Whataburger

Usually, I’m very lenient with late orders but +40 min for one burger is a bit far-​fetched. My order was not only delayed but forgotten as customers after me received their orders before me. It took me 3 times to remind the cashier about my order. Never returning again.

I’m actually from Corpus Christi which is the home of the Whataburger so I feel like I know how it should be properly done. Back home it ALWAYS took awhile to get your food… we don’t even consider it «fast food» so to speak. Of course the expectation is typically that you shouldn’t have to wait long… I get it so for that I took one star off. HOWEVER, I have had the most perfectly crafted and proportioned Whataburgers at this location since I left home! None of that sloppy mess I get from some other locations… to me quality is worth the extra time! Just make sure you don’t go there in a rush!

This is the slowest whataburger in the drive through I’ve ever been too. Now if they are cooking the food fresh then fine. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Every time i go here and drive 2 minutes to my house the fries are limp and greasy like they have been sitting there all day. I have order gravy twice from this place and the first time the whole thing spilled in the bag because it wasn’t closed right and they just threw it in the bag. Second time it was filled up a quarter of the way. Screw this place. Luckily there are whataburgers everywhere around the area and haven’t had these same issues.

BIG BUG found in my hamburger, I used to like this location but this was my last time going there! I went on my 30 min lunch break and when I returned to work and opened my burger to make sure it was correct I found a big dead bug just sitting there! Naturally I was disgusted I immediately went back and complained they offered to make me another I refused and informed them they officially lost a customer. By far the most disgusted and horrified I have ever been by any type of dining experience. *note always check your food!

Ehh avoid this place if you can. Drive thru guy was nice and it is close to my work but the line TAKES FOREVER! They also messed up my order both times I’ve been… Luckily my gift card is out of money so I’m free from this place.

Id give no stars if I could. Simple order with no customization screwed up. Upgraded all four breakfast combos with oj. ($ 3 in upgrade cost mind you). Order was wrong and I didn’t get the oj. Didn’t bother going back. No telling what those workers would have done to my food trying. To get a correct order. Never going back here again. I suggest you stay away from this location!!!

What started as a light hearted adventure to get a single kid’s meal and an order of fries has turned into a neverending nightmare. In the time that we’ve been sitting in the drive thru line for Whataburger, I’ve had time to sign up for Unilocal and download the app after the mobile site wouldn’t let me write a review. And that was only after being trapped in this line for at least 20 minutes with no hope of escape, as there were cars both directly in front and behind us. I firmly believe that I am typing this review from my grave. We have given up all hope of making it through this experience alive. Don’t forget us.
EDIT: We did end up surviving the experience, but in our haste to leave so that we could see our family and tell them to retract the Missing Person’s alert we forgot to check the food to make sure it was correct. Turns out that over 40 minutes just isn’t enough time to get something right because they forgot our order of fries and somehow managed to not even put cheese on the burger. They did, however, put a whole lot of mustard on it, even though my sister specifically asked them not to. And they gave her a sugar cookie instead of a chocolate chip one. Definitely my worst drive thru experience

I showed up after the lunch rush, it was a little messy, I’m guessing from the high school patrons across the street. Staff was friendly, even singing at one point! Food was fresh and hot!
