Hickory Ranch Steakhouse & Sports Bar

My family and I recently visited HR and I was very pleased with a server named Armando. He greeted us very politely and did not rush us. He made us feel welcome. I was a little unsure of what to order; so, he recommended an outstanding dish. You can say I will definitely be back again.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. We loved the food and the very friendly waiters/​waitresses and bar tenders. The bar tenders all new us by name and we didn’t have to order our drinks. They knew us as regulars and were already making them before we sat down.
Well, all good things come to an end. The last time we were there the Hickory burger was terrible. I couldn’t eat it. The prices keep going up for the food and beers and quality down.
This was a great place just a year ago. To bad things have the change. The Hickory burger use to be my favorite.
We won’t be back.

I would say the food is really good, maybe closer to a 4 but the experience was a 5 with our great server Ashleigh! I would recommend and definitely request her! She’s super friendly and on top of it!

Came here on the advise of a friend instead of Pinnacle Peaks. closer and worth it. Everything was excellent. I had the 6oz filet, baked yam, seasoned veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, and carrots), and upgraded salad. Everything was tasty. The free potato skins were perfect, and not skippy considering they were free with the Unilocal app. Only oddity I can mention, is soup is gratis, salad is a $ 1.50 upgrade but worth it. The steaks are tender and moist. Really cooked to order. Totally worth the trip and price. We had a very lovely birthday dinner for 6.

Highly recommend. We tried the tri tip, baby back ribs, blackened rib eye and top sirloin. All were very tasteful and came in huge portions with lots of sides! Our server, Kat, was very helpful and friendly and knew what to recommend for us to eat. You should definately try this place if you want some great tasting meat.

Soup chicken and rice delicious
Sautéed mushrooms to die for
And yes Victor was our server outstanding as always

Went here for a business lunch today & the food was great! Portions were large and price reasonable. We had a party of 4 meeting over lunch and our waitress (Barbara, I think) was attentive, but gave us our space as well. We all left saying that when we are in the area this is definitely where we will eat again.

Good food. Always great service year after year. Prices good.

It has been years since we’ve been here due too many past dissapoinments. The wife and I actually said we would never go back. Seeing all the reviews saying they have great staff and great food we bit the bullet to give this place one more chance.
Im so glad we gave the Hickory Ranch another try. We were greeted and sat by a waitress Kat. She was very polite and happy to assist us. Kat took our drink order and helped me get the Free potatoe skins. She had a new waitress she introduced us to and her name was Sarah. Sarah completed our ordering and brought us our entrée but Kat wasn’t a stranger during our stay as she replenished our drinks and asked us how the meals were.
As for the food it was great. The appetizer came promptly after the order, was hot, looked very fresh, had alot of toppings, and tasted great. The steak was cooked properly to medium temp, au gratin potatoes were hot with creamy cheese, and tasted great. The Ribeye steak was very tender and you can tell the use a good quality beef. The beer batter onion rings could of been hotter but the flavor was good.
Overall we had an amazing experience and will be back due to the great food but more importantly the customer service. We felt welcomed by Kat and Sarah and enjoyed the atmoshphere. Kat and Sarah were knowledgeable of the menu and they didn’t mind to create small talk. I really appreciate the exceptional customer service they provided the wife and I with. We will be back for sure, Thank you.

This restaurant is over priced menu for the area. It’s amazing that 8 oz Sirloin steak is almost $ 20.00 this steak was way over priced.
The entire menu selection was over priced on all menu selections.
The service was good, however it was no exceptional.
The chicken noodle soup was good. The Au gratin potatoes were good and the seasonal vegetables were exceptional Why does is there upgrade for dinner salad over the soup?
I was disappointed with my sirloin steak was over cook for medium rare.
It might be some in the future before I return to Hickory Ranch again.

I tried the western burger with blue cheese and grilled onions had waffle cut sweet potato fries as the side. Those waffle cut sweet potato fries are awesome. Tip use the Unilocal app check in and you get a free appetizer. Potato skins loaded with bacon. Definitely a. must have next time I am on the area.

Went there for a To Go order (lunch) on a Saturday. Menu prices on Unilocal were incorrect ($ 1 – 2 cheaper than in real life). But, manager gave me the price listed on the Unilocal menu (they should probably update that).
Had burgers. Amazing! Recommend the Hickory house burger. Coleslaw was good, fries were generic frozen steak fries.

Amazing cuts of beef! Whether it’s the prime rib, ribeye or the filet Mignon you can’t go wrong. Truly a family owned feeling. Thanx again guys!!!

Love hanging out here on a Friday night. Karaōke is so much fun. Love the bartenders — Dan and Ian. They’ve always got a great new beer to try. If you like mixed drinks that aren’t too sweet try the Southern Hospitality — so good!

Still a 5 star, and Victor is one of the best if not the best waiter o have ever had. He is very informative on the menu and specials and always follows up on you and makes sure your well taken care of.
Came in for my birthday today and had there meatloaf, outstanding, just like homemade. My son love the spaghetti here, he says it’s the best. This place will continue to be our go to spot.

Where to begin!!! This place was great!!! My first time here today and I will definitely be back again! The chicken tortilla soup… AMAZING! I cannot wait to try the tomato basil. The 14 oz. prime rib was cooked perfectly, medium rare, just how I like it! Garlic mashed potatoes were delicious! And the bread they bring before the meal… sooo good! The waiters were all very nice. We weren’t ignored or bothered. Perfect, perfect, perfect!

Victor is awesome. I can’t say that enough.
He recommended the cheesesteak with Au jus and the buffalo chicken sandwich.
Both were delicious!
Also the free potato skins were a nice icing on the cake :)

Rip off. Feed your kids before you come here!!! Paid $ 7 for microwaved hard frozen chicken. The breading tasted stale and very few French fries. I can buy a whole bag of French fries and chicken nuggets for the same price as this sad pathetic meal for my kid that would last at least a week.
So sad that this is $ 7 and what the kids have to eat! Owners should be a shamed!

For starters, our server Victor gets 5 stars. He was one of the best, most memorable servers we’ve had in a long time.
The menu is extensive and the food is good. If we were in the Yucaipa area again we would definitely return.
