Comfort Suites

Would be 5 stars cause it’s nice clean and good tv but I got charged an extra day (which I found out cause I check my balance and they fixed it) also someone was giving a key to my room and tried getting in at 10:30 at night luckily I had it locked

After calling 7 times and finally getting someone (Ericka) to answer the phone she rudely hung on me! I guess I won’t be staying here anytime soon. Thank you in advance for what probably would have been a terrible stay.

I needed to grab a room here one night to get a few hours of sleep. I actually don’t live that far from here but stayed out of necessity (work issues).
It wasn’t terrible. I just don’t know it would be my first choice in the future. For starters, not a single employee was visible when I left in the morning and no coffee was ready yet.
The room left me stuffed up and everything felt a little dirty. I even found business cards on the floor from the previous guest. I couldn’t wait to get home and take another shower. It’s cheap though. So I guess it’s Ok for what it is.

My second stay here was even better then my first. Erika at the front desk is awesome and amazing. I made a special request to check in early so I could get ready to go to a wedding. Erika was very helpful and accommodating. Im really happy with my stay here! Anthony Melchiorri’s from the tv show Hotel Impossible would be impressed!
One thing that they should be changed is the shower head. Having a shower head with a hose on it would make the place nicer for the guest.

Horrible service. We were here for a football tourney and where treated rudely. The owner had the rooms spread put instead of having the teams on the bottom, floor. Instead of solving the situation they called the sheriff on us. The counter staff are rude and liars. U ask them a question they would say no they can’t but turn around and do it for another team. Would never stay here again or, another comfort suites.

Stayed here for a week for a family reunion the rooms are nice however they are not very clean, stains on mirror and windows, shower head messed up more water on floor then on you. Now let’s talk about the customer service and lack of professionalism. Front desk staff rude seemed annoyed and mad they work there, they didn’t explain charges or look you in the face. So apparently the owner has cameras everywhere and watch them at home. Staff seems scared of him and told us to contact corporate to complain. We reserved about 15 rooms and felt like we werent properly accommodated. Staff complained about us being in the lobby

I stayed one night as I had an exam in town. If I visit Merrillville, IN again and need a place to stay this will definitely be the hotel I make a reservation with! I believe it’s a newly renovated hotel as the building was very clean and updated with modern furnishings. My room included a fluffy king size bed, a lovely desk to study at, a sofa seating area, a large bathroom, and the much needed wi-​fi. The bathroom was exquisite! The towels were so soft it was like drying off with a fluffy, white cloud. My only «complaint»? The shower head could have been upgraded, but the water temperature and pressure were perfect. Aside from the amazing bed I slept in, my other favorite part of this hotel was the complimentary morning breakfast. Nothing fancy, but a good spread– hard boiled eggs, make-​your-​own waffle, eggs, sausage, yogurt, pastries, cereal, and coffeeeeeeee! Yumm!
