna and it was good, I’ve had better though. The place isn’t too pricey for the sofi neighborhood but not cheap at all. I’m not sure I would come back or not. Maybe if I get sick of the other local spots and feel the need too try something new on the menu.

Delighted to have stumbled upon this intimate Italian eatery on our weekend trip to Miami. Rossella brings her love, warmth and joy to her restaurant, and I swear you can taste it in the food too! We dined outside, and I enjoyed the spaghetti with tomato sauce — made from her mom’s recipe (from Rome). The flavor was subtle yet rich, sophisticated not flashy. I have never been to Italy, but I am willing to bet it was one of the most authentic Italian meals I have had. Best of all, Rossella’s kind spirit infused our experience making it one of the most memorable meals of the trip.

I absolutely adore this intimate, charming and quaint little restaurant with outdoor seating. It reminds me of a restaurant in upstate New York. With all the plants and antiques. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and Rosella the owner is an adorable friendly person.

We enjoyed Café Mistral after Rossella took it over, and we very much like it now that it’s branded as Rossella’s Kitchen. It’s a relatively small and intimate setting, and Rossella herself ensures that every diner gets personal attention. The food and service are superb, and a great value compared to the many high end restaurants in the neighborhood. We enthusiastically recommend it!
