We were referred to Dr. Alex when my 2 year old needed a pulpectomy. She had been to see 2 other dentists beforehand to treat a cavity, the last one having caused her extreme pain; and she was TERRIFIED of going back to the dentist… to the point of sobbing and shaking when I told her we needed to go back to a dentist a 3rd time. Dr Alex was amazing. He talked to her as if she was the one footing the bill:), very kind and respectful of her fears. When she was calm and comfortable, he did the procedure. They use nitrous, which I normally wouldn’t be thrilled about, but with her past trauma, I was just happy she wasn’t in pain. She came out of the procedure happy and pain free. There was no screaming, no tears. She has continued on with regular check-ups with our local dental team with no fears or flashbacks of the bad experiences, and I credit this to Dr. Alex’s professional and competent care. My experience with the staff there was exceptional. The whole team was great with kids.

I have been looking for a childrens dentist for some time, and was excited to schedule appointments for my two young children after seeing his 5-star rating on google. I called Tuesday at 455 pm(during posted business hours) and they were already closed, so I left a voice message asking to make an appointment and ask they call back. The next day(Wednesday), they still hadn’t called by 2 pm so I called back. They take lunch until 220 pm(weird time…) so I called back again around 3 pm, and finally got someone! I mentioned I had left a voicemail, but no one had returned my call so I figured I would call back, she blew me off and totally ignored the comment. YOUSHOULDHAVEAPOLOGIZED. She was however accommodating while I scheduled the appointment, but by the next day I had forgotten what time it was so I called back Thursday morning at 828 am(I’m literally looking at my phones call log). The office was closed(even though their business hours at 820 am). So I called again at 830, still closed. So I called again at 834, still closed. So I call again at 844, FINALLYANANSWER! I laughed and said«oh did you forget to turn on your phones this morning?» She says«No, we open at 830» and I said«well your answering machine says 820.» She ignored the comment. YOUSHOULDHAVEAPOLOGIZED and said We’ll fix that! Wow, what an inconvenience! But no, she was RUDE and ignored it. Which rubbed me the wrong way, so I said you know I actually called at 834 too, and your phones were still shut off. She said, I was on the other line, NOYOUWERENTLIAR. I called multiple times and every single time it rang once and went straight to your answering machine. Kathy, you have a poor attitude, and are throwing money out the window for your boss. Dr Alex could be a heaven sent dentist but you are not good at your job, obviously by not keeping the phones on during business hours and having zero personality. I told her to just cancel my appointment. Even if you’re an amazing practitioner, you are directly represented by your front office staff and from what I’ve seen merely from a few phone calls, this place IS A JOKE!
