Ever think you need a special occasion to go to a special place? Well this place is really not one of those! You need not wait for that one special moment. Any ordinary day will be transported into a celebration upon your taste buds indulging in the variety of flavors offered at this establishment. Alongside fellow Unilocalers and friends we decided to embark on a foodie’s journey. Here they offer a «Chef’s Tasting» which allows you to experience various dishes for one cost per person — $ 50 — catch thou the whole table has to participate and therefore agree on what items are to be ordered. We fortunately have no issues in regards to this cause we all love to try new flavors! Each dish was portioned accordingly to the size of the party, 1 pc per person(party of 4) all but the last delicious large plate«Chuleta Can Can». more on this beauty in a little bit… Our first course consisted of a very small dish with very small pieces of very thin raw sushi style Hamachi — OMG! it was overall small, but it was packing a huge flavor! Its tenderness combined with the lemony tartness was awesome! Shame it was so small… but it was a great start! To follow — Hamachi tacos — Now these are not your ordinary tacos! They are approximately the size of your palm filled with a variation of flavors, crispy, fresh, lemony. so very delicious! Sliders — Beef — gotta take my fellow eaters word for it — they were delicious… cause it actually«Sliders Beef Tartare — raw meat — I do not do raw meat… We really enjoyed our experience here. Everything we tried was delicious!

The bottom line is that you won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for quality over quantity. It was 5 of us at dinner and we decided to do dinner family style like our waitress suggested. It was great to try multiple dishes, and I enjoyed most of them! Yellowtail Hamachi Crudo– Fresh, flavorful, just the right amount of spice Florida Heirloom Tomatoes– if you’ve never had burrata, try this dish, delicious, unique, refreshing with the watermelon French Onion Soup Dumplings– stuffed with shortrib. My fave dish of the night. Filet Mignon — cooked medium, was tender and delicious PB Brussels Sprouts: incorporating veggies to your diet never tasted so good. Corn on the Cob– I wasn’t the biggest fan but everyone else loved it. Seasoned well with cortija cheese. Beef and Broccoli– a bit salty. My least favorite dish we ordered that night. Let’s not forget the desserts: tiramisu and bread pudding. Both yum. The food and service was good. I was the right amount of full. Not stuffed or still hungry. And taste buds were very happy. :)

That’s what I am taking about!!! We went to PB Steak for their Miami Spice menu. Once there, however, we quickly realized we wanted it all… and boy did we order it all!!! This place is just awesome. The décor and ambiance is perfect. Very rustic and relaxing look with chalkboard walls and perfect lighting. Of note is their corkage fee policy. It is $ 28BUT you must consume at least two bottles MINIMUM unless you order a bottle from them, then the fee for your bottle is waived. As for the food, everyone wanted one of them… We had them all!!!(Ok seriously I have to stop the Miami Heat reference) From the Maine Lobster Rolls to the Ceviche Taquitos to the Tomato Watermelon Burrata Salad to the House Made Bacon Confit to the Pork Cheek Ravioli to the Mac & Cheese(of course!) to the Ribeye to the Miso Roasted Black Cod to the Apple Pie Jar to the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding to the French Toast Sticks. Yes… all that… seriously!!! When I tell you it was all out of this world good, it was. I love the ravioli and cod the most. This place will be a favorite of mine for years to come. Can’t wait to return!

Another great locals spot in Sunset Harbour… best part of this place is the great happy hour that runs until 8PM Monday-Friday…the steak tartare sliders with aoili sauce were out of this world and great seafood selection. Good music(theme varies throughout the week) and great bartenders. For the most part, nice professional crowd as well.

Yum! Yum! Yum After reading Unilocal reviews I was excited to try PB Steak and it delivered on all levels! The décor is inviting, the service was good(even though our server was a low talker and we had to strain to hear him), but the food was absolutely exquisite! There were four of us. Yes, I know this is a «trendy» type of place but we were there with the kids. We were, however, celebrating, an early Father’s Day since Husband will not be here that weekend. Our boys do eat like adults now(especially 9 year old) so we ordered a lot of food. I also wanted to try a lot of the food I had read about. Items we ordered: Maine Lobster Roll($ 10)-pretty small small for the price but delicious. PB Taquitos: Spicy Tuna & Cucumber($ 5) & Hamachi Ceviche & Miso-so fresh tasting & both with just the right amount of spice… one of my favorites! Popcorn Rockshrimp($ 17)-tastes a little like the Firecracker Shrimp at Bokamper’s but better. Did not think 9yr old would like it because it had a nice kick to it but he loved it! Great dish! French Onion Soup Dumplings($ 16)-Husband & boys loved these shortrib dumplings servrd in an escargot type crock with sweet onion soup, gruyère cheese, & croutons. I agreed it was delish but a little rich for my taste, especially as an app. Skirt Steaks($ 25) — 12 oz portions were a nice size, tasted good, and were served with chimichurri sauce Miso Roasted Black Cod($ 27) — Thank you Brenda P. Another favorite! Moist, sweet, savory & just delish! PB Burger($ 19) — 10 year old could not eat it. I tasted it and did not like this fancy burger either. The meat was just too«chunky». They did not take it off our bill but gave us a free dessert. Lobster Mash Potatoes($ 19) Tthere was really nothing wrong with this but my picky 10 year ols could not eat it with the garnish. I did taste it and the potatoes had a nice flavor, but I have to say that for 19 bucks, there did not seem to be much lobster in there. They did take this off the bill. PB Brussel Sprouts($(9) — made with bacon and miso, this was one dish I had to try even though I knew no one else at the table would help me with them. Lo and behold, 9 year old liked them! I do not usually eat brussel sporouts, but this dish lived up to its reputation. Another sweet & savory combo, a cruciferious veggie never tasted so lovely! Stuffed to the gills, we had to try the famous desserts and they were all delicious! Key LIme Pie: very sour key lime mellowed by caramel & graham crackerer cookies in a glass Choco-Pop: chocolate brownie, white & dark chocolate mousse, ice cream, caramel popcorm… sweet, sweet, sweet Cinnamon Bun Bread Pudding: I was in a food coma by then, I can’t remember the exact ingredients! I was reluctant to take the kids to this trendy spot but early on a Saturday night there were all types of people at this South Beach spot: kids, older couples, tourists. On this Memorial Day weekend it was not even full by the time we left at 8pm. A couple of misses, but so many taste explosions in my mouth! Certainly not a cheap meal. For the four of us, the meal(including tip) was about $ 60 per person and that was with two soft drinks and no alcohol. In the future, I don’t think I will feel so obligated to try so many things. I think I will stick with more of the raw bar and the veggies. The nice thing about PB Steak though is there is something for everyone(steak for the Husband, raw bar for me, lots for the kiddies!) Can’t wait to return!

If I could give this place ten stars I would. First, the people complaining that this isn’t a steakhouse need to fuck off. Do your research before dining. Hands down, PB Steak is my fave from the Pubbelly boyz. DELICIOUSFOOD. Ambiance is very nice(a little dark) and service was great and very attentive. To start, I had a Roquette Fuel with Spring 44 gin, arugula and black pepper. A delicious spin on a gin n tonic or water. We ordered a shit ton of food for four girls, I’m sure the server was freaked out. Right away, one of us ordered two of the ceviche tacos, hamachi and lobster which she really enjoyed. I’m a sucker for anything pickled so the pickled veggies were a great surprise. Can’t really judge oysters too well, but I had two of their east coast selection that night. I would say my faves were the HOMEMADEBACONCONFITANDCRISPYPIGEARS(we ordered two of each, fuck it). First time having pig ears that were on Michael’s Genuine’s level in a while. The heirloom tomato salad with watermelon and burrata was PERFECT. We also had the Dates Avec Chorizo, PB Brussels, skirt steak and mac n cheese. Oh, and an iceberg wedge salad. The location is nice. The ambiance is nice. The décor is hip and trendy. The hostess friendly, waitress had a bit of trouble explaining the menu, items and options. She was nice but getting information from her was like pulling teeth. I ordered the fig toast and a burger with a fried egg. The food save for the toast was as greasy as could be. Not good grease but heavy yucky grease. Needless to say the meal did not sit to well with me and gave me a really bad stomach ache. It is times like this that truly make me appreciate Alka-seltzer and a heating pad. Yikes! I won’t be going back to this place.

PB Steak is probably my favorite restaurant at the moment. We went for dinner and it was pretty packed(it’s a fairly small place) but the hostess had us sit at the bar until our table was ready. There was a big party so we waited about 30 minutes passed our reservation time– it was worth the wait. We finally got seated and already knew what we wanted since we had been looking at the menu in the bar. Here is a breakdown of our culinary experience at PB Steak: Pork Cheek Ravioli– Amazing flavor!!! The pork cheek was tender and flavorful. The ravioli tasted fresh and home-made(I wish I would have asked). It was topped with a sauce and what I assumed were beets? It didn’t matter because the combination of flavors was unbeatable. Lobster Ceviche Taquitos– Tiny bites of a crispy taco that were stuffed with lobster ceviche and some pickled veggies. Delicious!!! Crispy Pig Ears– If you’ve never had pig ears– try them!!! They taste similar to the cuban ‘chicharon’ and in PB Steak they made them a bit smokey with a spicy Sriracha sauce… no words to describe the deliciousness! Dry Aged Rib Eye– Since we were sharing so many dishes we asked for the smallest cut of steak(its market price so you can choose your cut size). They brought us a pretty big steak! You can definitely taste the difference between a dry aged steak and a normal steak. It was accompanied by a mushroom broth that gave it the juiciness it needed. Extremely flavorful and worth every penny! Potato Purée– Very subtle parmesan taste, not too watery just the right consistency! Truffled Corn– We love anything with truffles!!! The corn did not disappoint. It was a creamy mixture of corn, peas, and onion with truffle oil and I think cheese? So good! Needless to say– there was absolutely no room for desert!!! A must try! I can’t wait to go back again… so many things I still want to try.

Holy happy hour on a Monday night after the super bowl! We met a friend there around 730pm and the bar was packed! So was the rest of the place within 30minutes. The happy hour bar menu had so many options so we shared multiple items. My only issue was that there was too much pork on the menu for a non pork eater but I knew I would encounter that with the name(pb steak is sister resto to pork belly) but I would have liked more steak options. I enjoyed the steak tartare sliders, the Korean chicken wings, the steak and Gorgonzola grilled cheese and $ 2 oysters! I was definitely full between nibbles of all the above and 2 glasses of vino. I would definitely come back for a full on steak dinner because you can tell how much effort they put into their interesting meal concoctions and the quality of meat is in the top percentile for sure. Plus I like the cute little spot off the Venetian.

Trendy, hip and quaint. Delicious food and super fun ambiance. Pretty much sums it up. Came for my bday dinner, because one of my friends who has a passion for food highly recommended it. We had made reservations for 830, got there at 8 and were seated immediately. It was packed. The room was filled to capacity. You really couldn’t even hear each other talk because it was so loud. The food was excellent. Being that I’m a carnivore I had high expectations for a place that specializes in different cuts of steaks. I have to say I was impressed. We ordered just about every small plate on the menu. All of which were exceptional BUT what stood out for me were the Hamachi tacos. Omg! Amazing the crunch of the taco and the texture of the filling was spectacular. I ended up eating 3. At $ 5 each not bad. For desert I ordered the cinnamon bread pudding, 1 word. Orgasmic. The food is pricey but expected because u are on Miami beach. Your paying for the crowd. Overall for a special occasion i would recommend it. Definitely make reservations.

This place is great for brunch! The soft polenta, BLT benedict and french toast are all great choices. Also, ask for a side of truffle Butter toast, you won’t regret it. I’ve only been there once for happy hour but I didn’t really have a good experience. We ordered drinks and food from the happy hour menu which looked promising, but 10 mins after ordering, the bartender came back and said most of the things we ordered«weren’t available» whatever that means. That kind of sucked since we were starving and eager to try the food, but the bartender was very nice and attentive so I wouldn’t mind going back and giving it another try.

Went to PB steak on a Saturday night without a reservation, since their other Pubelly restaurants never take reservations, and once we got there we found out that this restaurant takes them. Whatever. We sat at the bar, the place was packed and we order some drinks and kept drinking and drinking. We got there at 8:30 and got seated at around 10:30 pm. Place was incredibly packed. The wait was worth it though. For myself as well as my hubbie and our friends, the wait was all worth it. We ordered quite a few dishes, probably around 10 – 12 different ones. Everything was good. Some of the dishes I remember were the dates with chorizo, pork cheek ravioli, heirloom tomato salad, beets with goat cheese, steak tartare sliders, sweetbread, Brussels sprouts, lobster Mac n cheese, potato purée, a well a the rib eye and Kansas City steak. Like I said all was good EXCEPT the Kansas City steak. I found it to be tough, not very flavorful and rather bland. In fairness, everything else was goo. I just think their other restaurants are way better than this one. I find Pubelly sushi delicious as well as Pubelly, barcelonetta and Machialina. Our friends raved about the food though and at e end of the night we were extremely full. Not sure I’d pick this place over their other restaurant which I find to be much better. However the night was fun. Good was good and service very good. I would just chose either of their other places for a great meal.

Great NYE dinner! So many tasty options, including the tacos with a miso corn spread on a taco shell made of wonton, lobster rolls so delicious on their little soft buns, short ribs and a darn tasty brown butter sauce with pistachio with the ravioli. Oooo and brunois beets in a dark Demi of some sort, wish I stole the menu this night

I went to PB Steak a couple of months ago with every intention of trying out the Miami Spice menu. Well, that was one big fail. Just what were we thinking? How can we stick to the Miami Spice menu(which seemed great by the way) when there were so many other dishes«we just had to» try? And try them we did! Maine Lobster Rolls Ceviche Taquitos Tomato Watermelon Burrata Salad House Made Bacon Confit Pork Cheek Ravioli Mac & Cheese Ribeye Miso Roasted Black Cod Apple Pie Jar Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding French Toast Sticks FML I rarely say this but, ALLOFITWASDELICIOUS! The miso black cod rivals only the one at Nobu. I know it’s a big claim, but I mean it. I had several«moments» with it. It’s not one you would think would stand out at a «mostly pork» place huh? But the miso, the flakiness, and temperature was just as it should be. Those lobster rolls I mentioned? Ha! I had to practice a lot of self control to not order more of those. Although a bit messy, we did order two of the ceviche taquitos. Mmm Mmm Mmm. Now, we need to talk about the FML. No, not the usual FML you are thinking of. This is their dessert called FML. It stands for FUDGEMYLIFE. It is composed of a frozen fudge custard, salted peanut foam, homemade marshmallows and has a graham cookie crumble(check out my photo). It comes in a glass jar and meant to be shared(as everything else) but you won’t want to! I don’t care how full you think you are, you WILL finish this dessert. The décor here is what I would call Farmhouse Chic. Even though it has exposed wooden beams and chalkboard walls, it is just charming with it’s dimmed lighting and casual elegance. The restaurant is full of energy everywhere you look. The bar was packed twice deep and every single table was full. Our waiter was(incredibly hot and all of us ladies were smitten– ha!) on top of everything all night long. Our wine was served promptly, food was out in perfect timing, and any request we had(no matter how big or small), he fulfilled promptly and with a smile. PB Steak is now on my list of favorites and I look forward to my next visit. NOTE: PB is pescatarian friendly(they had no problem serving the bacon on the side of our mac and cheese) but NOT friendly if you are vegan or a «non fish eating, ova lacto vegetarian.»

I hate this place. There is nothing nice about it. Made reservation for 9pm for a group of 8. It was back when Miami Spice was going on and we had 4 couples all excited to try the menu. We got there ONTIME and yet, we were not seated until about 10:30!!! yes, over an hour and half. They had us at the bar standing up and feeling pain in our feet with no consideration. When we were finally seated, we were told if we ordered the miami spice, all of us had to get it and ALLOFUSHADTOGETTHESAMETHING!!! WAITWHAT!!! are you telling me I’m spending 50 dollars+ including drink per person for a 500 bill and you are gonna tell me what I can or cant eat? On top of that the waiter was rude and we actually thought he might have been drunk. He rushed our ordering and told us the kitchen had to close soon. OFCOURSEWEKNOW! THATSWHYTHERESERVATIONWASFOR9pm! Lets talk about the food: most plates were not memorable, the tacos were tasty but very expensive, and the desserts were just plain HORRIBLE. The steak was expensive and greasy. and the drinks were pricey and if it wasnt for me telling the waitress that according to the menu, my drink came with high end vodka, she would have used the well kind and charge me anyways. On top of that we asked the waiter beforehand to split the bills by couple. He said he could do the math later«that he was good at it» that he just wanted to put the order rush. Guess he wasnt that good cause we ended up splitting evenly because he couldnt figure out how to split a 500 dollar bill by 4!!! Oh and the hostessed made it seem like it was our fault that they couldnt rush out closing time… we were still eating when they turned on the lights and shut the music!!!

I think I may be the only one here not totally sold on the Pubbelly cult. I tried out Pubbelly last year and was left feeling meh — food was good but not great, and the bill reflected a meal that should’ve been awesome, not average. However, after hearing rave reviews from several friends I finally checked out PB Steak last night. Almost everything we tried was spectacular and we managed to sample quite a bit. Must Haves: *Beef Tartare Sliders *Dates Avec Chorizo *Ceviche Taquitos All of these had AMAZING flavors. I only had one of each, and it definitely left me wanting more. Only If You Saved Room: *Short Rib Entrée *Carbonara Mac Both of these were also great, but not quite up there with the tapas. I Would Skip: *Bacon Confit *French Onion Soup Dumplings The bacon confit was tasty but also shockingly spicy — not something i’m a big fan of(and which wasn’t mentioned on the menu). The french onion soup dumplings were good… but lacking salt maybe? They definitely weren’t as good as everything else. We finished off our meal with a cinnamon bun bread pudding, which was great. It was topped with a bit of salt, which cut the heavy sweetness of the overall dish really nicely. Overall the service was good but nothing to write home about. I hear it can be pretty hit or miss. Realistically, if you’re coming here it’s for the delicious inventive tapas style food, not for stellar service. I think saying about $ 60pp(we spent a little less, but ate light) with a coktail or two is about right, however you could spend much more depending on your appetite.

Came here on the last day of Miami Spice, and it was the best decision of my life. We originally looked up the spice menu on the spice website and had our hearts set on a few items. PB Steak uses seasonal, fresh ingredients and keeps their menu living and up to date each week. Unfortunately the items we drooled about on the drive down weren’t offered that week. That actually didn’t disappoint us because the new spice menu was stocked of amazing dishes. We started with the hamachi crudo, yellowtail taquitos, and escarole salad. I’m not a big raw fish fan, and that crudo changed my mind. Really great flavors and the garlic chips on top added a nice crunch and different texture. The taquitos were incredible. Just incredible. Comes with a spicy sauce on the side that really adds to the dish. I could have done without the salad. The anchovies made it too salty for our liking. Maybe we let it sit too long though since we dived into the other dishes first. Next was the dates avec chorizo and the pork cheek ravioli. I can’t say anything more about these two dishes except if you don’t order them, you’re missing out on life. Truly delicious. I would like some more of both right now. Our entrees were the skirt steak and lamb meatballs. It mentioned the skirt steak was to come with chimichuri. We didn’t see that on the steak or taste it at all so that was a let down because I’m a big chimichuri girl. I will say they cooked our steak perfectly to our liking(medium). The lamb meatballs were yumma! Dessert was the cinnamon bread pudding… YES! Oh my was this heaven in a dessert. Definitely try it! The only reason I didn’t give PB Steak 5 stars is because service was lacking that night. Our server took forever to check on us, didn’t bring things as we asked, etc. I’ll definitely return to PB Steak many times over though. The food is incredible. Check out all the PubBelly Restaurant group spots. They’re all divine.

Came here for Miami spice on a Tuesday night and it was pretty awesome. We didn’t have a reservation but there was no wait for a table around 9pm. Drinks were creative, tasty and expensive. For food we did the 6 courses for $ 39 each. Each course was family style and a great taste of the entire menu. Memorable items were the steak tartar sliders, hamachi tacos, scallops, skirt steak, brussel sprouts, some apple dessert. I can’t wait to try PB sushi and the original Pubbelly.

There’s nothing worse than going to an expensive birthday dinner that disappoints. You end up splitting the bill(of course, the birthday boy/girl doesn’t have to pay) and that’s even if you just order a salad while the rest of the table opts for pricey cocktails and juicy steaks. Bitterness aside, it was a birthday that brought me to PB Steak and for once, I left satisfied and happy even after footing the hefty bill. We came at 7:30pm on a Saturday night and it was relatively empty but after that, the crowds started trickling in. Our waiters were super attentive and quick to take our drink order and bring out some heavenly warm bread in a paper sack. There were four of us who would have been happy to eat everything on the menu but alas, decisions had to be made and made they were. Word to the wise — order in waves because our total of about 9 dishes came out rapidly fast from the kitchen. I don’t think any of us talked or drank for about 30 minutes straight. Just stuffed our mouths with delicious food. Standouts include the pork cheek ravioli, short rib bone marrow, Florida heirloom tomato salad with burrata, Brussels sprouts, and of course, the steak. I could have had full plates of all those dishes but was left secretly hoping the others wouldn’t take the last bite of the smaller plates. Somehow we had room for dessert — cinnamon roll bread pudding and the adequately named FML. I don’t know which was my favorite but do know they were both worth the food coma. The staff was great at clearing empty plates quickly and even lit a candle in honor of my friend’s birthday. I loved the atmosphere of this place too. We all left full and happy. Between the four of us, our bill came out to $ 250 and we ate every last bite. Pricey? Yes. But if the occasion is right, go for it.

With PB Steak, the newest jewel in their Sunset Harbour empire, the Pubbelly Boys have done it again. Rustic farmhouse décor, favorites from the original Pubbelly, the addition of perfectly cooked steaks(with toppings and sauces galore), and the fact that they take reservations make PB Steak an all-around winner. The location(in the old Joe Allen/Morgan’s/Georgia’s Union spot) is more spacious than the original or Pubbelly Sushi, and the reconfiguration they’ve done really makes the best of the space. I’ve tried a variety of small plates, including the French onion soup dumplings, the ceviche tacos with yellowtail, the escargot, the lobster roll, and of course the tried-and-true dates avec chorizo and PB brussels sprouts. As for steak, I can only speak for the filet, which at 8 oz., comes sliced in about 6 pieces, ready for sharing and/or dipping, and on the 2 occasions I’ve had it — was perfectly cooked to my medium-rare specification. The shiso bernaise is unique and tasty, but I’ve never been a big fan of «extras» with my steaks. Everything’s delicious and made for sharing — something to keep in mind while ordering, for sure. PB Steak also offers a nice cocktail collection. The French 75 and the Scarlet Letter have both served me well. The dessert menu, while limited, also offers some gems. The apple-pie-in-a-jar was the perfect ending to a filling meal — the dulce de leche cream filling, layered between apple jelly and whipped cream, was to-die-for. The french toast sticks were delicious, but a bit too heavy for my taste. Prices are on par with the other Pubbelly establishments. Expect to spend about $ 60/person with a cocktail, a bit less without. Service is good — I’ve been lucky enough to have attentive servers on both my visits thus far. The Pubbelly Boys themselves are often in the house, so don’t be surprised if they stop by your table to make sure you’re having a great time. Valet parking is available, and there’s a small public lot across the street. But your best parking bet is the newly-opened Sunset Harbour garage, about a block and a half away. PB Steak adds another feather to the well-appointed cap of the Pubbelly empire. It’s another welcome addition to the burgeoning Sunset Harbour neighborhood.
