A bit overpriced in my opinion but the breakfast sandwich was so good! So was the coffee. Perfect for a quick morning breakfast.

The sandwiches are great, the croissants are yummy. The coffee is not so great. Would come back for the food, but definitely not the coffee.

Food was complicated… order bread and they charge extra for butter, despite price of establishment water was served in cheap plastic cup . Coffee was not particularly good, service though was excellent attentive and prompt Had eggs BEnedict their version definitely not worth it sauce was cold on eggs Benedict and bread was small and single piece. Positive s very professional staff, great atmosphere super clean tables and cutlery but pastries rocked I had a sweet desert with breakfast turned all negatives to acceptable.

This time, I tried the pastries in the display case. I found them to be good and tasty — so much so that I think they’re better than PAUL’s café menu. I’d come back for the display case items and have it with a drink or coffee. This is a step up from Le Provence French bakery chain. And the sweet French rum and vanilla spiced canelés here are really good even though they use the silicon baking sheets, and they are $ 3 a pop. Get them fast if you see them — they sold out their daily batch within 45 minutes of taking it out of the oven the last time I was there. If I was reviewing this place based on the café offerings only, I would have taken away another star. A 0.5 star option would be nice here.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast on Lincoln road. The place is really cute with lots of outdoor seating. You order inside and they deliver the food to you when it’s ready. They have lots of pastries and breads that looked delicious. I got the breakfast sandwich with an ice coffee. It was delicious and pretty big!

While Paul may be a typical chain in France, it’s definitely a hidden gem in Miami. Located right in the heart of Lincoln Road, Paul has a rustic French feel to it. I was recommended to check this place out by a few people, so when the opportunity presented itself, I made sure to pop in. I was in a bit of a rush, so I had to go with take out. I was attending the outdoor SoundScape movie event down the street, so picnic style was what I was looking for and a French sandwich and salad was what I was craving. They have a beautiful display of pastries, macaroons, sandwiches, and various breads. I went with a turkey blt on a baguette. I also paid extra to get the side of potatoes and salad. The guy who rung me up was very kind. He was patient with me as I asked questions about the menu since it was my first time. After waiting for about 15 mins to get my food to-go, I was on my way to my outdoor event. Once opening my sandwich and ready to take my first bite, I was hugely disappointed to get a mouthful of bread. Opening up the sandwich to take a look at what’s under the hood, I noticed they majorly skimped me on the ingredients. I felt as if I had an overwhelming amount of bread in contrast to the meat. The bread was great, but if I wanted toast I would have just ordered it. The potatoes were eh and the salad was just lettuce with no dressing. Overall, the food would have been pretty had it been prepared with care. It seemed like it was a bit half ass. It’s also probably a bit too expensive for what you’re getting. I still give the place 3 stars, and this is why. One star for décor, one star for kind staff, one star for decent menu and presentation(in store behind the glass). I’ll give them one more try, but maybe I’ll just stick to macaroons and coffee next time.

While visiting Lincoln Road, I was looking for a spot of coffee different from the three Starbucks that I had already seen. I stopped into Paul’s and noticed they had beignets(I have heard people rave about them, but still haven’t tried one myself). To my misfortunate, they were sold out(~2PM) despite one of the servers bringing out a tray only to told by the manager to put them back. No worries, though, as I will save my beignet experience for New Orleans. I ended up ordering an apple pastry and latte, both of which tasted very good. I enjoyed people watching from the outdoor seating as well.

Coffee tasted burnt. Almond tarte was rubbery and wet and tasted like it had been sitting out for 4 days. I have seen cleaner ladies restrooms in gas stations off I-95. You’d do better to go to Starbucks, and also, vom. This place is decidedly NOT a maison de qualite.

It gets two stars just for not being Starbucks but seriously Miami beach wtf I can’t get a place to serve a half decent cup of coffee and a pastry baked within the last 6 hours? Don’t come here for dinner time coffee. Nothing any self-respecting Frenchman would ever be proud of, let alone a cubano. Meh all around. Maybe try again at 7AM?

The hot chocolate was total crap for $ 5.50/cup. Based on just this, I would not go back to this location. I’ve been to other Paul locations in London and Paris. The hot chocolate I had in Europe was the stuff of dreams — thick, super chocolately. You KNEW you were sipping on good quality, just melted from a bar, chocolate. THIS Paul location, however, serves an equivalent of Swiss Miss. It was god awful. I don’t think it was even made w/milk — more likely water — and it was definitely from powdered mix. And it was freakin’ $ 5.50!!!

The only thing saving this place from one star is the location cuz I liked the people watching. I recently started working across the street and thought what a cute place for a quick lunch. So I stopped in today and ordered a croque moisseur and a cup of soup. Literally, I stepped up to the register and said ‘Hi! Can I please have a croque moisseur and a cup of the french onion soup for here.’ Firstly, the guy at the register tried to upsell me about a hundred times. Do I want a bread bowl? no. Do I want to make it a madam with a fried egg on top? no. Do I want ham AND turkey? no. Do I want a combo? no. Do I want a drink other than water? no. Do i want a dessert? no. Do I want a coffee? no. Sigh. I finally got my number and headed to a table. After about 20 minutes I started wondering where the food was, after all it wasn’t a crazy busy day. I soon found out. They were burning my sandwich. When it arrived, it was a sad looking sandwich, two HARD pieces of sourdough, about 2 slices of thin sliced ham, half a slice of burned cheese and a completely BLACK crust along one side. a few pieces of greens with dressing. The soup was ok, luckily. Because I had to send the sandwich back. The guy who brought it out didnt speak english, so someone else had to come. I ate the soup while I waited. Then I looked at the empty soup bowl while I waited. about 25 minutes later my revised sandwich came out. Just as sad looking. about 50% less burned, but one side was still charcoal black. I gave up, took it apart and ate just the middle and left. Total for the charcoal and cup of soup(no drink remember) was $ 16. I am hoping this was a fluke, and I’ll try it again maybe for breakfast, but it was a huge disappointment.

Staff is so nice and gave us three macaroons! Their lattes are great but they only had full fat milk. Their mini croissants were fresh and flakey. Almost none of their food is vegetarian except for quinoa salad. Most sandwiches had meats and cheeses. Good for a quick coffee.

Stopped in for lunch on a day when I was strolling down Lincoln Road and needed a quick bite. First impression was that this place reminds me of a bakery at the Paris pavilion in Epcot… a kind of Panera Bread with a French twist. You order your food at a counter and then a server will bring it to you. The place was clean, staff was courteous, and helpful. Food was fresh albeit a little bland. Over all, it’s one of the many decent little spots to grab a quick bite if you’re in the area.

This place has an excellent location on Lincoln Blvd. it is also a very good place for a casual French feel and food. The food is average. However they do a good job at certain items, such as the French soup, cappuccino, and some of their sandwiches. Service had been better than before and they are now faster at preparing the food.

The food is absolutely delicious & not bad prices! I’ve never had a macaroon before & I really enjoyed it! I came here during the week with two of my close co-workers on break. One of them had an issue with getting a roll she ordered but wasn’t given. The waiter even said she wasn’t charged for it, forcing her to show the other staff members her receipt. I enjoyed my sandwich but felt I was only eating the bread roll, which was difficult to bit apart, so I ate it open faced. A very cute restaurant with a fun French theme.

I remember visiting the café in the Louvre, famished, and recall it being named Paul. Fancy that, apparently it’s a chain that has made surprising inroads into America. In terms of comparisons, it still feels more La Madeleine than the Laduree it feels like Paul is trying to be. La Madeleine still does it better. You’ll get your usual faux-Parisian goodies here… I went with a palmier for now and a box of macarons for later. I’ve got other reviews waxing poetic about good macarons versus bad. I’ll let my star rating dictate how I felt about Paul’s. Also added an iced coffee to the mix. A little biting, but otherwise fine.

In case the wailing street performer didn’t give it away, Lincoln Road is not France. An experience at Paul can remind you once again, we’re not in France. I love Paul in Pairs; however, this location might be tarnishing their good name. The first time I came, I stopped in for coffee and macarons. It was ok except the whole place just feels kind of dirty. No real atmosphere whatsoever. I recently returned for lunch and ordered the soup and sandwich combo. To start, the French onion soup is unlike any other I’ve had, and not in a good way. It was thick and opaque, not to mention, it tasted like tomato soup and I barely ate it. My salmon sandwich was alright but skimped on ingredients. The bread was the only redeeming quality. Now, my dining companion ordered quiche and it came literally fifteen minutes after mine. It took about forty minutes total to get our food which made absolutely no sense. Since random waiters are running around, no one bothered to say anything or explain. So there ya go. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a meal. Maybe for a quick pastry on the go, but that’s about it.

We stopped for some quick coffee while walking around Lincoln Road Mall at night. When we went there was no line/wait and we only got coffee. The service was wonderful for us and the cashier was extremely knowledgeable about the different coffees. I tried their iced cappuccino(never tried that in my life) and it was absolutely wonderful! Next time I’m in Miami I will definitely visit Paul again!

Selection looks awesome, however was surprised that there was not a almond chocolate croissant. Got a chocolate one at around 5pm and it was pretty stale. Returned the next morning thinking maybe the fresh one would be better, it was just as bad. This is NOT the same as Paris. Cute place with outdoor seating is nice.

Mmmmm large macaroons, bad service and French people! Really good coffee spot and pastries. I had a bunch of large macaroons and cakes. I have been here like 20 times over the span of 6 years and can say everything has stayed consistent, something that is rare in Miami. Just be patient and assume the worst, that they mess up your order or it never comes. Only has happened once but hey they are French and it’s Miami so what do you expect? Coffee is good too and the mango smoothie also is good. You should definitely go here and not Starbucks if on Lincoln road.
