Was going to stop at Mill creek cattle for a beer and snack, but it appears that the Vagos MC decided to take over this day. Unilocaled Barnacles — said they were closed today, called but they were open. Glad we came, quiet place had the southwest empanada and poppers, cold beer what else can you ask for.

Stopped by on Friday night. Lots of CCR by live band. Plenty of TVs. Joy’s a hot bartender so all’s good.

Live music on Friday and Saturday nights! They have a jukebox box and cheap beer. Bartenders are nice. Their food is average. They just upgraded their TV’s as well. The restrooms could use some cleaning haha. Overall I like this bar.

Fun atmosphere, good drinks, bartenders are cool but the owner definitely lives up to her reputation for being rude to her own customers. Her recent arguments — out loud — with her boyfriend, right there in the middle of the bar are less than entertaining. She’s no young pup, time to grow up!

I’ve been to many bars to listen to live music but this one was the worst. The bartender was the rudest woman I have ever met. Then some old fart started a fight with some young boys then to find out he was with one of the waitresses. They said nothing to him but the young boys had to leave. At the end of the night the rude bartender kicked the band out and it was only 1:30 but the outside patio was full of people. The drinks were watered down. Some pervert came up to me thinking he was going to ask me a question but this one eyed fool licked my ear then walked away laughing. How nasty. I will never go to this place again. The only good part was the bathrooms were very clean other than that I will never be back.

I’ve always heard bad things about this place, but I don’t see it. Good drinks, tons of entertainment nights and good food, only issue I would has is the area is a little jacked !

It is in Mentone so don’t have high expectations. Food Is decent and as good as it will get for this area. It is a dive bar but drinks its pretty reasonable if you want to get a drink and not have to drive into Redlands for overpriced drinks. Good service. Only bad part is that the outdoor seating at night is smokey and very dim.

Since it was the Oarhouse, always enjoyed going in there. It still has the best food and you have not lived until you’ve had their cook’s homemade tortilla chips with his salsa… totally awesome. Bartenders are quick to serve and never had an issue. When it changed to Barnacles, we’d stop in maybe 2 – 3 times a year whenever we wanted to relax. It draws an eclectic crowd during the day but you definately do not want to go there at night. This is not a safe bar and I would not recommend it to decent folks. Yes, decent folks do go in there and we’ve met some really nice people from all walks of life, but you also run into not so nice people from certain walks of life that look for trouble. This once upbeat dive bar has slipped to plain old dive bar. We won’t be back.

I came here with a friend and the service was the worst I have ever had at a bar. It smelled of smoke and the waitress was more interested in the men at the bar than those of us that wanted food. I waited so long for food I ended up asking for it to go. It’s dark, divey, and noisy. I won’t be back.

You could smell the cigarette smoke before even walking in. After walking in, of course it was worse. It smelled ad if the bar was outside on a smoking patio. The lights are incredibly dim and I didn’t find it welcoming in the least bit. Needless to say, I didn’t stay for a drink so I can’t comment on that :)

I went for the first time last night. I’ve been craving the food ever since. I had the Hot Wings, Fries, Build Your Own Burger with their fresh potato chips. It was all REALLY good! The others with me like the food too. All our drinks were good too. We’ll definitely go back.

My favorite local bar which is super friendly and doesn’t have the bro feel of downtown Redlands. They are trying to bring more of a sports bar feel to it with the new ownership, but it still remains more of an upbeat dive bar with lots of tv’s and live music some days, my kind of place.
