Overall a decent value for an average room. This hotel is located along the highway surrounded by retail and restaurants. Service here was friendly, however the rooms themselves were very basic with limited amenities. The room was smaller than I would have expected, with an even smaller bathroom. Overall the bed was comfortable and provided a decent night’s sleep. The room was complete with both a mini fridge and microwave, however I wasn’t there long enough to need to use either. Overall value was good, however I would probably look elsewhere next time I happen to be in the area.

Nice hotel at a decent price! I didn’t stay very long… this was more of just a place to crash before I was on the road early the next morning. But I did like how there was a fridge and microwave in my room. The bed was comfy and linens were CLEAN! Bathroom was tiny, but was nice and clean as well. They also had free breakfast downstairs. It’s not the best breakfast I’ve ever seen at a hotel, but they have your main breakfast basics. Staff seemed friendly too! No complaints here. This is where I will be staying whenever I have to spend a weekend in NWI.

This is a very old Fairfield. In need of updating. The beds were hard, room cleanliness was mediocre at best. I was not greeted as a Platinum member and check in was very slow. This is a unique Fairfield as it is very old. It is located nice as everything you need is close(restaurants, bars, mall, etc.) Would look for something else next time

The room we had was VERY small – two double beds, and no room between them, nor between the bed and the walls on either side. As I’ve experienced at other Fairfield hotels, the walls of the room were pretty useless, it sounded like the people in the next room were partying in ours. The breakfast was the same as any other Fairfield, nothing to write home about but at least you can get something warm to eat. Last warning… the Marriott website description says ‘pool’ but doesn’t tell you that it is an outdoor pool, so my kids were disappointed that they couldn’t swim. We cancelled the second night of our reservation and went to the Courtyard nearby – indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and a much larger room. Also, it was QUIET! I will say that the front desk people at the Fairfield were polite and friendly. If you’re looking for a hotel based on price only, and you can sleep through noise, go for it. If you want a little more comfort, or need quiet to sleep, pass on this one.

Recently stayed. Wasn’t impressed with water leaking in hallway with trash cans collecting the water. Breakfast was bland but free. Hotel staff very nice and friendly.

It’s definitely Marriott’s «budget» hotel, but the rooms are very clean & the staff are friendly. It also has a decent continental breakfast. I recommend staying here if you are on a tight budget but are looking for clean and comfort. This is definitely your place.

First, the pros. The price is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is good. The breakfast is good and free. It has RFID key cards. And, you can connect your phone to the TV and control it from there. There is ample parking. The Internet is free. There is a fridge in the room. The cons are that the rooms are old and(at least on the first floor) smell like mildew, old, and damp. I wish there were more charging options. I have 4 devices to charge tonight and have to crawl behind furniture to search for open outlets.

What a nice surprise for the price! This hotel was very adequate in more ways than one. As a Marriott member, it’s the little things that matter the most. As soon as I walked in, there were fresh baked chocolate chip cookies to welcome you. The staff was also very friendly and helpful during the check in process. My room was very cozy and comfortable. Overall this hotel is a great buy and it’s also in a great location. There’s basically everything surrounding it and next door is a great Mexican restaurant named Abuelos. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

We got a great deal on the room on priceline. Definitely 5 stars for the price. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, very nice staff. We were happy to have a fridge in the room — it did make a terrible sound when on, but we didn’t bother to ask for another fridge or room since we only stayed 2 nights. The room was pretty small compared to most hotels we are used to, but again for the price, we were pleasantly surprised.

I’d passed through this area(Crown Point) in the 90’s with a college friend who grew up there. I never thought I’d be back. A friend of ours in Dallas was getting married; he happens to be from Schereville. Fairfield Inn lived up to our expectations. Clean, comfortable, good check in experience, decent breakfast. The bathroom counter is super tiny, but other than that, it was a serviceable stay. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.

Very friendly, clean, and a great value for the area. We always stay here while passing through the area.

For the category of hotel the Fairfield Inn is in, this is a decent hotel. You receive free breakfast that consists of coffee, cereal, yogurt, bagels etc. No hot food really but you have your basics there. The rooms themselves are clean and what you’d expect if you’ve stayed at other Fairfield Inns. I think it might be a little nicer than others because the counters are granite or something like. The service is good too. The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful. I don’t particularly care for the beds because the comforter is too thin and the mattress is ok but it’s the same bed you get an any of the Marriott hotels such as Fairfield or Courtyard. The only thing I didn’t like is that the halls are long and a little unwelcoming but other than that, I don’t have any complaints.
