This place is called Rio Station now. But when I visited during a work trip, it was still Zeke’s Roadhouse. Regardless, both names sound like really bad amateur porn titles. As for the business itself, it offers a variety of brews, at a good price, and you could drink outside in a touristy patio area so the humidity can make your hair into a baby afro. The reason guys look so greasy in Miami is because you need some cement like hair product to hold your in place. My side swept bangs were not having it. It made me very emo(tional). The only downside to this spot is that they are very protective of their patio space. Allow me to put on my «Whiny Unilocaler» hat. Done and done. We were going to have a large client dinner of 15 people at the adjacent restaurant. About 13 people grabbed some beers at Zeke’s Roadhouse to deal with the hour long wait. A couple of members of the party ordered drinks from the neighboring restaurant and came to join the rest of us at the beer drinking table. Some Zeke’s Roadhouse staff member came around and told us outside drinks were not allowed. It was a bit annoying, as we had just brought 13 people to their business. I am sure you can allow two people with Jack and Cokes. Sometimes, in business and in life, you should make exceptions. But they wouldn’t budge. So the group pounded their beers, walked over to the restaurant, and ordered drinks while we waited for the table. They just lost hundreds of dollars in business since they wouldn’t make an exception. Allow me to take off my «Whiny Unilocaler» hat. Done and done. Come on Zeke’s, even the most shallow guy takes a fat girl home once in a while.

Update 6÷1÷14 Still a decent beer selection but now they have added food and they BBQ meat indoors with no ventilation hood, so if you want to sit at the bar or use the toilet you get a lung full of burning meat and smoke and your clothes smell like you’ve been camping. It’s actually really obnoxious. Original review: Still open but under new name«RIOSTATION» and management and a few tweeks, like you can actually run up a tab and pay by credit card and they don’t ID my Grandad anymore. A few less beers than before but added food which is decent and well priced for Lincoln Road. Beer is still 4 bucks a pop including tax. Yes, beer selection is slightly reduced but they sell craft beers at half the price than anyone else on South Beach. If you don’t really like beer(ie you drink Bud, Miller etc) they do have a small fridge of crappy American mass produced beers too, but then this probably is not the place for you. CHEERS!

This is probably by far one of my favorite places to go to when I come to south beach. I love the beer selection first of all & the set price of 4BUCKS! WHICHISAMAZING! You can go to any other beer joint in Miami and they will charge you 9 bucks for Tangerine Beer. Our servers were great and friendly, there was one girl who worked there on Friday night and she was a sweetheart! Will definitely come again! Love the vibe and atmosphere! Remember, CASHONLY.

I go to Zeke’s about 4 times a week so I guess you’d say I am a regular.(They are only open 5 days a week – closed Monday and Tuesday). I love me some good craft beer and Zeke’s has 100’s to choose from, all for only $ 4. If I were in any city in the word, I’d be looking for a place like Zeke’s— a good beer garden in a cool neighborhood with low prices — win, win, win!

I’ve visited Zeke’s perhaps 5x within the last 3 years. Unfortunately I never checked in bc I’m a bad Unilocaler sometimes but I give this place a 5 star rating. The only flaw is that its cash only but that’s probably how they keep their prices so low. It’s $ 4 beers any beer if I’m not mistaken. Which on the beach is unheard of. Their selection is extensive and well done. The inside is kinda tight and forces you to get to know your neighbor better. Some people may like that. Some may not. I prefer the outside seating and people watching. I will go back to Zeke’s whenever I get the chance.

**** 4.5 stars **** In a city that prides itself on excess, where Ferrari sightings are a daily occurrence and 50 foot yachts are de rigueur, Zeke’s stands out as a shrine to frugality(in relative terms, of course). With over 200 offerings in bottle, can, or draft, all at a consistent $ 4 a piece, this place makes deciding what to drink difficult, but in a very appealing way. Coming from DC, where hipsters have benchmarked crap like PBR at $ 3 in most places, these prices are an outright steal, especially when you peer carefully into the coolers( ) and find the gems that are hard to score in singles elsewhere. It has been mentioned many times, but it bears repeating again based on the number of inquiries I saw, that this is a cash only bar. There are multiple signs throughout the place, but folks seem to be oblivious to them(a shocker to bartenders out there, I’m sure). While I normally hate carrying any cash on me, I fortunately do at least keep $ 20 or so for emergency cab situations, so that made me a virtual kingpin at a bar this cheap. I got reprimanded for taking photos of the beer stock, but I at least managed to get a couple shots of the selection in before I had to put the camera away. Apparently it’s OK to take photos of the odd beach themed décor( ) though. I kicked off the evening here with a Weyerbacher Verboten, a favorite of mine for hot summer nights, as it’s a Belgian style pale ale, which means it gets all the wonderful crispness you expect and wonderful bright flavors from the Cascade hops, but also a bit of character from the yeast strain they use. It was the perfect choice for getting acclimated to the bar while I perused the rest of their selection and did a bit of people watching. I cozied up next to a couple U of M co-eds and listened to them tell stories of how the cheerleading team did some blah blah blah… and quickly got bored. Watching tourists was honestly more interesting, sorry gals. I grabbed a red ale on draft next, which I’ve unfortunately forgotten the name of, but it was quite nice and a brand I hadn’t seen before in our market. At this point I had had enough of the shuffling patrons moving in and out of the cramped space, so I opted to take advantage of the spacious patio area( ) just outside the bar. It seemed like you could just walk around with beer here anywhere you please, but the evening was nice after the rain storm earlier, the courtyard was ripe with eye candy, so I grabbed one of the only available tables at the time and began surveying the passersby, occasionally checking out the rather strange viewing party of a fashion show( ) featuring painted nude models. Only in Miami…

I LOVEZEKE’S! Best combination of selection and affordability. The staff behind the bar is friendly and knowledgeable. I particularly enjoy the rotating selection of draft beers they have, but the fridge case contains literally anything you could want! I’ve been coming here for over a decade(save the time period when they were closed) and remember when the beers were $ 3. I guess it’s unrealistic to expect that a place on Lincoln Road can keep the prices so low forever, but even at $ 4, it’s a fantastic deal! The inside is decorated eclectically but is very bright, so you might want to move the party outdoors. Also, make sure everyone has ID because they check!

$ 4 beer?! Can I get a Hallelujah? One of my boyfriends friend recently got a job and is moving to another state to make that dough so we went out celebrating– because now whenever someone gets a job, any job, there’s a reason to celebrate… or maybe it’s just our alcoholic selves. He led us to this place and boy oh boy was I happy when I got there. Unpretentious is right! I felt a bit too dressed up for this place so feel free to come in jeans and a tee. They are über strict with ID’s so kids, don’t try it. Don’t even think about it. He was with mine for about 30 seconds and I felt like I was guilty of presenting a fake. There’s a mix of a crowd which is nice and their selection of beer is on point. My boyfriend and I tried a couple of beers and a cider and though we both have totally different tastes when it comes to beers, he enjoyed his and I enjoyed mine. I’m sorry Zeke but I just HAVE to take a star off because of the seating area. Ladies, if you’re coming here, do yourself a favor and DON’T wear heels– the uncertainty of whether you’ll be standing up or sitting is too much. This is a great location to people watch– though i make more fun of people rather than just watch them but you get my drift.

$ 4 for a beer is good. Love the extensive choice and the low price. Don’t forget your ID or you won’t be able to get in.

All you need to know about Zeke’s can be summed up in 2 words– $ 4 beers!!! Truly nothing else needs to be said but I will expand for those«un-Zekefied.» Contrary to Lincoln Road’s notoriety for exorbitant prices, mediocre food, and weird beings, Zeke’s notoriety is for inexpensive beer and a laid back vibe. There is no club scene here, just a plain old bar where you walk up and order a beer and then proceed to stand around and pick the bartenders brain as to what beer two and three will be, or grab a table and people watch. They have tons of beers to choose from, and most of them from the craft variety which makes them even more amazing. Take cash or just walk outside and do a sing and dance routine along Lincoln and snag your $ 4 in no time!!!

On the beach, much less Lincoln Road, it’s a rarity to find a casual hangout spot with affordable drinks and even less, a respectable beer selection. Then there’s Zeke’s. Just wheel on over to find over 100 beers at $ 4 a pop… and nothing over that cost. What you should know is that they’re cash only and there’s no food. If you fancy a vodka tonic, this isn’t your spot. No hard liquor here. Winos need not apply either. For a beer and outdoor seating, Zeke’s is definitely where you and your buds will want to congregate.

WOW! the amount of beer. I’ve been here several times, and I’ll say my #2 favorite store on Lincoln Rd. Good price, good ambient and worth spending $ 30 and walk out drunk. I’ll be doing it again soo.

After walking around lincold rd, my friends and I decided to stop by and have a drink. …yes we got lost trying to find it… but the place is ok. A simple bar with lots of tables outside for people watching. I’m not really a beer kinda girl, but I do know all beers are $ 4, so that’s def a major perk for those who do! Laidback atmosphere, great location.

Choices… I am a fan of having choices and when you have such an incredible selection of beers to choose from, I really feel like I have a choice. One may think that I come here to have 10 different kinds of beer, wrong! I stick to my Abita when available and never more than 2. However, this is one of my go to places when we have out of town visitors and it is always a sure thing that there will be something for everyone. A privileged Lincoln Road location, surrounded by good food and plenty of people watching. This place is cool.

As an avid beer drinker, I was really excited to try Zeke’s. I’d never heard of it until I came across it on Unilocal, and after reading a good number of positive reviews, I was excited to try it. Zeke’s is totally unassuming, gritty, and even a little rundown, which I think is the look they’re going for. Tucked away in a tiny hole on Lincoln Road, it’s easy to miss despite how much it stands out among the other trendier restaurants that litter the area. Zeke’s offers something like two hundred beers, which is a definite plus if you’re in the mood to try something out of the ordinary(i.e., anything other than the Buds and Millers and Coronas that have overrun the Miami landscape). The bartenders were knowledgeable, which was perfect in that, when I decide to go somewhere with such an expansive beer list, I always have the bartender/server choose a beer for me: in my opinion, a great idea in that for all you think you may know about beer, there’s always someone who knows more than you do. I would say that the only cons keeping me from giving this place five stars are that they don’t accept credit cards(which is utterly ridiculous to me considering that it’s 2010. who even carries cash anymore?), and that, despite the fact that the bartenders know what they’re doing, they buy into that kind of holier than thou persona so prevalent in Miami where they actually seem annoyed to help you or answer questions. And while I understand that patrons can sometimes be annoying, I’m big on courtesy even if met with discourtesy. I abhor rudeness. Either way, you can’t shy away from a place like Zeke’s, especially if your devotion to beer is tantamount to that of a religious zealot.

Why am I a fan of Zeke’s –all beer $ 4 –200 beers to choose from –prime people watching location on Lincoln Rd –nice bartenders –did I mention $ 4 beers? Helpful hints –CASHONLY –MUSTHAVEID –come early if you want a seat outside, they fill up quickly and you must stalk people for a table when they are full… ’nuff said, Zeke… I *heart* you.

Over the past year or so, Zeke’s has stepped up its game. The beers are $ 4 instead of $ 3, but the selection and quality have been expanded. It used to be that yeah, Zeke’s had a lot of beer, but they were all imperceptible variations on the same fizzy yellow lager. No more, now you have options. There are some decent drafts from American craft brewers that will please even beer geeks. Plus, you can now even have your beer served in a real glass if you want. When I go here, I tend to be in an easy-drinking Anchor Steam kind of mood. Plentiful outside seating, always a plus. As you well know, the people-watching while sitting outside on Lincoln is second to none. 3.5−4 stars. Zeke’s is a different animal, you can’t even really compare it to the other beer bars in town.

Like the three stars it just got, this place is A-OK Large selection of beers but I have to say that I wasn’t impressed by what was available $ 4 for every beer makes me want to try a bunch of different styles which sounds like a great idea but I know after a while, after I found one that I really like, I’m going to wanna just stick to one … kinda reminds me of dating life
