Been there 4 times using the drive thru and the order was incorrect each time. Will not deal with the poor training by the management again.

The food is really good, which is the reason why we stopped here on the way back from a day trip. The store was pretty dirty though, stuff all over the tables and underneath. They could probably spend some time cleaning up a bit.

I’ve been twice in the few years that theve been open and they messed up the order both times. It’s not hard to get a plain sandwich. Its OK if they get it right i guess. Maybe things have changed. Just double check your order.

My family and I come here often. The sweet and unsweetened tea are both very refreshing. I love the cheddar biscuits, and my son’s favorite treat is a Boberry biscuit. It has always been clean, and my son loves to sit inside while devouring his biscuit.

We look forward to this pick up on the way back from the beach… i could live off the dirty rice, i add hot sause. Never tried the desserts. All the comforts of a good fried chicken sunday dinner. Priced fair. Staff was speed lightening fast n friendly. .they need to be told to have fun with their customers. Love this food.

AMAZING food: Cajun biscuit and Cajun fries. Delicious as always. But at this Bojangles I had to wait 15 minutes before I got my food. I came in at 1:00pm. At 1:15pm I finally got my good. There was lack of communication between the workers and they had a «not caring» attitude. The workers only seemed to focus on one order at a time which was annoying with several orders. I may seem picky because I was hungry but the lack of organization and communication skills made me give it 2 stars. The food is delicious as always.

Here I am breaking my own rule for the 18th time. That rule is reviewing a chain restaurant or a franchise. But whatever dude. Anything good is usually a chain. Except for Panera Bread, Burger King, Noodle Company, Shoney’s, Waffle House, and a bunch of others I can think of right now. Let’s talk fried chicken though. Probably the greatest food ever invented by human hands. Some beautiful person thought rolling chicken in flour with some spices and then frying it in oil was a good idea. It’s not a good idea it’s the best idea. Unless you’re Louis Phelan who decided pressure frying was a superior technique. Phelan’s method is called broasting. «Broasting» is a method of cooking chicken and other foods using a pressure fryer and condiments. The technique was invented by Phelan in the early 1950s and if you EVER get a chance to try a LICENSED broasted chicken it’ll change your life. Sorry, I was having a moment. Where were we? Through the ages people have taken a stab at the art of fried chicken. Colonel Sanders has some success with his recipe. Al Copeland decided he liked his with a little more pepper and had some success with the Popeyes chain. Then we have Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas who founded Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits. They also felt fried chicken needs a little heat and market their chicken as Cajun. The result is a delicious hot sauce type fried chicken that rivals perfection. It’s ridiculous how good this chicken is. I’m grateful to live in Richmond Virginia just for this glorious friend chicken. Since I can’t find broasted anywhere, Bojangles has been my saving grace. Thank you Bojangles’; thank you.

The best breakfast and it’s served all day long. There chicken also has some really great seasoning. This place is really fast in the drive thru you just can’t pay with anything over $ 20 in cash. The inside is also pretty fast and over all they have great customer service. If you live in the altee area you have to make this place your morning breakfast spot on the way to work.

This location is fairly new to Mechanicsville, so one would think it would be clean. I had heard that the location was lacking in cleanliness, but their breakfast smelled so good one day that I had to try it! I went in to dine and the customer service was ok… food was hot… BUT, there was a long brunette hair in my Hash Rounds :(The food was so good that mentally I quickly tried to rationalize it as being my hair lol. but it was not. The Manager changed it out and apologized… but that put a bad taste in my mouth… literally. Because I like Bojangles, I may give this location one more shot. but if I walk in again and it’s dirty… I’ll just go to Popeye’s across the street. :)

Having moved north(Rhode Island) a few years back, I have been in dire need of fried chicken. KFC rules the roost up here with the odd Popeyes(1 or 2). I am not a KFC fan. So I was extremely happy to stumble on to a Bojangles. A few years back I worked in Charlotte NC and this was one of the spots I stopped at on a regular basis. So jackpot! Well, this store looks relatively new and is clean and tidy. The folks in the back were pretty quick on getting the order. I will say the guy taking my order seemed a little preoccupied and I had to keep repeating my order. I guess«3 piece dark» is a bit much. After he plugged in the 3 piece, he asked if I wanted white or dark. Go figure. Anyway, the chicken was hot and fresh all tough a little on the small side. The biscuit was big, but over cooked. I also had the dirty rice which was fantastic. Not sure if it is because it had been a while or not, but it was the star of the show. The price was very reasonable given the competition.

Bojangles to Richmond was once like JJ Walker to Good Times… people were disappointed when it left behind the legacy of the Bo Biscuit with nowhere to get one at any time of day. As a result, many were excited to see the chain resurface when the Nine Mile Road location opened in 2009. I still recall making a special trip from my then apartment in the West End on the day it opened and returning to enjoy my meal as I watched Michael Jackson’s memorial service with mixed emotions. I was equally excited when I learned about the Atlee Road location being built, since I’ve traveled that way once a week for class since August. I stalked Bojangles’ website a called other nearby locations to find out when it would open. I checked again today after being told it would be open in mid-April and discovered a phone number listed for the location! I called and was told by a man that they were, in fact, open for business. It wasn’t until after I made a beeline to Bojangles’ after work that I discovered this was actually its opening day. With that said, I was happy to see there wasn’t a long line similar to the Nine Mile Road location when it open. On the other hand, the lack of a line made me wonder for just a moment if this location was an imposter! I give them credit for the friendly service I was provided with at the drive through. However, they’ve gotta perfect the Bojangles’ recipe for goodness. The tea wasn’t sweet enough, the fries weren’t seasoned enough, and my biscuit wasn’t buttery enough! The chicken was crispy but didnt have enough skin. At least my food was hot and fresh. I will give this location a break and allow them time to perfect the recipe… that’s the only way they will give Popeyes across the street a run for its money!
