I wasn’t very impressed unfortunately. I spent about 20 minutes browsing the hunting and camping sections. Only one employee even acknowledged me.
They didn’t have much of a selection for rifles. It was mostly shotguns and a few bolt action rifles. I guess Dick’s focuses on other departments? I did see a lot of clothing on the racks.
I don’t plan on going back. Sportsman’s Warehouse down the street on Eagle has a wider selection. Oh well.

We did pick up some clearance items. Store bright and clean. Cashier very helpful.
But the reason we went in was an ad in the paper. First day of ad, half hour after opening they were completely out of stock. We were told that the ad ran last week and the store ran out at the start of last week.

I have come to love Dick’s Sporting Goods, as they tend to have a good selection of merchandise everytime I’ve visited the store. I used to shop at another store all the time in Oregon, but this was my first visit to the one here in Idaho. It’s a bit of a drive to get here from where we live, but since we were in the area, it was worth the TWO stops for my wife to find her shoes. (She didn’t want to buy right away, so after a long day, we ended right back here buying a pair she saw much on the FIRST stop). Well, it WAS her birthday, so being the good husband I went along with a smile :-)
I would definately shop here more if it was to be closer, but I will probably come here if I have an item in mind and know that they will more than likely have it.
