I have been here at three different times and have had three different(but good) experiences. The first was during their opening, and I was very impressed with how they remodeled it from the days of the Laundry Bar. It feels very inviting — like you are in someone’s living room. I know a lot of reviewers mention the darkness of the interior, but on this night, they kept the lights on! The second visit was a late night visit and it was DARK and rather chilly inside. Even though the place was packed, the bartender was totally on top of things and the service was great. I was only drinking water, but he kept my glass filled, and my friends had no problem getting their drinks. I tried the happy hour last week and LOVED it! The drinks are all priced right(it’s a progressive happy hour, so the earlier you go, the better the deal!) and the bartended was fantastic! They have a great their specialty cocktail menu(lots of vintage cocktails like a «real» Hemmingway daiquiri, Singapore sling, and my favorite, the salty dog). When we commented to the bartender about how much we loved the cocktail menu, she pulled out the book that they use to create the menu, and we had a great time perusing through all of the classic cocktails. They keep the bar well stocked with the right ingredients to make great drinks and they are mixed right.

Went at night for music and drinks. Dancing was a bit difficult because of the way this place is laid out. Most of the dancing is crammed in the front. Pretty big place, crowd is mixed with hipsters, bears, some guys wearing leather, and lots of ladies. Otherwise, good place but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back again.

Eh. Just another south beach bar imho. Décor is just mediocre. The bathrooms were dirty, not much of a vibe. I went for girls night seeing as Miami does not have the best lesbian seen, at all. Buttttt unless you are into salsa dancing and a very typical Miami lesbian crowd, stay away. I would prefer Mova over this place. It is smoke free, thats one good thing!

721 is the type of bar I think you could end up waking up the next morning and wonder what you were thinking the night before. The place is super dark inside, so beware of alcohol goggles + super dark bar = scary morning after disaster.(Not from experience here, just saying… I’m too old for that crap now). Anyhow, I don’t know if this is every night since most nights I’ve rolled in here it’s been after 11, but I went for a friend’s birthday Saturday & vodka drinks were FREE until 11pm — KICKASS! So, that was awesome. The bartenders are pretty quick to get your drinks. Not the strongest pours ever, but who can complain when it’s free? The DJ plays good music, there are cushy couches to sit on. There is a pool table if you want to play. The bathroom situation, was definitely a situation last time I was there. It was like a circus back there anytime I tried to use it. In then end, I don’t think I ever went because of all the craziness… I think it’s just OK. Not where I would pick at random to go chill. However, if friends are going(& that vodka thing is always like that) I’m in without a grumble or a fight.

It was a fun time… for a gay bar. Good variety of the girls of the music world… madonna, rihanna, lady gaga and all the other hits from the late 90s-early 2000s.

So this bar used to be «laundry bar» I never really went there as I wasn’t a big fan of the place. Last night my cousin invted me and my boyfriend to join them for some drinks on a sunday night. The bar has been completely remodeled and has a very inviting motif, there is a pool table for those who want to play a little game, and they have 4 – 5 big screen TV’s. I even got to meet the owner which was pretty cool. The bar had about 20 – 25 people good crowd for a sunday night, the bartenders were very friendly and attentive, and the parking was good too(this is exclusive to Sundays of course). There is a taco restaurant right next door thats open late is you have the muchies. All in All I will return to the bar. Drinks were moderately priced about $ 8 for a black label.

Searched Unilocal for a bar to take an out of town friend to for happy hour. Found Bar721 — what a great choice! Bar 721 is first and foremost, too damn CUTE. The space is so well-designed with couches everywhere. Comfy corners to hang out and talk for hours with friends. All kind of music playing at a level that won’t ruin your hearing. Our bartender, Jeff, was a friggin’ pro. He was so friendly, didn’t rush us to order, talked us through a few options. He made a Pisco Sour… okay, okay — FOUR Pisco Sours… that I went to sleep dreaming about… Woops, got lost there reminiscing for a second. We’re alchies who needed to eat. Even though Bar 721 doesn’t serve food, we were allowed to bring our pizza in so we could still enjoy the benefits of Happy Hour. :-D Long story short, I can’t wait to get back to Bar 721. The vibe is right. Prices are decent. Ladies Bathroom is CLEAN! Wooo-hooo! * Hate to do it but had to hold back a star because pricing info on the website doesn’t match what it is when you arrive. Update please. Thanks! Also, just as an FYI, it’s located behind the north side of Lincoln Road, immediately west of the 17th Street Parking Garage. My friend and I got completely lost looking for this place — and we were sober! Doh!

Newly remodeled, this old laundry bar is bringing back effortless chic. This bar is a great meeting spot with happy hour prices round the clock. Get ready to mingle with some eclectic beach folks. I always have a great time here, grab a couple of drinks, and meet up for our next destination point. Most nights live music, djs, and bands.

Just recently returned from Miami where a group of 7 of us spent Friday night at a reserved table. Let me just say, from the get-go, the service from Bar 721 was excellent. Felix, head of their marketing was hand down the most perfect person to work with. Super responsive to all questions, and then when the night was upon us, everything was set and perfect. When does that happen anymore? You have an expectation, and its surpassed? It was wonderful. By the way, if you have the opportunity to utilize their cupcake service via Stella’s Sweet shop, do it. Unbelievable. Anyway, more about the bar, great service from the staff. Good music and videos. Smoke free which we all loved. We’ll return to Bar 721 whenever the opportunity is upon us. To Felix, the wait staff and everyone else at Bar 721, and Stella’s, thanks for a fantastic evening.

This is a «neighborhood» bar which in nice terms means a gay bar but nevertheless still a great bar for the straights! The décor is great! Comfy chairs, couches and a pool table. Great music! The bartenders are nice and make great strong drinks. I had a chance to meet with the owner as he was a nice and humble man. The bar is smoke free but you can smoke outside and still get to mingle with people. It’s a great bar to check out whenever you’re in the Lincoln Rd side of SOBE!

The best bar in Miami Beach, hands down. Smoke free? Check. Amazing happy hour? Check! Friendly staff and clientele? Check. Appealing, full liquor cocktail menu with exotic drinks? Check. Comfortable couches? Clean venue? Nice Décor? Check, Check, Check! WELCOMESMYDOG??? CHECK!!! This is a gay friendly establishment but there has been a mixed crowd every time I’ve visited. I’m so happy you are here, Bar 721! Last point — for those who may be wondering, although 721 is in the location that used to be the Laundry Bar, there is not a hint of this venue’s former self any more. Everything has been gutted and it doesn’t resemble the old dive at all. Cheers!

Bar 721 is a great place to grab a drink anytime. day or night. I love the homey-lounge feel of the place with it’s comfy couches and tastefully fun décor. The music is always good and upbeat whether they are playing deep house or classic dance tracks from the 70s through today. This is the place to see and be seen amongst locals without the attitude found elsewhere.

Went there yesterday for the first time ever. As soon as i walked in i was greeted by the owner, which was nice. The DJ was really good, there was a long bar and a decent sized dance floor, even a pool table with plenty of comfy couches to lounge. Not a huge place, but everything is situated well. There were a few hot girls and they were open to talk and such so the vibe was right. Aside from getting hit on by gay men every 5 minutes, it was the highlight of my night

They did a really great job recreating this place from the black-walled crater it had become. Sleek and stylish without being cold or overbearing, Bar 721 features a mosaic tiled bar and low, loungey seating with lighting and a clientele that remind me a bit of Halo. I only popped in for one drink with my cousin but I’m looking forward to making it a regular spot. They have great happy hour specials that run from 5 to 10 every night and are already lining up artists and events.

I liked the concept of the Laundry Bar. It’s replacement, Black Sheep or the Bar, I think it had a couple names; anyway they did a great job of bringing in gritty Drum & Bass and Dubstep acts. They definitely filled a void in S. Beach. In it’s new form, Lounge 721 isn’t really original in any way, but it is quite comfortable and there isn’t any attitude like many places in the area. With some good dj’s and some bar incentives, they should have the perfect recipe for a great night spot. Especially since it’s allie(Buck 15) across the street aging badly, Bar 721 will need to pick up the slack.

In the former Laundry Bar space, Bar 721 has the potential of becoming my favorite club/bar on the beach. It has an eccentric owner, good looking bartenders, comfortable space and plays good music. I reserved giving five stars because the only thing missing were the people. Once the word gets out and the place fills on a Friday and Saturday, you know where I’ll be…
