I came here during Miami spice last August and finally came around to writing the review. The concept of the restaurant is very cool but it lacks the high class atmosphere that we inevitably pay for when we receive the bill. I was told that the chef was a nominee for a James beard award but that is hard to believe because the food was nothing noteworthy, and mediocre for what I expected after the restaurant was featured on thriller. The one thing I can say was that our server was great. He was very attentive and polite unlike many servers in Miami. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any of my friends for dinner, make only for a drink or two.

We arrived at 8pm and the place was EMPTY.(As in NOTONE customer)! We had a TravelZoo prepaid voucher and they were not willing to honor all of its terms,(which they at least revealed before ordering). We left without ordering so we cannot comment on the food, but we can comment that they are into milking the maximum money out of their(few?) customers. As far as décor, it had a classy(?) brothel look: dark, with red velvet plush walls and old style dimly lit chandeliers. Go elsewhere. Prices are high. And most importantly, this place is oriented to one night stands, not a long term relationship!

Absolutely amazing !! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was nothing but fun. In all this was a very entertaining place and interacting with the performers was a plus! I loved it.

This was my second time here. I first came on New Years Eve and it was disappointingly chaotic to say the least. After speaking with the very lovely Manager Samantha about my issues that holiday night, she invited me back for a better experience. This time I did not go on a holiday and my experience was indeed much better. The entertainment is quite good. They recently changed it from a variety burlesque theme show to a jazz theme show. I really thought the performers had terrific voices and interacted with the crowd very pleasantly. The food was for the most part just okay this time. I tried the New England Seared Scallops, the Malta Salmon, the Truffle Yuca Mash and the Dessert Guava Bread Pudding for dessert. For the most part I was not wowed by the food. The New England Seared Scallops was okay but tasted a bit undercooked, the Malta Salmon dish was very very bland, the Truffle Yuca Mash was very dry and rubbery, the flavor was not what I was hoping for. The Dessert Guava Bread Pudding was quite good, however, the the guava was only prevalent in the plating decoration on the side and it did not pair well with the actual bread pudding and the scoop of ice cream which may have been vanilla. Overall, if you are looking to experience ‘dinner and a show’ on South Beach, and your budget is large, you just may like this. Be patient though as service is mostly slow.

Went here for New Years Eve. Prepaid $ 135 person. Said we could have a table overlooking the stage for 10. Instead we had a table in the back room area with no stage view. Now get this. It took 1 hour to get our drinks and 2.5 hours to get our first course. After 3 hours and only one course served of the 4 prepaid for we decided to leave because it was midnight and we did not want to miss fireworks. Get this, we arrived at 8:45. So literally we had one drink and one course. All paid for in advance in 3 hours and 15 mins. This place is a train wreck. Only send your worst enemy here.

Went on Christmas Eve. & as we both had to work Christmas Day, this was effectivel supposed to be our Christmas. And its close to impossible to descibe the travesty of errors. And as foodies that hit Dade/Broward/Palm Beach counties, close to never the fall off the cliff let down from expectation. the food simply put, fell flat from menu description. the service was slower than a wounded sloth. our bill was a fiasco. the burlesque wouldve been risqué perhaps in an Amish community one of my reservations in booking here was its in one of those jinxed parcels thats seen plenty of failures preceeding it. based on our multi-faceted debacle, gotta think Tantalize will joined the dead that preceeded it. Ya just cant disappoint clientel on a holiday, just shameful.

The show was great, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely amazing. We ordered two entrees: Pato Imperial(duck) and Malta Salmon. While waiting for our meals, we got complimentary mini-tacos with guacamole and tuna which were incredible. Malta Salmon is probably the best salmon I’ve ever tried and the girlfriend was very happy with her meal. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended.

As you walk down the very east side of Lincoln Road Mall and pass over Washington Ave. and head towards Collins Ave., on the right hand side there will be a spot that looks like a night club that could be out of the 20s or 30s and fits the bill all the way. Tantalize Miami is part night club and part restaurant with a Burlesque show and theme all in one. With a Groupon and reservation made, we showed up about 15 – 20 minutes before we heard one of the«shows» would start. We ordered our meals and as our eyes feast on our entrees, the show began. Just a little tease almost as the show was a few songs from the Era with a burlesque theme dance throughout the numbers. Our entrees were the real main dish that night as we each had a super meal. I enjoyed the Salmon dish which truly was tantalizing my taste buds, and my fiancé had a hamburger that was as nice as I have ever seen once look. Complete with a desert pudding and complementary cheese bread/roll, Tantalize Miami real hit the spot.

Tantalize is a nice break from a typical dinner out on south beach. The performers they have there are truly talented. They also have a diverse array of acts all in one night! Each of the acts is maybe 10 minutes long every 30 minutes. We had multiple singers, some dancing only acts, a Charlie Chaplin act, and a contortionist act. The acts are great and the food is amazing! The place is a bit expensive but you are paying for food and a show so I think it’s worth it. Definitely check it out– I think it would be great for a birthday or bachelorette/bachelor party as well!

It’s a dinner theater experience! The performances are top notch, the wait staff(John!) was attentive and went the extra mile(he made my friend a special drink she requested) and the food was absolutely outstanding. We all had ordered different things, let’s see: coconut salad, tuna tartare, seafood citrus appetizers and entrees: filet that melted in your mouth(way it should be), the duck Pato Imperial was delicious; and the fish Cobia was cooked wonderfully! The food was fabulous and compliments to the chef — all plated quite well! Oh and the guava bread pudding — yes, please! And Alissa the hostess was the one who was so sweet and convinced us to give this place a try. She made sure we had a great table and is a credit to the team there. Can’t wait to fly back here!

Tantalize was a very fun experience. Our server was the worst, but everyone else was fantastic. The show is fun. Something new in Miami and right next to Set Nightclub which was fun after dinner. The food was very good and their drinks. Prices are what you expect for Miami Beach. Would definitely recommend for a date night or special occasion, or group gathering.

We had a most enjoyable evening dining here on a recent Miami Spice adventure. The interior is dimly lit, with Victorian chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and the walls and sofas covered in red velvet. As another reviewer said, it feels like Dracula designed it. The room is long and narrow with tables facing the stage and seats in semi-circular sofas. All dishes we tried are beautiful in presentation and exquisite in taste. The el potente has plenty of seafood in a refreshing and slightly sweet citrus juice that I totally love and balances out the heat. The meatball, as others mentioned, is delicious, though I found the mushroom chicarron more chewy than crunchy. Braised pork shoulder is tender and succulent, and the black bean purée tastes way better than you imagine. I asked for my salmon medium, and the moment I dug my fork in I knew the chef didn’t disappointed me. Also love the pea shoot salad on the side. For desserts, we love both our guava bread pudding and the chocolate mousse. Entertainment starts at 9pm, so if you care for it you may not want to book a table at 7. There is an magician(yes, he came and introduced himself as the in house magician) who circuits the tables, then there are songs and dances. Each segment is rather short, like two or three song lengths, spaced out every 15 – 20 min or so. Our waiter told us that performance on weekends are of a higher caliber, but I was happy with our weekday performers. Our server, Jonathan, worths a mention here. When I told him I’m trying to decide between two wines, he recalled what I ordered and based on the flavor expertly recommended one over the other.(They do have an in house sommelier too should you prefer.) After the bus boy delivered the dishes he came over to describe in detail the ingredients and preparation. When I stumped him with a question, he did come back with an answer from the chef. This place may look pricey and tourist-trappy on the outside but it’s actually rather reasonable, given the quality of food and service. Regular entrees goes from mid $ 20s to under $ 50 and a good portion size. A glass of wine, for example, is low teens for white and high teens for red. Add in $$$$ touches like crumber and cut edge glasses, and the entertainment, it’s not bad for a SoBe restaurant. Highly recommend for a date night, the cooing love songs should have you two snuggled together in the cushy velvety sofa by the end of the meal.

OK so this was such a nice suprise. Delicious Peruvian inspired dinner and various acts, from burlesque dances to live singing by semi professional performers; meaning they’re very talented just not fully discovered. Like I’ve seen the guy singer Arias Martin on TV and the girl singer Lexa was amazing at both contortion dance moves and Broadway singing. Anyways a few of my girlfriends and I decided to hit up some place new for Miami Spice and one of them really wanted to come here, and I, in the taste for all things new, agreed. When you walk in you’re met by a dark bar and a receiving area, posh with red velvet walls, dark floors, and Gothic Chandeliers, if Count Dracula had a restaurant this would be his. Then theirs a small counter with lush red velvet curtains separating the entrance to the main dining area. The main dining area is just as posh, 2 stories, with two stair cases in the front and rear, more chandeliers, gold velour walls, and a stage. The dining tables are centered around the stage. And lucky for us we got the best seat in the house front and center. Thankfully the Miami Spice menu had a few of the favorites already mentioned in Unilocal so it was easy to choose. My friend and I ordered different plates so we could share and try different items. For appetizer we had the Lamb Meatballs, oh my, I felt like I was back in Athens having a gyro, so equisite. And the Ceviche, super tasty with grapefruit and fresh fish along with a scoop of melon sherbert, so refreshing. For Entrée we shared the Salmon and the Pork Shoulder. The Salmon was good I loved the bed it was on, and it was moist and delicious. The Pork Shoulder was very flavorful and moist and perfectly came apart. We also shared a side order of Sweet Potato Mash with Scallions and Goat Cheese, all I have to say is that it’s Whipped, and taste of Heaven. If there’s one thing you have to try it’s this. For dessert we tried the Coconut one which was scrumptious, and the Papaya Paste, which was Ok, the goat cheese froth was too strong for me. All in all the performances and food we’d very much enjoyable and I will definitely be back.

Wow My family and I came in for my b day celebration and all I can say is «what an incredible choice we made». Our amazing experience started from the moment we arrive the valet staff was very attentive and Profesional. The hostess greeted us at the entrance with a friendly smile. Once inside the staff walking by said hi to us. They made us feel welcome from the get go. Once on the table our server introduce himself and gave us a run down of the specialty drinks and also food items. He had great knowledge of the menu. Drinks were amazing, we had the Tantalize I believe it was vodka infuse with jalapeño was amazing. Now the food was mind blowing, starting with the amazing Yuca bread. The flavor of the food, quality and presentation was top notch. Just to mention a few we had the bacalaito appetizer yummy, octopus taco, salmon and the braise pork was mind blowing. Last but not least the entertainment was amazing, creating a great atmosphere to celebrate but also to conduct business. I will recommend to everyone I know. Thanks to the staff at Tantalize for making my b day dinner an incredible one. See you all soon

The four stars is definitely for the food. I came here with a large group of friends celebrating a birthday. The service was spectacular. However, the food won the night. Every plate had a nice mixture of flavors and texture that were so delightful. There were a few shows through out the night that were entertaining but nothing out of this world nor were they X rated as some may think otherwise. The down side was the lack of people. They have definitely invested in making the place look grandeur, fancy, classy two floors with chandeliers. But the place was empty, aside from us just one other party on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately, I think the issue has been that they’ve talked up the place too much and people have become intimidated to go. Thinking it’s pricy and rated X etc. It’s definitely different from the norm but the main reason to go to a restaurant is to eat and hopefully good food, if that’s what you’re looking for this is a great place.

Amazing! The drinks are good the waiter Julio explained the entire menu patiently. He was extremely genuine and enthusiastic. the food is delicious! I had the duck it was light and filling at the same time. My friends are so happy I picked this place. The shows run every 30 minutes and it’s really entertaining! We saw about 4 shows during our dinner. The tantalizer drink is spicy but the lovers is sweet and delicious. Love!!! 10 stars!

4.5. Pretentious about the meal in the onset, I opted for the tacos and was not impressed by any means. As the meal progressed the chef transformed my opinion almost immediately. His play on the spices of the filet and the char of the chicken were nothing short of remarkable. The flavors that were able to be evoked from these dishes were nothing short of astounding and are a definite cause for repetition. The ability of the chef to evoke such flavor in the dishes offered is commendable to say the least. If a chance arrived to partake in such a meal in the future, I would most definitely jump at the offer. Do yourself a favor and fine at tantalize, if not only to partake in the scenery, most definitely the cuisine.

Our Experience: Made reservations a couple weeks in advance via opentable and the wife and I were really looking forward to the dinner/show. We arrived Saturday night for an 8:30 reservation and the place was lot emptier then I expected. They took us up stairs and we were seated right away. Ambiance and décor is very nice and seductive. When you walk in there is a bar room where you can have drinks while waiting for your table if needed. 2-story room with stages on both levels. The pictures shown on the site are just how it looks on the inside. We stared with drinks and appetizers. We ordered the oysters and Lamb meatballs, which both were great. The oysters were fresh and came with three different sauce options. The meatballs came in a nice sauce, delicious and flavorful. No shows were going on in the first 30 mins after we arrived and began to wonder how often and how many shows we would see during our time at dinner. More couples arrived and expected the shows to start soon. Just before 9pm the burlesque dancers came out and performed one of their shows(they do 5 min mini shows) which was classy, exciting, and entertaining. There is a stage and the ladies perform all around the dining area and stage. The menu has a Latin flare with both steak and seafood. I ordered the Filet Mignon Churrasco and my wife orders the Cobia. The Churrasco was cooked perfect and was very soft and tender. The Yuca Pastel was nicely presented, but lacked flavor and was pretty bland. The Cobia is pan crusted and was good, but didn’t taste any chorizo on the plate. We ordered a side of the sweet potato which were ok. During dinner(just before 10pm) we saw our second show, which again was excellent. For dessert we ordered the guava bread pudding and was good, but the guava taste was very faint and not really able to taste it. Summary: We were really looking forward to the Burlesque shows more than dinner as it would be unique from other restaurants on South Beach. But only seeing two 5 min shows in the 2 ½ hours we were there was very disappointing. To «indulge the senses» I believe they could have had a show every 15 – 20 mins instead of 1 and hour. This is truly the one big fail, they are promoting the shows, but 90% of the time, nothing is happening on stage. The food was good, but nothing outrages or «must try». The items we had were some of the staples, but while they were good, both were not memorable. I’m giving it three stars because the lack of shows, not the quality. The shows themselves were great but let them perform more often if they are promoting the burlesque. The food was good and I’m sure it’s about the same price range for a nice place on South Beach, but nothing was out of this world in my opinion. Service and staff were very friendly and attentive.
