The food was awesome. I got the scallops the coconut shrimp and the lobster mash potatoes. I recommend the food but NOTBRITTANY! The server John her section partner sounded awesome! We were left wishing we were in his section. She took forever to greet us, forever to bring the biscuits, barely checked on us, my drink was gross, she didn’t offer desert, and when we asked for the check she walked away and came back 10 minutes later asking if we were ready for our check… we heard her complaining about the number of tables she had. As a server some advice Brittany is is tell someone when you are weeded! She was just awful. Hearing John and how awesome he was is the only reason we might come back. As long as we don’t get her!

We were in for lunch on Saturday. We have been in here a few times before. I try not to go here too often because I think anything other than the lunch specials is horribly overpriced. Honestly, the only reason we ended up here is because my son wanted to pet a lobster. My wife and son not so concerned about paying the mortgage, both ordered the double lobster tail special. The lobster on both plates was terribly overcooked. It was very tough and rubbery. I could easily have grabbed some at the store, grabbed some random recipe online, and done a much better job cooking them. My wife also ordered a mojito and it was incredibly weak. The service was good, but that was the only bright side to the meal. Next time, I will take my son to the pet store and let him hold a hermit crab, because it will take a lot to get me in the door here again.

Only have a one because I could not give a zero. Place was hot they put in front of a window gave us menu left and didn’t even take our drink orders. Could not complain because nobody around so we got up to leave and my son told people at front desk. Their reply was okay so glad we left with that response.

My husband and I paid $ 85 for a meal that was nothing but rubbery, overcooked lobster and watered down drinks from the bar. We arrived during the lunch hour, far from their busiest times and ordered drinks from the bar. We didn’t actually receive our drinks until about half way into the meal. I have a feeling they had been sitting at the bar because they were watered down and tasteless. The most disgusting part was that there were fruit flies and gnats flying around us the entire time. I wasted almost $ 100 on a less than satisfying meal and I will never go back.

Very poor service„ I’m used to fast friendly service when I come to red lobster, waited for over 25 minutes at our table without receiving anything(drinks or even biscuits) before my frustration forced me to leave and go to another establishment, the manager on shift was Darlene alphine, she needs some retraining on managing the front of house!

Was greeted friendly, was seated fast. It was my mom’s birthday so they gave us a nice large comfy corner booth even though there was only 3 in our party. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. My mom was thrilled with her food, don’t remember what it was called but she had basically a trough of shrimp linguine, two lobster tails, scallops, and muscles — it could have fed an army(of course there was a two go box needed) and she said it was the best meal she’d ever had in her 68 years and to compliment the chef! Well, if you make the birthday girl happy, then you get 5 stars. :)

My daughter and I ate there. Their biscuits are to die for. They have over a dozen of new things on the menu which makes even harder to make up your mind. You get so much food you know what lunch is tomorrow. I had the grilled lobster claw, grilled shrimp and salmon with green beans. All was delicious.

Love the endless shrimp here. I like that they have decent choices to choose between. The service is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable, and food is of course good. We went here last night on a double date with our friends and the manager came by our table to see if everything came out okay which I liked. I deducted 1 star because our table was literally a couple feet away from where the servers go in and out from the kitchen, and there’s no saloon doors closing off the walkway. So you can see their motivational work-related boards in the back and hear some of the things they are saying behind the wall. I actually didn’t notice this until the middle of our visit, when I saw a guy walking around with a backpack on socializing with the workers in the back.

Save your money! Lousy, cold food, plate not slightly visually appealing. $ 24 for my lobster and bay scallop and shrimp plate… not worth it. Chris was our very inatentive waiter. Will not go back for quite some time if ever. Both husband and I very disappointed! Not worth $$$

Gross! This place is dirty! It stinks like sour mop water. There were fruit flies flying all around us and several dead ones in the dusty window sill. The wall next to us had food splatter all over it. Come on Red Lobster, get it together!

Although the food was good, we were very disappointed at the wait to be seated. There was only 3 tables in use and 2 wait staff on duty. The entire restaurant had a bad smell to it and was a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning.

I had crab legs once, but then I got surgery. Seriously, 10 of us went tonight & I got a platter that had garlic grilled shrimp and also fried shrimp, with a salad & baked potato. I was thoroughly pleased and our waitress was totally helpful, attentive & friendly. Very nice experience & I’m sure we’ll go back… many times.

We’ve never had crab legs before and since we love Deadliest Catch we decided to go and eat some. RL has Crab Fest right now so we decide to go there instead of Joe’s Crab Shack. Not only were they GREAT, but our waiter, Quinton, took the time to teach us how to eat them. He was awesome. We will be back for crab legs again!

Just your typical red lobster, nothing special about this location in particular. The restaurant is very dim and dark, which is why I give a low rating. It’s not even a «romantic» dim. The upkeep in this location is okay, it’s not falling part but it’s not the nicest red lobster I’ve been to. But aside from that, the food consistency is good, everything tastes the same as when I go to other Red Lobsters. Do make sure you try out their Pina Colada!!! IT’S THESHIZNET!

We decided to go be amuse we hadn’t been in years now I remember why. The place is so dark it makes you wonder what they are hiding other than less than mediocre food Cheap wine barely drinkable The biscuits were my favorite part of the meal The stuffed mushrooms were quite good but the main was horrible I had grilled salmon rice and grilled asparagus and it seemed like a safe choice but I have never had grilled salmon this bad before skin on and oily horrible Asparagus over done and rice is bland Will not return

I was starving and needed to get something to eat! My girlfriend navigated me to a row of restaurants in Mesquite and when I saw the Red Lobster sign, I automatically recalled the taste of those Cheddar Bay Biscuits… soooo good! I hadn’t eaten at a Red Lobster in so long so that was my choice! Little did I know, my choice would live with me for the rest of the night, as well as the next morning. The second that we walked in, I smelled feet. I don’t know what the hell that smell was, but it smelled just like feet. I looked around to see if anyone else was smelling this, but everyone seemed oblivious to the smell. I asked my girlfriend did she smell feet, but she didn’t either. She asked if I wanted to leave, but those biscuits were well within reach at this time, and I wasn’t turning around at this point. I told her that I probably would get used to the odor, and sat down. When I went to the restroom to wash my hands, the men’s door was propped wide open. I saw a «wet floor» sign in the middle of the floor as well. This might have had something to do with the foot odor, but I don’t know this for a fact. As the night went on, my sense of smell did adjust and our waitress came by to ask us what we wanted. The service was real good. She brought us our drinks and biscuits and took our food order. The word«flounder» stuck out in the Admiral’s feast description, so that’s what I went with. My girlfriend ordered some type of pasta with shrimp and scallops in it. Our salads and her soup was out literally 1 minute after the waitress left. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. The entrees arrived and I was so underwhelmed. You could really tell that the food was frozen. I’m not an idiot, and I know that Red Lobster is a large chain, and I know what to expect, but this was bad. The flounder almost had the texture of dry chicken. You can tell when something has been frozen for a long time when it’s extremely dried out like that. The coating on the shrimp and fish was bland. It almost tasted as if the food was precooked with the batter on it, and then frozen. Not good at all. As I stated at the beginning, I didn’t feel well the rest of the night and the next morning. I’m not 100% on the cause, but I have a good guess. The biscuits were good, and the service was friendly, but I really can’t recommend coming here for a meal with a good conscience. You may go and like it, but I had to tell you about my personal experience. Thanks.

We came in on a Friday afternoon. As soon as we sat down the waiter took out drink orders and brought them to us along with complementary biscuits. Our soup and salad came out about 5 minutes after that. The Caesar salad was very delicious. Our waiter, Margarito, was very attentive. He was one of the best waiters I’ve had in a while. Service was great, food was great. Will definitely be coming back soon!

We had dinner last night at Red Lobster — Mesquite, TX The wait wasn’t bad at all, 5 – 10 minutes sitting at the bar, where we ordered a beer and glass of wine, which we paid for as we were leaving to be seated. Once seated, the waitress asked what we were drinking? I replied«We’ve already paid for these drinks at the bar,» and she explained that she needed to write down our drinks on her ticket, so she could scan them on her ticket. HUGEREDFLAG! She brought biscuits, then salad and later asked if we needed more biscuits. We said, «Yes.» several minutes later… NOBISCUITS, but she stopped to ask if we needed MORE biscuits? Obviously not remembering that she never brought them in the first place. The entrees arrived and were very tasty. The waitress was friendly and fairly efficient until we got the bill! Sure enough, she had charged us for the beer and wine that we had already paid for in the bar. Remember I had asked why she wanted to know what we were drinking and she said that she had to scan it in??? Next thing we know, the waitress and the manager BILL, were at our table, asking if we wanted to credit our credit card or get cash back. Neither one addressed the fact that she charged us for something we had already paid for and now, it’s about the principle involved/SCAM. I asked the manager to explain why she asked about our drinks in the first place and of course, he tried to explain it off as a misunderstanding. I repeated what I had already told him and that it was NOT a misunderstanding. He left to walk up to the front so he could issue a credit to our credit card and run it again for the correct amount. He never apologized or offered any type of compensation,(i.e. free drink, discount off our dinner, etc.) for the inconvenience of being scammed by his waitress. We get to the car and realize that we had NOCOPYOFOURCREDITCARDBEINGCREDITEDFORTHESCAMMEDAMOUNTOF $ 87.82, so I went back inside and with the help of a competent employee, they managed to get me a receipt that did NOT show a credit, but some BS about a charge tendered… it all seemed very suspicious and I finally made ol’ BILL sign the statement so I could finally get the out of there. Needless to say we WILL not be back to the MESQUITE, TXREDLOBSTER since I am not into getting scammed and ripped off.

This is my first visit to a Red Lobster and what a great first experience it was! I came here for lunch and was promptly greeted and seated. Service from our waitress was up to par. She was friendly, well mannered, proffesional and efficient. I ordered grilled salmon for lunch with broccoli and mash for sides — it was refreshing to have seafood. Salmon was well-cooked and the crispy skin was cooked to perfection! When I visit restaurants, I take into consideration the ambience and music; both of which were up to my standards. Lighting was dimmed just enough for your to see, it made the place feel cosy and the music was not so «in your face» — loud enough for your to hear but quiet enough for you to not shout. Just right! 4 stars Red Lobster! Well done.
