This place is amazing so many options. Quality is high and the price is good. I only order the large because I’m a big guy an one fills me up! There are so many choices I want to try them all but I keep ordering the pilgrim dream because it’s so dam amazing. I strongly recommend this deli to anyone in the area.

This place just has a great formula. It’s really quick, the quality is good, and the people are always friendly in their own way. They have tons of different combinations, maybe too many, but you will probably become a regular so you will learn to choose between your top 3 – 4 options and life will be okay, I swear. I personally don’t like the type of bread they use for the large but they are happy to make a large on the ‘regular’ style bread if you just ask. I’m really happy for these guys having been in business for so long now and still pumping out the same good quality sandwiches with the same winning formula as always. The same can’t be said of the one in Dover… Recommended for sure! One of my favorites spots in the area to stop in and get lunch.

Ok so I have made my last visit to this place. I have continued to support them as a local business because, yes the food is good but their attitudes are terrible. They are just two angry men who are never happy to see a customer walk through the door. Today I stopped in to grab an impromptu lunch with a friend. I had what I would normally have and unfortunately the feta cheese on my salad was sour and bad. I brought it back up and apologized(not sure why) that the cheese was no good, the jackwagon looks at me and says with an attitude«are you sure». I said yes, it’s sour. He said are you sure it’s not just the olives. I reminded him I eat here plenty and I also know feta cheese, it’s bad. He said what do you want. I just said another salad, no nothing just give me a salad. I will say I do love their food BUT what he should have said was sorry to ME and offered me another one from the start instead of acting like a complete jerk. Appreciate that we support YOUR little business and treat your customers with some respect! I will NEVER give them a penny of my money again. They are just plain rude and angry people.

Just got a #1 sandwich. Based on that one I’m going to try and eat my way through #77. First decent sandwich I’ve had since moving to MA. Definitely the only option for deli in Medfield. Keep it up.

Greatest buffalo chicken sandwich of all time. The absolute greatest. Their chicken is indescribable, and have a wide range of over 100 sandwiches.

Ok so I gave them 2 stars mainly because their attitudes are awful. I can’t think of a time when I went here that they were pleasant or remotely thankful for my business. They act as if they are doing YOU a favor by serving you. The ONLY reason I go here is unfortunately they have great salad and their food is good. I go here sporadically because I think they all need a major attitude adjustment. I would go more often if they were actually pleasant!

Italian Groceria has quite the assortment of sandwiches(50+), and the absolute best Minestrone soup I have ever had. However… The rudest female employee ever. I first visited this place in August 2014, and two very friendly men, the cooks, were eating chips and shared with my 4 year old son. That is what made me continue to frequent this establishment. I went in on New Year’s Eve and the sign stated they were closing at either 3:00 or 3:30, I arrived with 15 minutes to spare, I was only going to order soup. I was immediately told when I walked in the door by the female«WEARECLOSED», she was so rude, she is always rude. I phoned in an order a few days after that, and I stated I wanted a large chicken Parmesan sub, I inquired about something with the sandwich and in a very rude tone she said«WHATSIZE???» I mean I already said large at the beginning. The food is good, however the customer service is so bad that I can’t justify returning. Too bad I am going to miss the Minestrone soup.

This is by far my favorite sandwich shop. I always get the chicken cutless sandwich with mayo, tomatoes and lettuce. The roll is so fresh and awesome. Place is immaculate looking, friendly staff.

I have not tried any sandwiches here, but I think they have the best pizza in town. Theirs is thin and does not drip with fat, and they try to use fresh ingredients at least to some extent. I love the veggie pizza. The pizza at Royal’s and Casa-Bella is just gross and I can’t smell it anymore, and Papa Gino’s gets 2 out of 3 orders wrong. Village Pizza changed ownership so many times and each time it became a bit filthier. Sadly, these are pretty much the choices for pizza in Medfield, and Italian Groceria is the only remaining place that sells pizza that I can enjoy. (I know, there is also Go Fresh — I reviewed them separately)

I have tried this place several times, sampling their menu. There is no other description, it’s just bad. The last straw was when we ordered several sandwiches to go, NONE of them were correct. We didn’t vary from the ones on the wall, but they didn’t even know how to make their own«signature» sandwiches correctly. Too bad really, if they could make what they advertised it might not be half bad.

Great sandwiches. Very good pizza. Good service(except on the nights when they have the program for Medfield sports programs, then it’s too busy).

Best deli for good, reliable sandwiches in the burbs. Rolls for the small and regular size is definitely better than what they use on the large. Sometimes pizza in inconsistent. When it’s good, it’s very good. When it’s not, it’s average.

EDIT: We got another pizza from them yesterday — called at 5:35 and they close at 6:00 — we picked up the pizza at 5:50. It was AWFUL — sloppily put together, cheese and sauce just clumped up, and undercooked, even though we asked for it to be slightly overcooked. Yuck. Will try one more time. Original review: Finally! Good pizza in Medfield! Great cheese and crispy thin crust. Also great are most of the diverse menu of sandwiches, on homemade bread if you want, and the chicken fingers are great. The fries however are not good, and they messed up my delivery order and then didn’t re-deliver the right thing, so I only am giving them 4 stars.

Always good! Lots of variety! I make sure to call ahead to speed up the process. I’ve been coming here since it opened, although there is a different owner, the quality has stayed(and so has the menu, with so much variety I never get sick of the options!!)

Delicious fresh big sandwiches. I have been since ownership changed and seems to be as good as ever.

3 years since the last review? yikes… ownership has since changed hands and has been renamed«italian groceria» despite the owners being either finnish or polish… whatever sandwiches are good for lunch. I dig most of the sandwiches… only a few suck. Try the triple decker if you’re up for a challenge

Isabella’s is the best deli I’ve found in the burbs! Having grown up in the city and moved out to languish in suburbia last year(TEMPORARILY), I have been horrified to discover the sparsity of good local delis and restaurants. It has taken me months to conclude that there is nothing other than chain restaurant crap in the town I live in(Walpole) — with one or two minor exceptions. Just recently, however, I found Isabella’s near my work and WOW. Humongous menu with various specialty sandwiches ranging well beyond chicken parm and Italians(this seems to pass for variety out here). I had the Portabello Mushroom sub and it was delicious — just the right mix of feta and other veggies, with just a dab of olive oil. I see from other reviews that there are several locations — I have gone to the one in Dover. Staff was friendly and accommodating and the place is warm, well-lit and welcoming. An oasis in the the shadow of corporate chain monstrosities. I will be back!

Isabella’s has several locations. Medfield, Dover, Franklin, and I believe a new one in Bellingham opened last year. Anyways, I know that they have a pretty large fanbase in the towns they’re in. Great for take-out and the prices aren’t too too bad. These definetly aren’t the flimsy sandwiches you get at Subway. They have dozens of creative sandwiches; truly something delicious for every palate. I personally love the Summer Sizzler, The Socrophats, and my new favorite, Simi’s Pesto Chicken. Amazing! Plus if you’re a student you get free sodas!

I love their sandwiches. They have a smörgåsbord of options on their menu, all with creative names. My favorite is the Mayflower, which is pretty much like a thanksgiving dinner inside a sandwich(minus the pumpkin pie!). They also have deli meats and pastas and such you can buy to take home. Lots of seating inside. They recently opened another location in Dover, right near the town hall.
