What do you expect? Quick chicken plate at a cheap price. How could you give this a bad review?

I’m totally bothered by this particular place… On Monday I ordered a LARGE deluxe chicken chop chop… Only to receive the regular size plate. Not to mention that it took them over 2 Hours(not even exaggerating) to deliver the food. We called the manager on duty that same day to complain about the delay and mistake in order… She wanted to make up for the mistake of my order(amongst others in my group) and being 2 hours late on delivery… She stated that my next meal would be FREE because of the mistake and that my colleagues would receive 20% off. Today I call them back and to place my order for my free meal… Only to get another manager to say — it was free delivery not free food. Are you kidding me??? So basically, you kept the difference of my money for something I paid for and did not receive. Blamed on a girl that was(according to them) in training and that’s why the order was incorrect. And on top of that you don’t honor what was promised to me… Never ordering from them again. I have never had problem with chicken kitchen before… However, I will NEVER order from here again. KEEPTHECHANGE! You lost a a customer — I do not recommend this place for delivery orders.

As far as Chicken Kitchens go, this one is just OK. The location of the restaurant although in the heart of Brickell is next to the boarded up, former Latin American Grill. For a while, I thought the Latin American restaurant would be knocked down but that was over three years ago. Anyways, the product at this location is always ehhh. My go-to is the bazooka chop-chop which is just the Mexican chop-chop with guacamole. The staff always looks miserable to be there and I think it reflects in the food. The grilled chicken decently grilled is shamelessly measured out in a small cup and then dropped upon the bed of rice. If requested, the staff member may relucatantly give the extra pieces from the breast that didn’t fit in their pre-measured cup. I do genuinely like chicken kitchen but this location just falls short of the franchise standard I grew up loving. I cannot verify, but I also believe the costs per dishes are more expensive than other locations. I suppose the rent in Brickell is high but prices should be consistent throughout all locations. This location could definitely serve as the example of what the franchise location should not look like on «Undercover Boss.» A little bit of re-branding, refurnishing, and returning to what people love about chicken kitchen could definitely return this location to glory. Despite all of that, I would return to Chicken Kitchen Brickell because there’s just nothing like it around if you want a quick-healthy filling lunch or dinner.

I really, really love Chicken Kitchen. There will always be a special place in my heart for my deluxe chop chop with extra curry mustard… The location of Chicken Kitchen is not ideal. It’s kind of buried into a side street, next door to a boarded up and abandoned restaurant that might actually be a crack house. But nothing could dare keep me away from my beloved CK. The employees here are super nice. They let that little black measuring cup overflow with chicken as they concoct my special dinner and always offer extra sauces. Above all, the price really can’t be beat. Chicken Kitchen never disappoints and I find myself craving that yellow rice pretty often. Always a safe choice for lunch or dinner!

Foods is good! Parking is an issue which I could overlook if the restaurant was clean. Tables are always dirty here!

I figured I would ignore all the terrible reviews and order delivery anyways… Unfortunately I didn’t even make it that far. I called and was put on hold multiple times until a girl finally asked me for my phone number 15 min later… I was trying to give it to her but she kept asking so I asked her if she could hear me… She said«yeah I can hear you perfectly fine all you do is keep talking» and I told her(still being nice) that I wasn’t talking, I was trying to give her my phone number… She then said«can you just stop talking and give me your phone number»… So I hung up. Moral of the story: If this girl actually has a job, I can only imagine how the rest of the staff behaves. Who raised you?!

Staff is extremely rude and uneducated. I couldn’t believe the way they spoke to me when I asked simple questions like«what is the price of the regular and the large?» They answered«huh?» I clearly spoke and I don’t have an accent! They also said«what do you mean?»(With an attitude) it’s almost like they are being inconvenienced by handling my order. The manager was the person speaking to me, by the way… Scary thought! I will never do business here again!

This is hands down the worst Chicken Kitchen to order from! I wouldn’t suggest this location to anyone! Over 1.5 hours for delivery is absurd. Terrible, especially having so much competition is the area. Never again :(

This Chicken Kitchen is conveniently located for those who work in Brickell and serves as a good lunch option. Its pretty large inside so there’s plenty of seating for dine-in. It’s kept relatively clean. Chicken Kitchens are not as good as they used to be, or maybe the other chicken places are just better. My food here was served lukewarm, which is not ideal. They measure out the chicken in a little cup before portioning it in your bowl. Overall, I was not blown away by the experience(not that I was expecting too much) but would come back for a quick lunch if I happen to be in the area.

This is my go to place for a quick, healthy, and delicious meal. I always order the Cuban chop chop with guacamole. The large chop chops are are huge, and enough for two people to share. The chipotle and curry sauces are delicious and pack great flavor a but they are very high in calories and fat grams, so enjoy judiciously. This is a hotspot for week day lunch time because lines get crazy long. Otherwise, there’s usually no wait. There are tables inside and outside. I don’t usually sit outside because it’s not that clean and I get eaten alive by mosquitoes. The staff are always super friendly and helpful.

Just moving to the area and unpacking I think we ate here a total of 12 – 15 times in the past few weeks for a healthy quick bite. Today I was completely embarrassed by a worker who told me my small service dog could not be with me inside. I explained to him he was a service dog and I could provide my ID card for his services and he just rolled his eyes and told me I’m not blind it’s not a service dog. I was very upset especially since the restaurant was busy. It’s no ones place to say my service dog is not needed when he helps to alert me before a serious event occurs. No one even noticed him in the restaurant or was bothered. I will most definitely never be returning or ordering take out again from this location. Completely rude and unnecessary.

Chicken Kitchen is a healthy, fresh and delicious choice in Brickell. I like to get the Cuban chop chop salad. It’s amazing. The chipotle and the curry sauce are really good. Customer service is good. This is a great takeout place with a good price,

This Chicken Kitchen by far has the worst customer service. I have given this place several chances and they always mess up something. If one time its not poor customer service its an incorrect order. I called again today to place a delivery order. After being hung up on twice I was finally able to place my order. After giving the guy my credit card number he hung up on me without confirming or letting me know he got my number successfully. I called back and he said, «You gave me the number, you’re good so I hung up». Really!!!

I love chicken kitchen and I am addicted to that mustard curry sauce. This location however not their best. Not the friendliest staff and hours are weird. not open sundays? anyway, I learned how to make the curry sauce at home(mix mayo and mustard untill you get the yellow color right, ad water for the desired consistency and then just add curry powder to taste, voila!) and I grill my chicken in my BBQ. best chop c hop ever!

Possibly the worst and most rude experience I’ve ever encountered anywhere. I got one of their bowls and the person preparing it proceeded to put a tablespoon amount of guacamole in my bowl(for a 1.59 extra charge). When I told her that can’t be the amount I’m paying for she said it was and then got very argumentative!!! I was about to pay and she would not back down from her position(she should be working in a prison cafeteria). With the food in front of me at the register and her wanting to charge me over 10 dollars for this crap I said — you can keep the meal and walked out. The ONLY reason why this place gets customers is that it’s in the middle of a bunch of office buildings. If there were a chipotle next door this place would be OUTOFBUSINESS.

I mostly place take out orders from Chicken kitchen since the line is either nonexistent or so long it gets to the entrance door. Every time I’ve called I’ve been put on hold… and I’m fine with it, although I know most times they are not that busy. Despite I ask for the same thing every time(Small Chop Chop Deluxe w/Extra chicken), the final price fluctuates +/-$ 2 every time and the pita bread sometimes smells funny or is hard as a rock. I keep on coming back though because I crave their 29.8g of fat mustard curry sauce. Grrr… I never thought I would say this but I wish Brickell had a Chipotle because I know they care about their customers and provide better customer service.

Ok. Real talk. I love the Chicken Kitchen. I can walk to it from my apartment, wait in no line, get my food and grub up. Let me just get straight to the issues: 1. The location Blows more than a cheerleader her junior year of high school. Originally I thought the location was shut down before I eventually realized it was open. 2. Don’t call it a salsa bar if you only have 1 salsa. The salsa bar, to me, seems quite unsanitary. I’m no germ nut, but I think twice before getting a salsa. 3. It’s never busy so I worry about how fresh the food is. 4. Nothing bothers me more than there being no line in a restaurant and having to wait on someone actually coming to take my order. The staff isn’t always attentive. I mean it is what it is to them, but to me I’m hungry as a mother so feed me or feel my wrath. 5.The dude on their ads who looks like a buster Bill Nye the Science Guy. What were you thinking? Was Carrot Top’s brother not available? He has to go. Has to. Like yesterday. It sad that there’s so many things wrong with this place because if it got itself together it’d be a really great place to go for a healthy meal. There isn’t really anything like it in the area. The pricing is decent and like I said, the food is good. I have faith.
