I work in a prison and this place make prison seem clean. This is hell. It is unsafe dirty would be a compliment and there are actually holes and severe structural issues. If u have any problems the sweet girl at the desk will pretend she does not speak English although she spoke great English to you moments ago. I could go on for hours about the hell we experienced in this shanty but if u have read any review and still would stay here you doing so for the challenge. It is as if they are trying to be the world most dangerous dirty filth hell hole to get get credibility that way as if it’s life a dare to stay at this place. If you stay hear good luck and please don’t bring any of your family. I stayed here with my fiancée for one night and I stood at the door while she sleept on trash bags we put on the bug infested bed as u keep the mice at distance from making noise and I constantly had to push junkies off out door as they would rest outside. Have fun!

Horrible horrible and price gouging as well. Everything is terrible in this hotel, the rooms, the staff, the tv. Of course you will probably only stay here if you are stranded in Miami airport or don’t know better. They take advantage of desperate MIA travelers with almost $ 200 rooms which would be barely acceptable at $ 40. The reception desk told me when I called from airport that they are two minutes away. It is twenty minutes away. Most other airport hotels are the same distance, so why lie? Next lie: the shuttle will be there in two mutes(twenty). Receptionist very rude to the customer ahead of me. I can’t wait to see what breakfast is like. The room is spacious and the bed is decent, to give them their due.

Don’t stay here. This place is disgusting. I am embarrassed to admit I stayed here. We needed to stay for the night before the cruise. We got our room, it smelled horrible. Not sure if it was the humidity or urine. Within a few minutes a bug bit my foot. I asked to get switched to a different room. Of course, they said they were sold out. I felt like I was in a third world country. They ended up switching me to another room with 2 twin beds when it was 2 adults and 2 kids. Oh well, it was late we traveled all the way from San Diego with toddlers. So we made the best out of it. Making sure the boys didn’t touch anything and showered with our swim shoes. In the morning, the do have breakfast. Bagels, toast, and waffles. The lobby is decent and clean but the rooms are horrible. I guess you get what you pay for. Just expected more like a motel 6.

Do I have to give it one star??? This place was awful. Our«room» smelled like urine. Please do not go here!!! We couldn’t even stay and opted to sleep in the airport. The place looked infested with bedbugs and mold. Don’t be deceived by the pictures of the newly renovated lobby– the rooms are completely different!!!

My godbrother & I arranged for the hotel’s van to pick us up from the airport. The van NEVERSHOWEDUP. We called the hotel and they were actually quite rude about it and told us to stick around the airport and wait. Seriously? You want us to stand around one of the US’ busiest airports and just *wait*? Needless to say after waiting for over 45 minutes, we eventually had to catch a cab-which normally isn’t a big deal, but if you’re not familiar with Miami’s cab zoning system, this can be a big problem. We had reserved our rooms at this hotel via and used our credit cards to hold the rooms. Immediately upon our arrival at the hotel, the very unfriendly front desk clerk literally DEMANDED to see our credit cards(ummm lady don’t you want to see our ID’s too??). The front desk clerk immediately started charging our credit cards before she explained to us what exactly the hotel’s process was for checking in. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that the manager wouldn’t be in until two hours later(it was already 2pm); needless to say NOONE was at the front desk for hours after we checked in(I felt as if we were staying at the Bates Motel!). The interior of the hotel rooms leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms are very cheap looking and the rooms have a «dirty» look & feel to them, even after the maid cleans the room. The towels are hard enough to make you feel as if you’ve had a skin peel as opposed to actually drying off with a regular towel; I don’t care for the«sandpaper» feel of cheap hotel towels. You are literally given only one washcloth and one towel and you’re lucky if you can beg the maid to give you a bath towel to step on once you come out of the shower. Oh yes… the shower… let’s just say I kept my eyes peeled the entire time I showered. I felt as if something were about to crawl out of the pipes or under the door or out of the overhead air vents in the bathroom. Shower time should be relaxing, not reminiscient of a prelude to a horror movie! The locks on the door to our rooms were so basic, I think my 5 year old could have picked the lock with her library card. Needless to say I slept with my eyes open every night. Being that the hotel is so close to the airport, you hear the planes ALLDAYANDNIGHT. Plus you hear & see the traffic right outside your window as well. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is in walking distance to an IHOP(International House of Pancakes). This is the only thing that kept me from going postal and turning into the main character from the movie«The Shining» and killing everyone in the hotel. Somehow, the van was able to actually take us to the airport as we were leaving Miami. A horde of us were grouped together silently in the lobby, looking as if we were being led to our deaths at 4:45am. Suprisingly, the driver was very nice, courteous and fast, and even helped me with my bags. This hotel claimed to have a rental car service, yet half the time there was never anyone stationed at the rental car service counter. If you drove your own car, you actually had to PAY to use the hotel’s parking lot! The so-called gift store for the hotel was almost never open, and when it was, everything in it was overpriced. Do not stay in this hotel unless you truly enjoy living by the statement«you get what you pay for»!
