You guys know thar 1s and 2s are restricted to those places that are truly«don’t go theres». Because of its location, I’m sad this one did so poor. The only reason they are getting a 2 is because our waiter, although not attentive, was accommodating. The table next to us remained cleared, but not clean the numerous hours we were there. They knew it was dirty too, because that was the reason given we couldn’t sit there. I ordered the Pot Roast that had few vegetables, no mushrooms(which were pictured and stated in the description), and the vegetables I did have tasted freezer burnt or like they sat in nasty, stagnant water. You know how the lake tastes when there’s been little rain to freshen it up? That was my Pot Roast at this Denny’s. Everyone else was reasonably pleased with their food, although the 70 minute wait after ordering didn’t help. My son’s veggie burger(with bacon?) was hamburger. He likes the flavor of the veggie burgers, so he was disappointed. They did remake it for him in a matter of minutes(???), which meant it was hot compared to lukewarm like the other one. The waiter brought a box for him to take it as a treat for our«puppy». Our mother’s plate was missing the meat(again ???). She said it was good. It was an egg and sausage skillet. She aked for soft boiled eggs and got hard boiled(a total different taste, but she didn’t send it back). I would have especially since she can only have egg yolks once in the bluest of moons. My daughter had a kid’s cheeseburger. It was nothing special. My grandson had the kid’s spaghetti. It too was nothing to write home(or Unilocal) about. My husband had the spicy sausage skillet and it was not as good as he had hoped. Our drink orders were wrong, except mine and my husband’s because how wrong can you get water?! The staff were all friendly, but I was so displeased with my food and the service. I don’t know that I’d go back. The others went for breakfast the next day and said everything was better. I can understand them going, because they walk there from the hotel where Mom always stays.

Let’s start from the beginning. We came in about 8pm. I am with my Dad, older brother and my niece, the manager greeted me by saying«good morning» and looked completely out of it, not even correcting himself. No biggie, i understand a long day at work. We sit down our server comes by promptly then drinks come out, food order is taken — all good so far. While we are waiting for our food we notice servers are running around, in panic mode it seemed and another server is shouting things. It was complete chaos. A lady from another lady is starting to get loud with her serving complaining about how long they had to wait and now her food is there and its COLD. I over hear the server explaining they are short handed. The woman at the table was pretty pissed and asked to speak to a manager. There is a child banging forks on the table across the dining room and the couple behind us is obviously fighting, you can hear them cussing at each other. We waited about a good 45 minutes for our food, which our server apologized tons of times about. The servers were getting there butt kicked and no manager was even around trying to get the situation under control, or telling the servers to calm down and quit hollering around the customers. It was a pretty bad experience. But I like my food. The poor rating is based on the atmosphere, the lack of leadership from managers, the lack of regard from the other servers that we as customers are trying to enjoy our dinner and the type of people occupying the place.

This Denny’s is close to our home, so we go there probably at least two or three times a week. The food is prepared well and served at the right temperature(I like my hot food hot and my cold food cold). The thing that makes this Denny’s stand out is the service. The people who work here(from manager Sherry on down) are like good friends. I look forward to seeing them when we go in. The place is spotless and the seating is quick too. They even hosted a surprise birthday party for me last weekend. :)

Been here a bunch of times. Always had pretty good service and food. I will admit every once in a while they mess up and over cook the bacon or eggs. They always fix it and take care of it. The food is decent not amazing. It is a commercial restaurant. Always come here for kids eat free. Generally clean place.

Let me start by saying, this place is close to my house and I have to admit I come here whenever I’m craving a late night snack or want a heavy meal that Not fast food. Also, I always order to go & it’s still hot when I pull up to my house. If you’re craving a salad, they make you the biggest salad To-Go and it’s only $ 3.50. Try going to Whataburger. it’s atleast $ 5. No thank you! I can attest to the French toast too and chicken fried steak! So delicious. Plus, you gotta give it up to the 24 hour places that never close. It gives options to night-owls like me ready to go on a «fried-everything» bender. Haha. My tip is: Call ahead before you head out the door. The place is always freezing inside and you don’t just want to be sitting around.

Wow. Just wow. My husband and I only go to this Denny’s when we’re craving some breakfast food because it’s the closest one to our house. We’ve gone 4 times. Each time worse than the before. We will not be going back! Our latest experience was during a non busy Friday morning. We walked in and the host was not there. Took 5 minutes before we were seated. The place was half empty. We sat down at a dirty table. We told the waiter but she just shrugged her shoulders. We already knew what we wanted before she walked away to get our drinks but never asked us. It took her 10 minutes to bring my husband cold coffee and me an orange juice. Hubby asked for fresh hot coffee and she said that they were making some and it would be another 5 minutes. We gave our order. 30 minutes later(we couldn’t even see her to flag her down) she came by to say that the Belgium waffle machine was broken and I needed to pick something else. I said ok, sure how about pancakes. She walked off and 15 minutes later we got our order. I did not have the pancake replacements for the waffles, she said oops ill be back. 20 minutes later we begged for our check. We debated on walking out several times. I could also hear the other customers complaining about not having correct orders, cold food, and terrible service. Now, the 3 tables with customers around us all had the orders before we did, and we placed ours before they did! We took our recipe to the front to pay as usual. The manager was there and took our check. She said how was your meal. HA! Hubby looked at me like wow I wish she wouldn’t asked. Hubby said. Well, looks like we’re never coming back. She just said oh, were you the table that ordered the waffles? Um yes. She said I’m so sorry about all of that. Your meal is on us. Ok, great free meal… but it doesn’t make up for the Awful food, terrible customer service, the list goes on. None of the waiters looked happy. Happy boss = happy employees. hmmm…
