What an amazing little place! The owners go out of their way to make you feel like a part of the family. Décor is very nice, everything you see makes you feel like you are having a home made meal with that touch of French. If you are near the South Beach area, stop by try; The Green Toast, espresso and fresh squeezed orange juice, the have a fruit tart. The staff is super attentive and courteous! One thing to be highly noted is the warmth of the owners as they employ staff members that suffer from autism. That to me is priceless! Keep up the amazing work and know that you have gained a customer for life!

My first day in Miami and I stumbled on this place. I was looking for something healthy and their Green Toast caught my attention. Their décor is super cute and whimsical with an armoire to fix your coffee and another armoire filled with healthier snacks. Their case was filled with treats, but I was so focused on the Green Toast that I had tunnel vision. My order came out fairly quickly and came with a side of roasted potatoes and a basil pesto sauce. Ohmyheavens it was so delicious! I preferred the potatoes to be a little saltier, but when paired with the pesto sauce. .. it was like I forgot all my problems and worries in life. It was seriously so, so good. The Green Toast has mashed avocado with two poached eggs on top all resting on a large piece of whole wheat toast. The good Lord Himself must’ve grown these avocados because they were super fresh and tasted like how avocados should. The eggs were perfectly poached and adding that basil pesto sauce. .. I was dancing. I could die because I had fulfilled my #palategoals. I only had water to drink, but they left water bowls for puppies outside the storefront which I thought was cute! I definitely recommend this place and with it being steps from the beach, it’s absolutely perfect!

Service was decent and food was perfectly presented and cooked. My omelette was great and so was the espresso. The poached eggs on avocado toast looked amazing and will definitely be what I order next time. Loved the place and location in SoFi, our favorite Miami Beach neighborhood next to Sunset Harbour.

Wow! The foods here are excellent! Only fresh foods enter to the cook and then to your mouth. They have bakery items like fruit pastries, croissants, cupcakes and scones. My kids had the blueberry muffins and just loved them. They were really crumbly and moist. The berries were fresh too. My wife had the eggs Benedict. All of it was fresh and filling. So filling, that she had to take it home at eat it later. I had the eggs florentine. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sauce smooth, silky and creamy, and all ingredients were fresh. My kids also had fresh squeezed orange juice. It was very good. We ordered from a counter where they give you a number and then deliver to your table. We sat outside as the inside was small and only 6 or so peeps could sit in there. The prices were high but the food was delish! Thanks and keep up the great works!

Probably the best cortadito I had while in Miami. We had a lovely breakfast — the poached eggs with avocado, and an omelette. Service was friendly, and the outdoor seating was just beautiful. Start your day off here and follow it with a stroll in gorgeous South Pointe Park behind the café; a perfect morning!

Cute, bright, bohemian café in South Beach with indoor and outdoor seating. I came for a pastry, but they have full meals, too, i.e. breakfast and lunch. Definitely a nice place to visit! Prices may be slightly higher than your typical café, but the location is stellar, just blocks from the beach. They also support autism, which is cool.

Since I had never been to South Beach, I decided to take a drive down and spend the morning there. While I was there I visited Lee & Marie’s Cakery Company for some breakfast and a Cappuccino. First let me say that the location is excellent. It’s a very short walk to the beach. The food is as fresh as it gets and the coffee is excellent. I ordered the poached eggs with guacamole on toast. You can tell that these are the best quality, cage-free eggs because of the color of the yolks. They were poached to perfection served with the freshest guacamole and a side of delicious basil sauce. So I spent the entire morning on the beach and went back for some more coffee and dessert. The Café Bom Bom is a treasure that you absolutely must try! Whenever I can make it down to South Beach, this will be my go-to place! Between the spectacular location, superb food, stellar service and delightful décor, this place is a true winner!

Almond and chocolate croissants were good. Eggs Benedict was good. Coffee was good. Service was friendly. The only reason it didn’t get a 5 star was that things written on the menu wall that were offered, weren’t available. They had a little clipboard of what was available for breakfast and lunch, and even then, they had run out of bacon by 9:30 am. Cute atmosphere though. If I was close by, I would come back.

Wherever we travel, my husband and I do a bakery tour to sample all the pastries the place has to offer. Miami beach can definitely hold its own, thanks in large part to Lee&Maries. The scones and croissants at this place are up with the best I’ve eaten and their mission of providing meaningful employment to individuals with autism can make you feel good about all the calories you will ingest while here.

Wonderful little place in south beach! They support a great cause and the cupcakes are delicious and food is great! They box up the sandwiches too so you can bring them to beach to have lunch on the beach! I will absolutely be back! Thank you!

This is my first time at Lee’s and I loved it! It has an antique/French aesthetic. Makes you feel right at home in a quaint little kitchen. Has great breakfast option as well as pastries and coffee.

I have been living in the beach for a month and a half, I have worked here for 2 years now and I have been a regular visitor for the last 15 years. I don’t know how long this place has been open for, but I am annoyed I had never seen it before. This is not your typical SOBE café that serves tourists, you can tell the owners took their sweet time and put a lot of thought and love into this little joint. Location is awesome and so is the décor. The space inside could use some rea-arranging. lots of wasted space, but who am I to criticize. Dishes are large enough to leave you satisfied. the egg omelette was great! They are also a positive influence on their community. Just read their mission statement on the window… BTW… All baked goods are a go…

Very nice people working here. Stopped in near closing on a Sunday and had bread pudding & a cinnamon roll. Neither was great but not terrible either. Bread pudding had chocolate in it – everyone makes this dish so differently it’s fun trying it everywhere. Chocolate in my. Read pudding is not something I like however. Nice outside seating in a clean quiet area right across from Nikki Beach. I’ll try them again and test out some other stuff.

I, literally, bit off more than I could chew. I came in, was in an adrenaline rush due to the location, décor and proximity of baked goods and I ordered a WEDGE(a slab, a chunk) of caramel coconut cake… and a latte. It was too much — and that’s entirely my fault. One, I tend to lose my mind in SoFi. It just feels so… different from the rest of South Beach that when I’m spending time there, I tend to act recklessly and without abandon. Yes, the prices are high here. But, again, you’re in SoFi. It’s to be expected. Two, the bakery feels nothing like Miami — and that’s a very cool(good) thing. I’m not hating on the Magic City. It’s just nice to be in a spot that exudes an energy that’s not at all native to the area. The shabby chic furniture… the high ceilings… the bright lights… the communal wooden table… all of it just seems so dangon precious(again, in a good way). I could spend hours here just chilling out and ‘doing work.’* Three, the baked goods are large, in charge and entirely decadent. The cake slices are big. The frosting is thick and the flavors are bold. This is not a skinny girl™ bakery. This is a stick-to-your-bones I-like-cake bakery and I love every bite. That said, exercise some restraint and go light on the order. I went all in despite being warned by the clerk and regretted it. I have a strong sweet tooth(and pimp hand) and I struggled to get through the inch of icing and super sweet cake set before me. A smaller piece would have done me just fine. My gluttony got the best of me that day. Thankfully, the latte helped to cut the cake(ha!) and enable me to finish. Yes, despite struggling through, I managed to eat the whole thing in one setting. I’m no rookie. Four, the mission of the bakery is commendable. Shining light on and employing those on the autism spectrum, the owner has dedicated herself to helping those who can(and, most times, are) overlooked and ignored. It’s not everyday that you know your money is going to a greater good. Here, you know it. You can eat sweet things and do sweet things all at the same time and that makes me feel good(as i assault my sexy with unneeded calories and pounds). You have a choice in your consumerism. Choose wisely. *Eating.

Decadent, quaint, friendly, fantastic. I tried the cocount and chocolate croissants, blondie, and carrot cake. The coco croissant and carrot cake were my favorites. The coconut flavor was embedded in the dough of the croissant, creating a delicate and balanced flavor. The moist carrot cake lacked not for carrot flavor, which I love. The cream cheese icing was a perfectly light compliment to its depth. The blondie was good though it didn’t blow me away. Our cashier/server smiled broadly as she advised us about the various baked goods. She later called upon the owner to answer a friend’s questions about purchasing a cake for the holidays, which she did with pleasure. I’m eager to return and try one of those heaping salads at which I gandered during my visit. I see a fifth star in Lee & Marie’s future if they’re as good as they look! Bottom Line: Much needed sweets and breakfast shop in Sofi surpasses expectations in quality and service.

The breakfast crowd in this part of the beach is a niche market eagerly waiting to be tapped. Good news! Lee & Marie’s is now open to serve all your coffee and breakfast(and even lunch) needs! Serving up Panther coffee and freshly made pastries, this place has a country-house feel to it. There’s a big farmhouse-style table inside and quite a few smaller tables outside. The staff is friendly and eager to assist. I popped in on a recent Sunday morning, and was pleasantly surprised to see the place was busy — very busy. I opted for a latte and a blueberry and cheese danish, both of which were brought out to my table in a jiffy. The coffee was great, and the pastry was quite tasty. Prices are reasonable. Pastries are $ 2-$ 4, same for coffee. The lunch menu features sandwiches and salads, in the $ 9-$ 13 range. I plan to be back to try many more of the pastries and lunch offerings. The only not-so-great element of Lee & Marie’s is the parking situation. If you go for breakfast, and are outside of walking distance, you’ll likely find metered spots aplenty. Just make sure you pay the meters sufficiently — with season approaching, the Parking Authority is out in full force.
