7 shots=$ 210 really. Such a joke! The bar tenders take advantage of you and tell you tehy can’t make a drink or are out of a certain type of liquor so they can scan you and charge u for the more expensive alcohol. Disgusting would rather give my business to a hotel/bar that is legit and honest vs a place that scams abs takes advantage of their customers !!!

The pool party here every Saturday is the best in SOBE! It was rated number 3 in the world. You will not find a greater collection of beautiful people anywhere. They recently installed a cryo system so they can literally make the pool disappear in fog. Expect lots of champagne! Sprayed drank and everything else. I know a great promoter for HYDE he is honest and not sketchy, message me on Unilocal and I’ll send you his info!

Finally made it out to Hyde during a recent SOBE staycation. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the following night as well. I was apprehensive at first. While I am down on Miami Beach for dinner almost every weekend, I don’t typically stick around for the nightclub scene. I was pleasantly surprised. The entrance is outdoors and directly behind the SLS. The men working the front were very pleasant, welcoming, and professional. None of the expected SOBE snobbery going on here. The pool is not in use at night, but its surrounding areas are beautiful. The outdoor fans help ease up our typical muggy and overly hot Miami nights. I preferred the indoor space because, of course, it was much cooler. The center inside seating area is reserved for the semi-private parties, but as the night goes on people stand everywhere. The DJ played a little bit of everything and was not solely EDM(which was refreshing). As for drinks, well, yes they are expensive. So is everything down on the beach. Good luck finding anything worthy that is affordable. It’s ALL overpriced. Thankfully, I usually just go for several drinks and not to drink all night. We found a bartender we liked outside and stuck with him all night. He would see us walking back towards him and with just a hand signal, he knew we wanted another round. Fab! The crowd was quite mixed: locals, tourists, young, old and everything in between. NOTETOMIAMIMEN: seems like they badly need you at Hyde. The amount of women outnumbered the men there significantly. The people watching was quite entertaining. I had a lot of fun both nights. Hyde is great to start or end the night and I highly recommend it as an after dinner spot if dining at Bazaar or Katsuya.

This place is gross. If you want an ugly bouncer to judge you and tell you if you’re good looking enough to join their club — have fun. I glanced at the bouncer’s list and she LITERALLY has a list of names that is entitled«beautiful people». Hilarious. And let me tell you — its all chicks. Not that I would go to this place to find men anyways(because ew) but if you are looking to pick up men, don’t go here.

Don’t waste your time, don’t waste your money!!! I have been in so many pool parties in Las Vegas I expected so much better from South Beach… But this«pool party» is a joke!!! 1– they guy from the door(good looking by the way) act like he’s so important like here is my place and here is where Tiesto and Calvin Harris play and you can’t have fun with us… b*tch pleeeease 2-A soonest I step into that place I knew it will be boring 3-the vibe SUCKS it feels like you aren’t in a pool party it feels like some stupid rich kid from college has his own party in his own house and he’s not even popular, no fun at all 4– the Dj SUCKSBIGTIME and I bet a Sunday baptist church chorus has more fun and rhythm than this guy 5-the pool is soooo little looks like a back yard pool 6-I don’t know if is a South Beach thing but people go there just to spend $ 2000 dollars bottle and try to look cool with the girlfriend on the side very stuck up with a bunch of plastic surgery in her face in his Cabana(very small by the way) 7-There’s no dancing or everybody got in the same kind of vibe that I believe it is the purpose of any pool party, I don’t know if it was because the music that sucks or is just the entire atmosphere who sucks too. 8-$ 20dlls for a small tequila sunrise, really? Expensive as hell they charge so high for the drinks like you having the time of your life dancing with the best DJ on the entire world and you are in a such beautiful spot, those $ 20 dlls still hurting me because that drink it wasn’t even strong to make me forget about the such a boring and lame place I was… 9– I don’t ask for«girls gone wild» kind of fun at all(that’s tacky) but at least MAKEPEOPLEDANCEANDENJOYTHEMUSICWITH A BETTERDJBECAUSEYOUENTIREPLACEANDPOOLSUCKS! 10-people from California or if you have been in any Vegas pool party DON’T GOHEREPLEASE you going to regret it…

Wish we never ever came, and will never ever come again! We do this event every year somewhere else and by far this event at Hyde Beach was the worst ever! Just hosted hubby’s 40th birthday here. Planned our event in advance and came to preview our cabana(because we always cross our t’s and dot our I’s). Wish this place was as organized as we were. During the preview they showed us our private enclosed cabana which had a TV, seating, ceiling fan and area to set up for drinks…, when we returned the next day at the event they took us to an area with seating(no tv, no covered cabana, no fan and it was hot as hell) we were not happy at all. Talk about bait and switch. The workers were rude as hell told me some BS about the city has new codes and they could not give us a covered cabana … I’m in real estate I let her know that was some ish and were just showed our cabana less than 24 hrs prior to the event. We then needed the manager. They gave us a small discount after arguing about them providing us with an area which not up to par with what we signed up for but let me tell you this, it was dirty with other people’s dirty cups, cigarettes and when we asked for new cups the worker argued about it being clean then said«Fine» but he would give us PLASTIC cups instead of glass ones and he proceeded to talk ish to the other workers about us wanting clean cups. This place gets an F for Horrible Service, complete LACK of Communication, no sense of sorry«let us make this right for you» and the music wasn’t good. If we did not have a large group of friends inconvenienced we would have not thought twice about leaving right then and there.

The drinks here are indeed really exciting and fun. Food options are a mix from Katsuya and Bazaar, so you can try best of both worlds in one place. Amazing. We had few rolls and a cob salad. Cob Salad was a bit too fatty by the end, but some might like that. Rolls are wonderful, even the naruto roll with no rice. Prob best naruto roll I have ever tried. As far as the pool area, try sit on the chairs towards the beach entrance if you want sunshine.

Big glowing pools, beautiful view of the SLS hotel tower and pretty outdoor lights hanging on the trees. Best part was the #HydeWithUs photo booth to take high quality flash photos with you and your friends. The music was a lot better than I expected, a mix of pop and hip-hop, top 40 and rap. Beautiful(pretentious) women from all over the world everywhere. Nice club, it’s just not my scene.

No line drama if you are a hotel guest. I had a bad hotel stay so my review is biased. They are definitely one of the pretentious clubs in SoBe. I came when it first opened years ago and had a great time. This time, not so much. My one drink was $ 31. Completely ridiculous… yes, I realize it is Miami but seriously? The music is all techno/Euro which is not my taste. I prefer Rec room across the way and the new Edition hotel.

I had higher expectations of this place based on stories from friends and the reviews. The VIBE: 4 Stars — Door guys were actually very friendly, which is abnormal for clubby places. The setup and décor is pretty legit, although if you don’t reserve a daybed/cabana, be prepared to stand a lot or not be by the pool itself. The music was very good, DJ knew what he was doing and wasn’t anyone famous. Just a very solid playlist and the crowd liked it. NOTE: Be prepared for the lame«Champagne Entrances» every time someone wastes 1K to spray… The SERVICE: 1.5 Stars — Yikes. These people need a reality check. I get that most of them have probably been doing this awhile but they are either very jaded and sad people or so robotic-fake it hurts the vibe. Need a lot of improvement here. The DRINKS: 1 Star — $ 12 for a CAN beer, $ 11 for a Bottle of Water. Seriously. The Bottom Line — Overall… meh. Unless you have a rich friend who wants to dump a few grand on a cabana, look for other fun beach spots with(slightly) less expensive drinks and better servers. Crowd is just as pretty at the W.

Miami Basic. Swung by here for«brunch» which is basically just Sunday Funday at the pool. We made a reservation ahead of time but the door guy said he didn’t even check it and let us in… oh the games you play. I expected at least a little doucheyness but was surprised to find none! Our server was delightful and the door guys were chill. We ordered a pitcher of mojitos which were delicious but not even remotely strong. As expected, the drink prices were steeeeeeeeep($ 18/glass, $ 80/pitcher, $ 200/vase). The pool was gorgeous and there was at least one bachelorette party there stirring things up. Pro tip — don’t order the water, they have a water cooler sitting out near the restrooms. PS, be sure to snap a pic with that giant duck!!!

Fun place! What a nice décor! You can dance and lounge either or! 1. I wish smoking was only allowed outside — it was hard to breathe w all the smoking going on inside as well. 2. Why are the drinks so expensive?! This is a huge place! I would have bought way more than just 1 drink if it wasn’t for the $ 25 for a vodka+cran! Crazy! Other than that great place! Must check out when in Miami!

mmm I’m wavering between whether I want to say I hate Hyde Beach or that I loathe it. Either way, it sucks. It is really easy to think you like it here, but in actuality there is zero fun to be had, it is just a packed room of pretentious south beach assholes sniffing each other’s asses. As a girl, it is somewhat easy to get in without paying a cover, so that’s a plus… however, free cover means having to let a grubby promoter rub on your ass and fighting for couch space in a sectioned off area where you are force fed vodka-crans like a caged [sexy] beast. The staff here is also extremely rude. The guys out front are actually pretty nice, but once you get past the ropes, everyone treats you like you just kicked a puppy or something. Bar staff naturally acts like they are doing you a favor and the security here is on par with the douches at LIV. I sat down on a reserved couch for one minute to fix my shoe and literally the second my bum hit the seat, security is in my face screaming at me to «get up!» Dancing? none. Maybe a handful of dudes bobbing their head to the music and a few girls grinding each other, but Hyde Beach is really not the dancing atmosphere, it is more a place to get dolled up and then just let yourself be seen. Yes, the SLS is beautiful and decorated all funky and the outside is super chic, but once you get past the photo op with the gigantic rubber ducky, Hyde Beach blows.

This place is pretty. There are cabanas surrounding the pool and the DJ for the Saturday pool party was excellent. The drink prices were a bit outrageous, but I guess it’s been a while since I’ve partied in my hometown. $ 18 is pretty expensive and they automatically add on gratuity. The vibe was awesome and it was not crowded, which is my style of pool partying. When the pool and the people in it look questionable, I tend not to like it. But there were only a few people in the pool so I jumped in. All in all, a decent place to party by the pool but be prepared to shell out some serious dough for drinks.

Spacious, roomy, good drinks, good service. Never felt that it was too hot or too humid like some night clubs are like. Music — can be a hit or miss sometimes. The DJ is so so. Not sure if there was a cover or not, I got in for free as a friend of ours knew the bouncer. As usual, make sure the guy: girl ratio is not too high.

See and be seen! This is one of THE best places to visit when in South Beach. Always a fun crowd. Table service is definitely the way to go. If not you’re stuck without a place to sit and without a place to put your stuff. My only complaint would be that the pool needed to be cleaned. It had that Vegas(Rehab) merky water look. Granted, unlike Vegas you could see the bottom of the pool. But it still had that layer of sunscreen, oil, etc layer floating on it too thickly. The waitresses that serve the tables are wonderful. So sweet and so much fun! This is a great place to hangout during the day when in South Beach!

Hyde Beach is currently my favorite spot for a night out on the town in South Beach. The club is located at the back of the SLS property, just past the pool. They have both indoor and outdoor areas, with the only bar spanning the far wall inside. Tables line both sides of the indoor area, but there’s a good amount of seating outside for the masses. Just watch out — when it rains(which happens frequently), everyone crowds under the small overhang, so you’re bound to get wet, whether you’re just coming in, or trying to maneuver to the restroom. Drink prices are typical South Beach — expect to spend $ 18 – 20 for a drink, with tax and gratuity automatically added on. Of course, they offer bottle service and all the fan-fare that comes along with it(scantily clad servers, sparklers, shouting). Not sure on prices, but I’d expect Hyde Beach is comparable to other establishments around town. The music selection is usually awesome, and perfect for dancing. They have a mini-dance floor near the DJ booth in the far corner of the club, but we usually just create our own dance party wherever we can carve out enough space. The doors are always open to the outside, so it can get quite warm inside Hyde Beach. There are a few a/c vents to stand under to try and catch a bit of cool air, but you’re better off just stepping outside and sidling up to one of the many fans they have going.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! I had a birthday party at Hyde Beach and it was a BLAST! We had the largest cabana available, in the back of the last pool. Multiple bottles of magnum rose and champagne were ordered, as well as pitchers of strawberry mojitos. Our group, after a long night out the night before, also ordered a ton of food. The menu is by Chef Jose Andres and it all hit the spot: –Fresh fruit platter –Watermelon and tomato platter –Cuban sandwich sliders(FAV) –SLS burger –Sushi! Spicy tuna, salmon roll, rainbow roll –Crispy chicken salad We ordered multiple orders of all of the above. The staff was so helpful and pleasant and our group of 20 enjoyed a wonderful day in the sun! I will upload some pics too. Thank you Hyde Beach for a wonderful day! XOXO
