Although this place is beyond expensive for american cuisine. I am sad to see it closed. It was always a treat get a frozen hot chocolate while shopping at Lincoln Road. Well on to the next thing… Low rating due to high prices… the frozen hot chocolate was well worth the price tag. See ya in NYC Serendipity

4 stars for the experience and presentation. Not a fan of their coffee or cappuccino. Chocolate chip cookies are amazing

First things first: Best nachos EVER! The nachos at this place were amazing. We decided to go with a mix of chicken and beef. The portions of the meat were surprisingly big compared to other places. You could literally taste chicken and beef on every bite. What I enjoyed the most was that the sour cream, pico and guac were in three different containers so the nachos weren’t soggy. They were also very generous with the amount of sour cream and guacamole which made the plate even better. My friends decided to go with the summer salad which brought a strawberry vinaigrette. They said it was pretty good. We decided to go with the skirt steak and a side of French Fries. The skirt steak came with a chimichurri sauce that was so good we even had to ask for an extra serving. The skirt steak was cooked exactly as directed and it had a good taste. The French fries’ portion was pretty big that all four of us were able to join in the deliciousness. The only bad thing was that we were so full by the end of our second course that we couldn’t taste any of the famous desserts. Would definitely be coming back next time I’m in Lincoln Rd just to try a dessert.

We were dying to try The Frozen Hot Chocolate and it did not disappoint! We stuck with the original, and shared it because it was HUGE! The menu is enormous! Luckily we were there to have brunch, and that menu only consisted of four or five options. All of the brunch specials came with a(small) glass of Strawberry Peach Sangria which was very refreshing. I will say that the portions are pretty big, we ended up sharing most of it. Our server was friendly enough, the food came out pretty quickly, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. I would definitely go back.

Awesome dessert! Only ate here for dessert. Tried their fried Oreo sundae and it was tha bomb! A bit pricey for 1 dessert, after tax & tip it was 20 bucks. However sundae is huge and it’s definitely enough for 2 people. Worth trying at least once.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long long time. Today, we finally gave it a go. Shared the deep tried Oreo dessert($ 15) and my friend had a coffee($ 5). The bill was $ 25 as tip was automatically included. I though the dessert was good, but a bit overpriced. This is not a place I would visit often, considering how fattening/huge their desserts are, so I will be returning, maybe once a year as a treat.

The Carrot cake sundae was AMAZING! It was super sweet so we couldn’t finish it. The mix of ice cream and maple walnuts and cake is perfection. The service is also great, very friendly servers!

We ordered a chicken sandwich and fries which were ok, nothing special but acceptable. The ice cream sundae was huge but the carrot cake was dry and stale and the peanut butter sauce was too sweet. The live DJ was too loud and ruined the peaceful atmosphere.

Repeat after me: «Wow, those sundaes look amazing.» «I can’t believe how big these portions are. Want some? „ “Cool looking bowls.“ » OMG, did I just spend this much for food I didn’t finish? « Ok, you got it covered. You have said everything that you are going to say. Mediocre ice cream with outrageous toppings presented in an oppulent manner at high prices. The frozen hot chocolate is probably the best value here. If you go, it is for the experience and the show factor. Don’t come here just for the food.

Huge variety on the menu, something for everyone, any taste, and any craving. Come hungry and ready for the calories though. But… what I really enjoy are the Sundaes. Huge, massive, fatty. Triple bypass heavy. Coronaries delight. My preferred heart attack inducing concoction: Deep Fried Cookies & Cream… deep fried cookies, cookies ‘n cream, hot fudge & marshmallow sauce Sign up to a Platinum Plan at the web site and go to Serendipity. I was in Miami(MLK2015 weekend) for a Bachelorette Party and our LAST stop was Serendipity 3! It wasn’t near our hotel so we finally found the time and EVERYBODY that’s went to the other locations were excited and hyping up the place for the others… but UNFORTUNATELY it ended up being a mediocre experience! :( I’ve only been to the Las Vegas Caesars Palace Serendipity 3 location back in 2013, but mind you I went there twice during my short trip because it was just THATDELISH… and I’m specifically talking about the Frozen Hot Chocolate! So I was totally excited and have been dreaming for a chance to dive myself into one since we don’t have this in Houston(hint hint!). Negatives: * There was an odd smell near where we sat(kind of like vomit or mildew). * Food was good but nothing amazing especially for the prices. My friend and I decided to share so we ordered the Smoked Chicken Quesadilla and the Don’t Drop Your Skirt Steak Frites first and then of course the Frozen Hot Choco! It was definitely filling and everybody else seemed to like their food, but nobody was enjoying it in delight as we’d expected. The frozen hot chocolate had a odd chunky powdery taste to it. Positives: * There was no wait time for a group of 8 gals(we came during lunch hour too) * Our waitress(forgot her name but older lady) was very pleasant and helpful! * It was very cute inside so we got some nice pictures! Can’t wait to try the New York one and see which city has done it best! In the end it’s the food that matters the most am I right?

I went there for the first time 12/10/2014. I ordered the churrasco steak with fries. The presentation was beautiful, I had a cotton candy drink and it was superb. Pretty much the steak was very tender, I kinda wished they would have given some chimichurri sauce on the side versus them drizzling on the plate. When it was time to order dessert, I ordered a slice of red velvet cake. The cake was served with a side of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The slice of cake was reasonable, but the cake it was not the best. Ideally dining at the beach, can be a little expensive but, I find them a little overpriced, but I forget they are at the beach, for its location.

If you are a dessert lover, this is the place to indulge in. Mostly known for the extravagant $ 1,000.00 sundae, this place takes the win for any sundae overall. They do also serve food, and it’s good, but when you go you have to save room for dessert and not a little room. These sundaes are huge in size and flavor. Our favorite one is the forbidden Broadway. It consists of two scoops of ice cream. One chocolate one vanilla and a huge chunk of house made chocolate cake. It also brings hot fudge but it definitely taste better when you ask for extra and then some on the side. Overall the experience is great, the only thing is the closer to the kitchen you sit, the more the restaurant loses its charm so be sure to ask for a table closer to the bar. Decoration is different, with hanging chairs and bicycles stuck to the wall. During the winter you will freeze outside, for some reason that area of lincoln rd is very windy at night.

Yep leave your diet out the door because the food it’s worth every calorie intake. Don’t even get me started with the dessert !!! We had the tuna tacos(so good) the all nachos(4 can share. It’s a lot) the BBQ with blue cheese and if all that food wasn’t enough we had the ooey Goooey brownie sundae. Everything was delicious and we obviously couldn’t finish it all.(We had ¾ nachos to go lol) Ps. Gratitude is included in check.

Is it serendipity to find Serendipity in Miami Beach? On a hot day, could be. I had been meaning to try the original Serendipity 3, the classic ice cream parlor on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, for years, decades really. I was usually put off by the waiting throngs, mostly large European and Chinese families barricading the front door with their pack-rat appetites. I just don’t have that kind of patience. For pork belly, yes. For ice cream, not so much. But here I was strolling in the Miami heat on Lincoln Road Mall when lo and behold, there is a Serendipity 3, and as if the gods commanded it, there was no line either. I walked in and sat myself at the empty counter(photo: ). Booths were still filled with families and the ceiling was a swirl of colors and antique Tiffany lamps(photo: ). I didn’t have to look at a menu because I knew what I wanted to try. No, not the $ 1,000 Golden Opulence Sundae. Not the hot food either since I just ate at the Yard House down the block. I didn’t even know they served regular food. Nope, it was the classic $ 11 Frrrozen Hot Chocolate for me, a frothy chocolatey concoction served in a big goblet and piled high with whipped cream, chocolate shavings and chocolate-covered espresso beans for an extra dollar(photo: ). Yummy(…I hate that word but it fits here) and refreshing as I braced myself for the oppressive humidity again. FRRROZENHOTCHOCOLATE — 4 stars… quite a treat and gone too soon AMBIANCE — 3.5 stars… presumably lifts the old-fashioned NYC décor and transplants it to SoBe SERVICE — 3.5 stars… she seemed to be finishing her shift since she disappeared after a while TOTAL — 4 stars… the appropriate spot to find serendipity

My husband and I are fans of the Las Vegas location, so when we learned there was a Serendipity 3 near our hotel in Miami, we had to give it a shot. It is a bit smaller than the Vegas restaurant, and the décor is more like the original NYC spot rather than the bright, whimsical vibe the Vegas location has. However, the menus are nearly the same other than a few city specialties on each. Serendipity is known for desserts including frozen hot chocolate and the $ 1,000 golden opulence sundae. The frozen hot chocolate is very rich and tasty, and definitely a good thing to try while in hot southern Florida. During our recent trip, my husband and I spilt the chocolate cake sundae. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream topped with a piece of chocolate cake, whipped cream, and hot fudge… yum! All of the food I’ve ever tried at their Vegas location has been wonderful, and the meal I had here was solid as well. The portions are all very large and can easily be split between two… especially if you’re planning on dessert. My husband and I spilt The Full Monty sandwich and a side of perfectly seasoned fries. This tasty sandwich includes grilled chicken on ciabatta bread with monterrey jack cheese, bacon, aruguala, and bbq sauce. Serendipity 3 is a great casual restaurant. I highly recommend it if you’re trying to choose from the gazillion restaurants located right there on Lincoln Road.

Shopping and wandering on the street with my folks and it’s dinner time. Decided to sit by the street and chill out a little bit. They were having the happy hour, so we start with some $ 5 nachos, wings, and cocktails. it’s a good deal, but it’s also the reason why we didn’t have any room for dessert… Reading so many positive reviews about their desserts now at home, I feel as if I missed a huge part of it… We were not very hungry but still we got a cheese burger, a pizza, an omelet, and a caesar salad. I think all of them were pretty good, and the pizza was a huge one despite that our waitress told us one can probably finish it, guess we’re not very hungry. The weather was breezy and nice that night, so we sit there eating and chatting for a long time. Guess that was a little bit confusing for our waiters to decide whether we’re done with our dishes or not lol. Sorry about that. But we did have a great dinner and quite enjoyed ourselves. Will try the dessert next time(if i visit Miami again…)!

This time around I can only comment on their dessert. MYOHMY! It was heaven! I ordered a «Deep Fried Oreo Sundae» and I asked for extra deep fried oreos like a true fat girl. The Deep Fried Oreo Sundae consists of Cookies-n-cream ice cream, fried oreos, whipped cream, marshmallow sauce and fudge sauce. Delicious! This is quite the spot for any one with crackhead sugar cravings like me. I just wanted to keep eating more and more of this sundae but my stomach was waving the white flag in surrender. What I particularly loved about this sundae was that their deep fried oreos aren’t fried in the typical pancake batter. There«batter» seems almost like crushed corn flakes of some sort. It is great and definitely adds a crunch to the oreos. I can’t wait to come back and try their food very soon!
