Azul Spirits & Wines

I’m only giving them 4 stars because I am a very demanding wine drinker and spoiled by specialty wine stores back home in DC. It is very difficult to find a well stocked wine store on Miami beach, one that obviously knows the good stuff in all price ranges. That’s why in so glad I found Azul! They carry some of the all time greatest wines that are rare and hard to find. You won’t find mt veeder Cabernet in just any wine store.
Unless you feel like hauling it out to total wines or have the time to go to el carajo in coral gables, this is the ticket.
I wish they had fewer Liquors and more wines but that’s how all wine stores operate in Miami beach. I also like their policy that if you happen to get a wine that is corked, you can return it and they will not only give you a fresh bottle but they will send the entire batch back to the distributor to be exchanged.
It’s not cheap. They do have wines on the lower end but their lower end for reds is $ 25. Maybe a few more around $ 20 would be good. All in all, thank goodness for Azul. Parking is a beast though.

5 stars for the extensive Scotch collection. They had many that my Scotch fanatic father hadn’t even ever heard of. $ 2 beers too.

From the pantry staples to the obscure, Azul has it all. Their service is always awesome and the store is just plain nice to walk into, no people talking to themselves brown bagging it outside, when’s the last time you could say as much about a liquor store?
