Brand new, can never go wrong with new. Stayed on points with choice rewards but the person who booked the room stated that the amount of points required was very reasonable. Huge eating area in the lobby and good service. It is also nice they have a little store on premise for snacks and essentials, if needed. Would happily stay here again.

On our long trek home from north Alabama (dropping our daughter at summer camp) back to Baton Rouge, La, we thought we would be able to pull a long drive out And make it home in the wee hours. We underestimated our exhaustion, and needed a pet friendly place to stay at about 12:45 am.
There were not a lot of options, and most of them were booked, or NOT somewhere I would stay (I am very particular about hotels I will stay in– I usually won’t stay in anything less than a hampton inn)
We found the last room available in a brand new hotel– seriously, so brand new– the sod wasn’t even settled in yet outside!
It was super clean, nice, comfortable!
They allowed our dogs in the room for a small pet fee ($ 10), and the room was huge with modern furnishings. The breakfast area was huge with the normal array of breakfast items– the hostess was very personable and attentive.
I would stay here again!
Only complaint is that the walk in shower leaked from the door and our toilet got clogged up.
