This place is okay. The room is interesting with cool décor. The food is mediocre to good in my experiences coming here. One time it was very good, the other times it was variable, poor to competent, averaging out at okay. Let’s not ask for stationery to write home about it.
Overall, I’d saw that here in the Mendocino Hotel Garden Café, we find ourselves smack dab in the center of the bell-​shaped curve, at the absolute center of what is possible. It’s certainly not great, but it could be worse. If that’s what you want from life and lunch or breakfast, do stop in. You can’t do mediocre better.
